Half a year had passed since Christmas and Izuku thought that life had finally turned for the better. He has a family waiting for him at home, a teacher of special Martial Arts in which he was finally able to make great progress, Alchemy - which can be considered a High-tear Quirk in itself - and even a teacher on how to create Support Gear! Even if he cannot enter the Hero Course, he can always become a Support Course student.
The last day at school should be pretty calm, apart from a couple of overly aggressive bullies he had to avoid. If he beat them to a bloody pile of flesh, then Principal would just blame him because he's Quirkless. Not that it was okay to beat people up to such a state, but it was these shitstains of society that deserved it.
They somehow reminded him of the Death Eaters that Sirius had told him about. Young, full of hatred and have the illusion of invincibility. The kind of people who die first. Sure, he could always beat them up and call Sirius or Luna to fix these bastards' memories - he've done it before and will do it again - but do that almost every day? No thanks.
The sound of a building breaking down was pulled Midoriya out of his thoughts. His head immediately jerked upward and he noticed that he got too close to the battle between Kamui Woods and the Giant Villain. The Villain stood on the bridge under which Izuku walked towards the school and the green-haired teenager was shocked that this place was not cordoned off by the police.
'What the fuck are these bloody idiots doing?!' He stopped abruptly. 'I hang out with Sirius too much.'
"Illegal use of Abilities during rush hour, as well as robbery and assault? You're pure evil." Kamui announced loudly forcing Izuku to facepalm.
"Hardly counts as evil. . . Desperate? Maybe. Although seeing the size of this idiot, I'm not sure anymore."
The Giant Villain shouted something back but was attacked by wooden branches.
"Pre-emptive Biding Lacquered Chained Prison!"
'Holy fuck that's a long name.'
Suddenly the ground shook and a twenty-meter woman appeared at the other end of the street from Izuku. She leaped towards the Villain, preparing to kick him in the jaw, and Midoriya's eyes widened in understanding.
'This stupid bitch is going to kick it in here!'
Without thinking a second time, Midoriya got into the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist stance and wanted to run away.
"Canyon Cannon!"
But the villain had already received his kick in the jaw and he was flying with great speed right at the teenager. Seeing no other way out, Izuku decided to use what he had been taught.
He touched his wrists and his hands lit up with blue lightning. In a second there were tight gloves from Zeyton-7 on his hands, a rare metal that they are unlikely to find in their universe. He was tight but flexible at the same time, so he had the lightness of leather armor and the protection of a fucking tank. And he will need protection.
As soon as the back of the Giant's head was close enough to Izuku, he smoothly redirected the Villain away from him. He was like a stone in a roaring river that breaks the water. His hand was aching with dull pain, but he was able to push the Giant away from him and stay alive. The Villain landed on the road and left behind him only destroyed asphalt and blood.
Heroine - who wanted to announce her debut as Mt. Lady - noticed the teenager at the last moment and was terrified. Her first real one-on-one battle with the Villain, and she has already killed a civilian. What was her relief when the Villain seemed to have moved off course and crashed into the ground next to the broccoli boy.
"Oh my God! Kid, are you okay?!" Izuku heard the voice of the Heroine knocking out the Villain and frowned.
"A bit late to worry about others, don't you think?"
His hands trembled with tension and he frowned at the pain. The Heroine, noticing this, shrank to her usual height and became a dozen centimeters shorter than him.
"You are injured? How did you get here? This place must be cordoned off!"
She fired questions while rolling up his sleeves - his hands should have suffered if they were shaking - and raised an eyebrow at the sight of the tattoos on his arms.
"Tell that to the idiots who forgot to block the main fucking road."
He hissed and blue lightning passed through his arms, causing his gloves to turn into thick silver bracelets on his arms. Mt. Lady looked at it with her eyebrow still raised.
"Okay, your Quirk allows you to do this. How did you push the Villain away?"
Izuku looked at her and didn't correct her mistake. Alchemy could hardly be called a Quirk, but he can live with it.
"I have been studying under Bang Silverfang for a year and a half, so if you want to send me to the police station for using a Quirk against Villain, then I'm going to disappoint you. I defended myself Quirkless." He yanked his hands out of Mt. Lady's grip and straightened the backpack on his shoulder. "And now I bid you farewell, I have to go to school. I don't want to hear a lecture from a bald bastard again about how such a useless person as I dare to be late."
He turned around, leaving the shocked Heroine behind.
'Shit, I'm snapped. Sirius would have broken my face for giving away information about myself so easily. Now she can find my profile if she wants. Fuck!'
He ran towards the School, hoping he was still in time for class.
---
"You guys are all third-years now. It's time to start thinking seriously about your futures!"
'Put "Sirius Pun™" here.' Izuku thought while listening to the bald teacher with half an ear.
