Chapter 20

Faline

The blue-haired boy sat the pink-haired boy on his bed. Faline watched as Gucci sat on the other side, a small frown on his face. He seemed tired, which made sense. Gucci was never the type to wake up early. He still had his gold and blue jacket from that night. He could see it hanging on the back of his door. He wondered if his jacket was also in this room.

The boy with the blue hair hugged the boy pink, humming softly. Faline sniffled, rubbing his eyes. He felt Gucci place his chin on Faline's shoulder. "You wanna tell me what happened?" He asked quietly. Faline was quiet, not answering his questions. He came here for comfort, not questions.

He took a deep breath. What was he even doing here? He just, wanted someone to hug him. "You don't have to tell me. I don't need to know." He whispered. He reached on his nightstand to grabbed his phone. "I'm just gonna call Leo so that he knows that your ok. You wanna talk to him?" He asked, typing things out.

He wanted to say sorry to Apollo, wanted to apologize and tell him that he does, truly love him. But he knew that he couldn't. That it wouldn't end well for either of them. He sighed and nodded his head. The blue-haired boy handed the phone to him.

"Hello?" Leo asked from the other end. Faline tried stabling his voice. He sucked in a breath, before letting go. "Gucci? You there?" Leo asked at the silence. "It's Faline." He mumbled. The other side went quiet before Leo sighed. "Why are you with him, Faline?" No Kitty Gang member liked Gucci, besides Faline. Everyone didn't trust him.

"Because I wanted to see my friend. Is that a problem?" Faline asked sarcastically, venom dripping from his voice. "Hey, stop it," Gucci mumbled, lightly taking the phone from him. "Sorry about that, he's not in the best shape right now." Gucci got up, walking towards the door blocking the bedroom and hallway. He gestured for Faline to stay, before stepping out.

Faline and Gucci had a certain toxic relationship. They didn't want to talk to each other unless one was going through something, then and only then would the other come to help. They both had no one to lean on, which was good for a gang leader, but not as a human.

At one point, they both caught feeling for each other. And though they don't anymore, they still love each other, even if it's sometimes platonic.  He slowly stood up, walking around the carpeted room.

The Blue Rose Gang was richer than the Kitty Gang, Gucci's father had millions to spend. However, the Blue Rose Gang didn't like problems, so they tend to hide on the low. Sell illegal weapons and substances, or bribe police officers to keep their mouth shut about things. They were the middle man.

He walked over to the door, shutting it and looking up at the items hanging. He was right, Gucci did still have the blue jacket. He sighed, reaching to grab it off the hook. It has been two years and it still probably fits him. He drags his hands over the embroidered flowers, up to the satin body. It was a beautiful jacket. As he twirled the jacket around, a single photo fell out. He reached down, picking a photo up.

It was the same one as the one in his room at the hangout. A blue-haired boy and a pink-haired boy, smiling and laughing. Only this was the original. He turned it to the back.

Dear the love of my life,

Let these jackets absorb my love for you,

And let our smiles be forever in our memories

No matter how long we last,

Let us be connected in our hearts,

Gucci

Faline smiled softly, letting his eyes fill up with tears. Why didn't he do this? He suddenly heard footsteps walking towards the door. He quickly places the blue jacket on the metal hook, placing the picture sliding into the open pockets. He hopped back onto the bed, wiping his tears. He didn't love Gucci, why was he still crying.

Gucci opened the door, smiling sadly at Faline. He walked over to the bed, sitting down next to him. "Are you feeling better?" He combed his hand through his blue hair. He forgot to ask Gucci to touch his up for him. "A little." He mumbled softly. Why did he come here?? Gucci nodded, scooting up on the bed so his back was to the wall.

"You wanna tell me why you were at Jojuen Garden at eight in the morning." Oh, so that's how long he stayed there. He looked up at Gucci, with a small smile. "Only if you answer my question." He raised an eyebrow, smirking slightly. Gucci scooted so they were face to face. "Ok.."

"Do you still have my jacket?"

Gucci looked at him for a second. Faline could tell he didn't want to answer. "Why are you bringing this up? Does this have to do with you at Jojuen Garden in the early morning?" Faline shook his head quietly

"No, I just wanted to see if you still care about me the same way I care about you." Why did he say that?!

Gucci looked at him, seemingly shocked. He did not expect that. "Uh, Faline, where is this-" He cut himself off when Faline leaned up to him, raising his chin and kissing him on the lips. That was the first time they kissed in two years, so why did it feel so bad yet so good?

Faline realized too late, why he went to see Gucci.
