Chapter 17 Short Chapter

"yea I'm ok" Raidon

"are you sure, Raidon. you don't seem ok" Isamu askes

Raidon doesn't answer

"I just...don't like when Juro calls me that....it brings back memories of my mom" Raidon put his head down and says in a lowly voice.

"I'm sorry, I should have stopped Juro from calling you that" Isamu said

"It's not your fault Isamu, I shouldn't have yelled" Raidon says

"Well...do you wanna talk about it more? Did your mom call you that when you was little?" Isamu ask

"Yeah, Ha. She would call me Ray all the time. She had a really sweet voice. Her singing was beautiful and I remember when my mother used to sing to me at night before bed....I miss her" Raidon says, smiling

Isamu rushes to give Raidon a hug. He looks up at Raidon and says

"It's ok Raidon, I will always be there for you. Through thick and thin, I promise"

"Hahah, Um, thank you Isamu. You make a lot of...wait what is that." Raidon points at the something in the corner of the hallway.

"um where...I don't see anything." Isamu says,, confused

"uuuh never mind, I must be seeing thing...I don't know." Raidon says, nervously

"Are you guys done snuggling yet." Aimi said behind them

Isamu and Raidon pull off each other and turn to Aimi.

"I..I can ex..explain Aimi" Isamu says

"ugh come on Isamu you don't need to explain. I was standing there the whole time watching you and Raidon flirt.." Aimi said

"WE WAS NOT!" Isamu yelled

"Well, you better hurry and get your stuff Isamu. Class is almost over. Oh and your face is looking like a tomato." Aimi said

Isamu covers his face

"Um I guess I'll see you at lunch" Isamu says while going into the classroom.

"See you later" Raidon waves

Raidon leans on the the wall

"That kid really makes a lot of promises." Raidon mumbles, smiles "cute"
