BACK IN THE DEEP BLUE LAKE

" Lijah your sister is so cute." Caroline spoke as she pinched Leah's cheeks for a long minute. Oh poor thing! Leah's eyes were hungry for blood! .

" Caroline, it's already late. Should I take you home?" I had to save my sister! And also, I think it's the best thing to do now.

She looked confused for a second.

"I thought I was allowed to visit your room, but it's ok, maybe next time. And I'll walk home by myself, it's just five blocks away."

"No, I'll take my cycle."

I cycled Caroline home. Her parents stared at me from the window. Of course they know my history.

I reached the turn and that's when I remembered, the 'Deep Blue Lake'. Where all of it started!

I took the straight path leading to the Lake, you know, to cherish few memories.

I parked my cycle on it's stand and sat on the usual rock. The place was so silent with only the sound of the lake kissing the stones. I sat with my back resting on the rock and eyes closed.

A girl wearing blue long skirt. What I saw was my future! The blonde hair covering her face. How can I ever love someone else other than her!

I sat there thinking about her. Thinking about how obsessed I am!

"Li" I heard her sound from behind. Her calm voice!

That seemed so realistic!

"Li, what are you doing here?"

Well, this is more than realistic. I turned and was surprised to see her standing a little far from me.

" Amanda? What are you doing here?" I blurted out.

"Well, I come here often." She replied, still looking shocked.

"Oh! I just felt like to come here." I said.

She walked closer and sat next to me. Then, she slowly held my hands and asked,

"Do you ever miss me?"

Do I miss her? I was drowning in the waves of missing her.

"Sometimes." I replied.

She sat there without responding anything. Just focused on the lake.

" Do you miss me?" I asked.

"Sometimes in the middle of the dark." She replied.

I slowly held her hands making her turn to me. Her eyes longing for me, her lips wanting me.

" I missed you in every breath." She whispered to my ears.

I slowly moved my lips closer to hers. A soft breeze passed for a small second. It felt like the nature was waiting for this moment. It felt so unreal. The thought of my tongue tangling with hers made a heat in the atmosphere around me.

I slowly pressed my lips against hers, making her close her eyes. She then slowly parted her lips for my tongue to slip in. I caressed her hair while we shared a single breath. You could kiss any girl, and you would feel the same with everyone, except that one girl. And that is her.