He managed to come to class on time, but unfortunately, this did not save him from the lecture of the teacher he hated. He never helped Izuku when he was threatened or beaten in the hallways of the school and even in the classroom. This piece of shit even provoked others to bully him.
Even after transferring from Aldera Junior High, life hasn't changed much.
"I would hand out these future career forms but I assume you all want to be Heroes!"
Izuku's classmates used their quirks and the teenager had to hold back not to laugh. Some Quirks were so useless for Hero's work that it was ridiculous.
"Yes, you all have wonderful Quirks. But you know that's against the rules to use them in school!"
'Tell that to my back, fuckface. If Luna didn't have Scar-Soothing Potions, then my body would be in a terrible state.'
""Hai, Sensei!"" Mina and Ejiro answered at the same time, making Midoriya smile.
Coincidentally, he was transferred to the same school as Mina along with Ejiro, but until recently they were in different classes, so they had never seen each other before.
"Oh, Ashido, Kirishima, you must both be aiming at U.A. High School, right?"
Izuku's classmates were shocked and the green-haired teenager wondered why they didn't know that these two were preparing for U.A. for, like, three years?
"We're gonna take this School by storm!"
"Y-yeah." Ejiro agreed with a faint smile.
Midoriya looked at his hard friend - pun intended - deep in thought.
'Should I give him to Sirius to be torn to pieces? No, better to Bang, he can train him much better than this magical alchemist. Magical Alchemist. . . Sounds nice.'
"Oh. You're too going to U.A., aren't you, Midoriya?"
All eyes in the class fell on him, but the teenager didn't even twitch.
"Don't worry, teach, I will become a Hero just to rub my Hero License on your face."
'Damn, Sirius definitely rubbed off me.'
"That's the spirit!" Mina shouted, pumping her fist in the air.
This finally broke the stupor of his classmates but no one started laughing. He clearly explained to everyone in the class that it was a bad idea to try to piss him off.
"Good luck. . ." A couple of people muttered good wishes and everyone fell silent.
The class soon ended and the students were sent home and Izuku, along with his two friends, walked towards the arcade. Mina was terrifyingly good at the dancefloor, and Ejiro was pretty good with all the power-based machines, so they loved going to the arcades after class and dragging Izuku along.
"Come on! Why do you go home so early every time?" Mina pouted.
"Because if I'm late, or at least I don't call first, they will stab me, turn into a frog, then transmute this frog into a human, tear off my arms and legs, and only then Karin will say: "Izu-kun, you are late!" And in a half-dead state, I'll have to comfort a crying girl. I don't want that. Not again."
Mina and Kirishima looked at each other and shrugged. Izuku had a rather strange family and didn't talk about them often. They didn't know that Midoriya hadn't been to his blood family home for at least a year.
"So. . . How about a dance-off before you need to go?"
"Oh, you're on, pinky!" He grinned
And then a notebook appeared out of nowhere next to Izuku. The green-haired teenager instinctively caught it out of thin air and opened it to the first page, his friends could only look at it with blank faces.
{Take my order from Shou, I'm too busy today.}
Izuku's eye twitched and he theatrically cleared his throat.
"Mister Sirius Regulus Black, you can honorably suck my magnificent co-" He didn't have time to finish his sentence as the notebook disappeared into a cloud of smoke. "Son of a bitch!"
"Was that someone from your family?" Mina asked snickering in her hands.
"Yeah, the fucking old man thinks it's ridiculous to send everyone else out to collect books and other materials for him. Something about paying for living under his roof."
"Well then, good luck with your adventure, Kiri and I will hang out here a little longer!"
"Yes, yes. If I have time, I'll be back. Have fun!"
Izuku walked away from the arcade machines through the alleys to quickly get to the bookstore. With every turn, there were fewer and fewer people and after a while, he found himself near the old bridge.
'In ten months there will be entrance exams at the U.A., I need to prepare, which means I need to raise my training to keep up with the rest. They just have an advantage, I just need to catch up with them.'
On pure instinct, he jumped from the attack in the back and looked with interest at the one who decided to stab him in the back.
"A medium-sized body. . . To hide in. . ."
The mud Villain stood behind him, breathing heavily. He smelled like gutters and only had huge eyes with oversized white teeth from a human being.
"Okay, you look disgusting."
The mud Villain lunged at Izuku, but he only dodged and stretched both hands towards the mud, touching it only with his fingertips. His tattoos were different from Scar's - that was the name of the Alchemist from whom Sirius copied the tattoos - they were a combined version, so Midoriya could use Transmutation and Deconstruction on both arms. It doesn't make much sense to use an unfinished version of the Circle if you can complete it.
The dirt under his fingers disintegrated into particles and a hole formed in the side of the Villain.
"No, no, no!! You must become my suit! Otherwise, I won't be able to get my revenge on him!"
