Thicker than thieves.

After the raid on Ghou, it was the number one thing talked about in the news. A huge operation in which more than ten Heroes participated? This has not happened in ten years! But most interesting was the appearance of the S-ranked Vigilante Salazar Slytherin.

Of course, there were other Vigilantes of this rank before, but none could escape from so many Heroes. People were surprised by his appearance and the Internet exploded with theories about his identity.

Someone said that he was an old Hero whose license was revoked due to his age, but he continued to work anyway.

Some wrote that he is a Villain who seeks forgiveness for his past sins and tries to atone for his guilt by destroying other Villains.

Others tried to prove that he escaped from his gang and is now destroying their assets. This comment caused one Yakuza chieftain to sneeze and kill another one of his subordinates.

And the most insane ones said that God came down to Earth and punishes Sinners.

But Sirius's favorite theory was the one where he was an alien from another world who decided to do everything right.

But the news stuck to the facts about one Salazar Slytherin. Identity is unknown, has a strange Quirk that allows him to control the natural elements around him - no one told them that Salazar has several Quirks - only attacks the Villains and avoids Heroes. The only one who managed to talk to the mysterious Vigilante is Endeavor, and he usually did not give interviews.

But the most surprising thing for Sirius was that he had a fan club. He certainly hadn't expected this.

'Well, during the Second Wizarding War people considered me a criminal. I shouldn't even be surprised by this shit anymore.'

So Sirius decided to relax a bit and spend the next week at home. He set up protective Wards around his house and in the nearby forest to keep people away from this place. Anyone who can resist the first line of defense will be met with vicious traps and very vicious Basilisks.

Right now, he was reading the work of some old Chef Cook in the basement with Luna. The catgirl sat on his lap and looked at the recipe for muffins.

"Siri, what are you planning to do in the future?"

The sudden question made Sirius pause and close his eyes. What does he want? In his past lives, he always obeyed someone else and it does not matter if it was realized. Yes, his work in the Ministry of Magic helped people and he liked it, but the very thought of going to work in the police force again. . . well, it was quite unpleasant.

"Definitely not a cop. Maybe a teacher? I loved leading Dumbledore's Army in our fifth year. . . Maybe I'll become a family man and raise eight children by the sea."

"It sounds good. There are certainly many strange creatures in the sea, but the air is great."

Sirius raised an eyebrow when he heard that there was something in the sea that even Luna considered strange. But he completely missed that Luna seemed to see herself with him on the shores of this imaginary sea. He scratched behind her ear and the catgirl purred.

"And what's so strange about the sea?"

"Oh, you know, the usual. Deep-sea fish, leviathans, ancient Atlanteans, and one very displeased Dark Lord."

"Heh, I forgot that Voldemort's soul was shoved into a fish. I would've watched the mighty Dark Lord swim away from a barracuda."

Luna quietly laughed at his silly joke and went back to reading, but Sirius was still thinking about her question. He was almost one hundred percent sure that he wouldn't be able to live a normal life, no matter how much he wanted it. He also knew that he simply could not sit still and ignore the suffering of people when he could help. It would seem that the profession of the Hero was shouting to him, but this was enough of that even during his first year at Hogwarts.

'Teaching others to fight was much more fun. And I often learned something new when I read the material for the next lesson. But I'll rip my hair out before I start teaching math to the kids. Would Bang need help in his Dojo? Nah, this old man is scaring away his potential students. Hmm, what to do, what to do. . .'

Suddenly, a rather obvious thought flashed through his head. He even felt kind of stupid that he hadn't thought about it before.

"Do you think I can become a teacher at one of the Hero Schools?"

Luna leaned into his touch and thoughtfully hmmed.

"Well, you have enough knowledge and experience, the only problem I see is that you are still thirteen years old. Even if you look sixteen."

"Hmm, that will be a problem. Do you think we can find enough ingredients for a Permanent Aging Potion?"

"Nope, all gone, remember? Not unless we break into one of the abandoned Pureblood's mansions. They must be preserved with magic - if the wards are still intact."

Sirius thought for a second time today and smiled madly, his rest immediately forgotten.

"Luna, will you rob a mansion with me?"

---

Asukabe was one of the most ancient families in Magical Japan and was far from the last place in the Ministry of Magic. Their specialty was making potions and that is why their home became a target for our two thieves.

They chose one of the family's many houses as their target, avoiding the main house on purpose. If the rumors about them were true, the Wards in the main house would kill them before they could blink. So they weren't going to go there. Yet.

Sirius had created protective suits with oxygen tanks in advance, and Luna carved all the protective runes she knew on them. Since the Asakubes were known for their Potions, it was safe to assume that most traps would be based on various kinds of poisons. If they still haven't gone bad.

