Fusion Summon

In Card Craft Stargazer's Legend, every player is racing to complete a strong and perfect duelling deck. Unfortunately, strength and perfection are not that easy to achieve. Every year new cards are created and released in the game, to achieve balanced gameplay and make the players rely on their skills and judgement rather than the cards themselves.

But this balance in the gameplay can be shattered by not sticking to a single duelling deck and using a deck that is specifically optimized to counter the cards the opponent is using. A duelling deck that is volatile based on the cards used by the enemy. This can only be achieved by owning a large number of rare and unique cards. And gathering information of the opponent and his duelling deck before the card duel.

This is the reason why Ethan claimed that the myth of the perfect duelling deck was not real and spent $1.3 million to collect all the rare and unique cards to form the volatile duelling deck he needs to complete the game at the fastest time possible. And for the information part, Ethan has been collecting information on Card Craft Stargazer's Legend's every mission, scenario, storyline and NCP since he was 10 years old. With the information on the game, Ethan collected since his childhood and the numerous rare and unique cards he bought with $1.3 million, reaching the top of the game was only a matter of time for him.

Unfortunately, the creators of the game had already thought of this strategy and added a penalty system and summon loyalty system to counter it. The penalty was such that the players could change their deck 5 times per day. And the summon loyalty system restricted him from using the champions he summoned to the fullest. Due to this penalty and loyalty system, it took Ethan a year to reach the top, if not he would have reached the top of the game long ago.

Fortunately, the tournament did not have such a penalty. And the information of the top contenders for the championship was readily available, all he had to do was search for it. Making it possible for Ethan to reach the finals without much difficulty.

"Thank you, Ethan." Seeing that Ethan was socially impaired the host cut short his interview and kept it to the minimum.

"Before we head to the main event, do either of the stargazers have anything to say to each other. Ted as the senior would you like to go first." The host knew Ethan was not good with words so he asked Ted to take the lead.

"Thank you, Chris. Ethan winning is secondary. Let's have fun and civil gameplay shall we." Putting on a charming smile Ted spoke humble words trying to sell his modest act as he extended his hands for a handshake from his opponent, showcasing good sportsmanship.

"What?! For you may be… my entire savings is dependent on this championship title, I can't lose." Ethan did not shake hands with Ted instead he gave him a double hand thumbs down and yelled, "You are going down, old-timer."

"Thank you Stargazers now please head to your consoles." The host asked Ethan and Ted to head to their gaming station at the centre of the stage. Ted and Ethan were seated opposite to each other, facing the other.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, without any further ado let's head to tonight's main event, the finals of the 25th Card Craft Stargazer's Legend world championship sponsored by Webnovel, fictional stories hub.

As usual, both the stargazers will engage in 5 rounds of player vs player card duel and the Stargazer with the highest wins will take home the championship title." With the host's signal, the countdown began on the jumbotron.

"Stargazer's ready!"

"3.. 2.. 1, Fight!"

"Summon Major Arcana card- Hydra

Summon Major Arcana card- Headless Wyvern Knight

Summon Major Arcana card- Red-eyed green serpent

Summon Major Arcana card- White-eyed blue serpent" Ted summoned his 4 major arcana cards and hid behind them.

Ethan was not slow either, he also summoned 4 major arcana cards and hid behind them too,"

Summon Major Arcana card- Azure Dragon

Summon Major Arcana card- Black Serpent Tortoise

Summon Major Arcana card- White Saber

Summon Major Arcana card- Vermillion Eagle"

"The first round of the 25th world championship final card duel has started and both the Stargazers have summoned their champions.

Ted has started his turn by summoning his strongest champion combo showing that he acknowledges his opponent's strength and is ready to go all out.

On Ethan's side, as usual, he has summoned a new set of champions. Taking the previous duels as examples we can see that Ethan has selected cards to counter his opponent's cards.

But wait, what is this? Is this some kind of mistake Ethan seems to have summoned random champions? Though they all are strong summons this is unlike Ethan who usually summons cards to counter his opponent's cards. Has Ethan changed his strategy for this duel? What is the plan?" The host was baffled to see Ethan not follow the routine and summon a bunch of random strong champions against the undefeated legend, 4-time championship titleholder, Ted Willis.

Ted was also surprised by Ethan's move but soon sneered thinking Ethan made it easier for him to win,"