Izuku examined the Villain's body closely and found an obvious weak point.
"Why should I? And why do you want to get inside the body of a teenage boy? What are you, a pedophile?"
With a cry of rage, the mud leaped at Midoriya, but this time he didn't dodge. He needed a direct blow. With incredible speed for his physique, Izuku grabbed the Villain's eye and Deconstructed it.
Moody's rules - Sirius never told who exactly Moody is, something about that he cannot properly convey his character - to reach retirement:
Rule number thirty-one - hit the vital points of your enemy. Eyes, nose, ears, diaphragm, or joints. As long as you're limiting his possibilities, you're doing something right.
And since the Villain had none of these but eyes. . . Well, Izuku's gone for the eyes.
"AAAAAAGH!"
The villain grabbed his destroyed eye and screamed in agony. If the destruction of his body doesn't bring him pain, then you need to find what does.
Suddenly the same manhole - from which the Villain got out - was kicked out with one blow from the inside.
Rule number one - CONSTANT VIGILANCE!
Izuku immediately touched his wrist bracelets and turned them into two army knives - the same model Azumi had given him for Christmas - and prepared to fight. He followed the movements of the Villain and the movements of something that-come-out-of-the-sewer thing.
"Fear not, kid! I am h- What's happening?!"
All Might came to the scene where a teenager in school uniform stood with two knives in front of the mud Villain. And one of these knives was aimed at the Hero himself!
"I DON'T CARE ANYMORE! I WILL KILL YOU WHILE THERE IS A CHA- kha!"
Rule number five - if the enemy starts babbling, hit them in the plumbs. Teach the idiot that there is nothing to say during the fight.
Izuku just roundhouse kicked Villain in the other eye - since he didn't have plumbs. The dirt flew into the wall and the Villain was left unconscious on the ground.
"Well. . . That was underwhelming."
Izuku muttered, removing the knives from his wrists and secretly using Alchemy to turn them into bracelets.
"Thank you young. . ."
"Midoriya Izuku." The teenager answered and just now turned to look at his late savior. "Holy crap! You're All Might!"
Hero number one smiled brightly and saluted.
"Yes, it's me! Thanks a lot for your help, young Midoriya! I don't think your way of capturing the Villain was the best. . ." He glanced at the now one-eyed Villain. "But it's still brilliant! However, you must remember that you cannot use your Quirk so recklessly!"
Izuku snorted and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Thanks for your concern, All Might, but this rule doesn't work for me. The power of Quirkless is that I can't be arrested for using a Quirk." He smiled brightly and bent over to the Villain to collect his remains in a bottle.
Toshinori Yagi, meanwhile, was shocked. The freaky Kid who himself was able to defend himself from the Villain and even knock him out when other Heroes could not even catch up with him! He had seen this before only in one person, in himself. Maybe he won't have to search long to find a successor for his Power. . .
'What am I just thinking? Yes, he may act like young me, but this is the first time I see him. He may be the perfect successor for One for All a hundred times, but I won't offer him my power just because of this show.'
While All Might was thinking, Izuku finished stuffing the Villain's pieces into the bottle and gave it to the Hero. What was interesting was the scotch tape on the bottle cap. Toshinori only raised an eyebrow when he saw this addition.
"What? There is no guarantee that he won't be able to try to open it from the inside." Izuku shrugged. "If I had time, I would freeze it and throw it in Tartarus, but I need to go to the bookstore."
'Heh, a smart one, aren't ya?'
"Haha! Thanks again, Midoriya! Well, I have to go, the world is not waiting!" With these words, the Number One Hero in Japan disappeared from the alley.
Perhaps if Izuku had grown up in other circumstances, he would have grabbed the Hero as the last straw of hope. He would like to hear from him "You can be a Hero" or shit like that. But Izuku just wasn't that kind of person.
He realized early on that he did not need the recognition of other people, that the opinion of other people is not so important to him. Of course, he was incredibly pleased when his whole family told him that he would become a wonderful Hero, but he did not let this get into his head. He didn't want help out of pity, only mutual help. The Law of Equal Exchange has poured into his life like oil in gears. Smooth and silky.
'So, now Gin moments slip through me. I need more friends than these five. . .' And then his eyes widened in horror. 'KARIN! KARIN WILL KILL ME WHEN SHE FINDS THAT I'VE SEEN ALL MIGHT AND DIDN'T TAKE AN AUTOGRAPH FOR HER! I NEED TO FIND HIM!'
-_-_-_-
Yo.
Today, I can't decide who exactly the OFA's power will go to.
I have Izuku, Lemillion, Mellisa Shield, and a few other characters in my mind who can be worthy to inherit this power. Maybe Toshinori will keep it, who knows? (I. I know.)
You can write your opinion on whom the OFA should go, I will read everything with pleasure.