So now both Wizards are trying to make a hole in the defensive Wards of this house so they can get through. Here were the typical Muggle-repelling Wards, Identification Wards, and the usual Defensive Wards. The problem was Incinerating Wards, Torturing Wards, Anti-Apparation Wards - and how much Sirius hated himself for forgetting about such a convenient way to get around - Anty-Portkeys Wards, and five other Wards that neither Sirius nor Luna had ever seen in their life.

"This is taking. . . a lot longer than I thought," Luna muttered, wiping sweat from her brow.

The Wizard and the Witch held their Wands with both hands and pure magic poured from them to one point of the barrier.

"What did you expect? An adventure like Indiana Jones? It's monotonous and exhausting work."

What they were doing now can be described as overloading one point in the defense to break it but leaving the rest intact. Something like heating a metal plate at one point with a gas burner until the metal pays off.

Finally, there was the sound of broken glass and the hole was made. Luna immediately fell on her back and began to breathe heavily. Sirius, on the other hand, lay down next to her, also tired, but not as tired as his friend.

"I think I can see Jasmine's face."

"Nope, it's just a cloud."

"Oh. . ." Luna said and closed her eyes. "It's a pretty cloud."

Two Mages just lay there and tried to catch their breath. The only thing that kept them awake was the potion ingredients waiting inside for them.

"How much do we want to age ourselves?" Sirius asked.

"I think ten years. Then I will be twenty-five, in that year I found the first confirmation of the existence of Crumpled-Horned Snorclaks. It was a good day."

"Hmm, in my timeline you found them when you were twenty-three."

"Even better."

Luna rose from the ground and helped Sirius to his feet. The thieves donned their masks and entered the grounds of the Asukabe house.

Their villa had three floors and rather large windows. It seemed that even time had not touched this place, the house still looked as if it had been built just yesterday. The hedges were neatly trimmed and even the rock garden looked untouched.

"This place is just jammed with spells. I'm jealous"

"I'll help you add a couple to our house."

Sirius nodded and stepped forward only to trigger the first trap that. . . did nothing. A colorless puddle appeared on the ground, which did not even begin to evaporate into a deadly gas.

"Well, that was underwhelming," Black muttered as he lowered his Wand. "Almost all poisons have already gone bad. But it's still a bad result, I need to enchant my glasses again."

"Another thing to help you with."

Luna and Sirius kept walking - more careful this time - and the catgirl picked a couple of flowers for herself for the future. She would have put them into her hair, but their masks covered their faces completely, so it was more correct to call them helmets.

They went inside the house, where Luna took the lead.

"Bring out the Expansion Bag and take all enchanted items. Especially the ones that give you the creeps. If the Muggles can find this gap in the Wards, they'll have their heads exploding from these. Literally. I'll cover the top two floors, and you take everything on the first floor, we will rob the basement together."

She smiled brightly and skipped towards the stairs. Sirius just shook his head.

Expansion bags were a nifty piece of magic. Just a couple waves with a Wand and you have a bag that's hundreds of times larger on the inside than it appears on the outside.

'Who would've thought Luna would be so excited during her first robbery.' Suddenly Sirius heard the ringing laughter of his best friend. 'I didn't create a kleptomaniac, did I?'

Fortunately for Sirius, he didn't. But unfortunately for the rest of the people on the planet, he gave Luna a glimpse into the world of theft. And she liked it.

He looked around and decided to start collecting the enchanted items throughout the house. The clock that showed the outside of the house, the self-washing dishes, the small lighter, - which was actually a portable flamethrower - and most importantly, the books. He took everything.

A couple of hours later, Sirius and Luna stood at the basement descent with many things in their bags. They found both dangerous artifacts that were only useful for killing people and some pretty useful protective amulets. But most of the items were simply useless to them.

Sirius opened the door and they were struck by the oh so lovely - not at all - scent of Potions ingredients. The basement was simply huge, even larger than the first floor, and wherever the eye fell, there were someone's plants, claws, brains, blood, or hearts. The teens looked at each other and smiled like loons.

"I really hope there is enough here to make Firewhiskey."

"Are you serious? You have enough of this stuff in your basement to last for ages."

"Yep, but one day my stock will run out."

They dispersed to different sides of the room and began to collect everything that came to their hand.

"Rotten. . . Rotten. . . Stale. . . Useless. . . Oh, would you look at that! It's rotten. Rotten. . . Burned. . . Empty. . ."

The Wizard glared at the damaged runes on the shelves but continued his search. Almost every ingredient on Sirius's side was fucked and he could only hope that Luna would have better luck than he did.

Luna hummed a song under her breath and threw things into her bag. She saw small sources of magic emitting from them and therefore knew that they were still in good condition. And to her great luck, she was even able to find a cabinet with a variety of everyday Potions for every occasion. So her situation was much better.

Luna has never been an ordinary Sorceress. From birth, magic gave her the gift of Mage Sight, so she could see much more than ordinary Wizards.

