Himiko Toga could not say that she had lived a happy life. She didn't remember her childhood well, at least the good parts. But she perfectly remembered how her parents tried to force her to be "normal", as normal as she could ever be.
She couldn't smile because her smile was "creepy" and "unnerving." She couldn't drink blood because only Villains did that. She was supposed to be the perfect daughter and every slip-up was almost fatal.
When she killed that handsome boy and bathed in his blood, part of her mind chose not to return home out of fear. She knew that her parents would kill her before the police arrived.
So she ran away. And she ran and ran and ran.
Himiko also had little memory of her days during the escape. Did she tell the truth when she said she only killed a year ago? Could she kill someone and not even notice?
"How is she?" Toga heard an unfamiliar voice.
The girl - woman? - who spoke sounded. . . a little off. As if she was dreaming.
"Better than Black and Midoriya, that's for sure. One got hit in the head, and the other blew his finger to send a signal to the first! How did this even happen?" An older voice said.
'What happened to them? I. . . I didn't have time to do anything, did I?'
"Well. . . the magic used on the road was pretty crude. It stopped all signals, both normal and Magic. But Sirius's Magic is special, it can't be stopped. So the Old Withes Spell did the second best thing, she redirected some of the Magic back to the ring. This shouldn't happen."
'Magic? He- he talked about Vampires before. If the magic is real, then. . . What will they do to me?'
Toga heard nothing for a couple of minutes. She thought that the girl and the kind old woman had left the room, but then someone else spoke up.
"I still can't believe you and Sirius have Magic! Even if you put Sho's bones back in place with a wave of your Wand."
"Nezu didn't know? I thought Chimera had already told everyone about our secrets."
". . . Well, he assumed you had something other than Alchemy and Quirks, but Magic? It's hard to believe. Even if you helped put Aizawa's bones back in place with a wave of a Wand."
"Oh, it wasn't really me, the Nafostertes helped a lot. Invisible creatures that feed on pain, they show pretty well where a person's wounds are."
"I don't even know if it's true or if you're pulling my leg. . ."
"But back to Himiko. Do you have enough blood?"
If Toga could move, she would've flinched.
"Yes. . . Poor soul, I hope she doesn't develop hemophobia. Even if now she has enough, in the future she will need to drink more."
Himiko didn't know what to think. All her life she was told that drinking blood is not just bad, it is a sin that only the worst kinds of people commit. And now someone was worried that she would be afraid to drink blood. . ? Not about the fact that she wants to drink blood?
It's good that Himiko had nine more days in a coma, she definitely needs time.