As a result of their search, Sirius stood at the exit from the house with only eggshells of an Ashwinder, when Luna had dozens of different ingredients. The girl tried to hold back her snickers while looking at Black's pouting.

"Okay, let it all out."

Luna couldn't hold back anymore and laughed. There was not a single magical thing left inside and all that remained to be done was to destroy the Ward stone so that the house became completely normal. Sirius's mood immediately improved after the thought of what people would think when they discover a house that appeared out of nowhere in Gifu. He shook his head and walked to the center of the house.

In there was the Ward stone, which fed all the defenses of the house, so Sirius took one of the useless magic trinkets and poured enough magic into it to create a small explosion. The runes will allow this to last a couple of minutes later than the usual thing and will give them enough time to get away from the explosion.

He Apparated with Luna by his side into the mansion's garden to avoid being hurt by the destruction of the Wards or the possible destruction of the house itself. The girl held his hand after the side-along but was in no hurry to let him go.

And then a couple of minutes later there was a quiet explosion in the house and a bright translucent blue dome appeared around the grounds. It immediately began to crack and glowed brightly before breaking. Parts of it slowly began to float down like rose petals and disappear into thin air.

It was a beautiful scene and neither Sirius nor Luna wanted to leave and just stared at the shards of the fallen Wards.

"Hey, Harry."

Sirius was surprised that Luna was using his old name and turned to look at the girl. But she only gave him a quick peck on the lips and smiled slyly.

"The robbery was perfect for a first date, don't you think?"

Black looked at Luna for a couple of seconds and smiled softly in return.

"You know, I do."

There is no one left in this world who could understand him as well as Luna. Of course, he can tell somebody about who he was and what he did, but the silver-haired catgirl was the only one who would always see him. Real him. And it wasn't possible because of her special pale silver eyes, she just saw him because she wanted to.

Luna, like Sirius, believed that only he understood her, both in this life and in the past. He knew that most of her animals were only metaphors, even if it took days to understand them. He did not see her as a strange and unusual girl who was better avoided, but rather a wise person who could always be relied on.

'Not that Siri often needs to rely on anyone, he likes to do everything himself.' She thought, and her smile softened.

Their special moment was interrupted by the sound of an approaching helicopter, and both gazed with hatred at the fucking flying box of bolts on the horizon.

". . . Let's leave them a gift." Luna suggested and Sirius nodded.

A second later, only an expanded Bag with a small surprise remained in place of the Wizards.

---

The team of Japan's first news channel - by ratings - flew in a helicopter towards a bright flash of light that occurred a few minutes ago. They were very fortunate to be close enough to react and try to be the first on the scene.

Apart from the pilot, there were two people in the helicopter. Reporter and operator. They were so close because initially, they flew to film a Hero-Villian fight which ended faster than they could arrive. So in order not to waste the flight, they decided to investigate this flash, fortunately, the operator managed to capture it.

"We are broadcasting live from Gifu Prefecture, where an unusual flash of light was seen just a few minutes ago. We assume it may be someone's Quirk that is out of control, or there is a battle between unknowns."

The operator pointed the camera on the floor with a transparent blue dome that had already begun to collapse. Seeing this scene even the pilot was stunned. They had never seen something so beautiful in their lives.

". . . If that's someone's Quirk, then I want to meet its owner."

Beneath the collapsing dome was a huge three-story mansion built in the old Japanese style. It was surrounded by gardens and trees and looked too clean to be abandoned.

The reporter pulled herself together and continued looking at the area using her Quirk.

"There! My Quirk allows me to see living creatures as if they were highlighted in yellow light." She pointed in the direction of the garden and the operator immediately directed the camera there.

"Dear viewers, right now I can see two human shapes standing in the center of the garden and not moving. It can be assumed that if this was a fight, then it is already over or one of these people is using their Quirk."

"I can't film them from such a height, fly lower!" The operator shouted to the pilot, who obeyed.

But as soon as they were close enough, the reporter watched as their figures spun and disappeared.

"I can't see them anymore, is this a teleportation Quirk?! Just What's going on here?!"

Seeing that there was no one else nearby, the reporter told the pilot to land and the news team got down to the ground. They quickly reached the place where the two people had disappeared, only to find only a strange bag there.

"We couldn't film the people who were here just a minute ago, but we found a small bag at their departure point. This may be the only clue to their identity. Now I'll try to open it safely to show you what's inside."

Someone might call the young reporter brave, but in reality, she was just overconfident. So when she broke off a stick from a nearby tree - don't do that - and opened the bag with it, she didn't expect it to tear apart. In seconds a mountain of foul-smelling garbage three times her height appeared in its place. It was only by a miracle that the woman was not swallowed by it.

From the smell, the reporter and the operator immediately emptied their stomachs and tried to move away from the pile as far as possible. For a long time, they will not be able to notice the note on which it was written: {This is for interrupting our first date!}
