TO THE HUMAN WORLD

"Do whatever you are supposed to do."

"Uhh?" Lia looked at him confused as she was pushed to the banyan tree which was one of the oldest in the realm.

"Isn't this the portal that you were talking about? The portal which would take us to the human world?" Noah asked looking around hesitantly to make sure no one would come in between.

"Y-yes." She stuttered looking back at him and all he did was a nodding.

The nod was so powerful that all the words and arguments that she planned, easily died. One side of her heart wanted to stay back and get back at Oliver but on the other hand, she wanted to leave with Noah from all the people who mistreated her. No one believed her or cared for her how much ever she tried to explain to them. Her innocence was ignored and even if she would try again, the outcome would be the same.

"Quick." He insisted as he held her hands and pressed it slightly tight.

"I can't come with you. This is my place and it is my responsibility to lead my pack." Lia tried once again even though she knew, there is nothing much she could do.

"There is nothing that you can do now. You can't fight back as you are pregnant and Oliver would do anything to put you back in cell. I don't want you to go back to the cell after I sacrificed my life."

"Hmm, but I would return once I give birth." She said rubbing her stomach softly.

It didn't take much time for them to leave the realm where they lived for the past few centuries. Lia said a spell and revolved around the banyan tree and spilled some chants which he of course couldn't figure out. But soon there was a white circle forming in the air and some sparkles falling through it, indicating it is their door to freedom. Lia stood questioning her actions because it was against the rule to leave the realm when they are still werewolves. But Noah pulled her hands and walked into the circle.

The place was really quiet and the sound was literally the same as in the realm. The birds chirping and animals roaring and groaning really close to their ears. Noah was the one who opened his eyes smelling the freshly cut meat in front of him. For his surprise, he found himself in a cage, totally trapped. He looked to the side and saw another wolf sleeping peacefully next to him and then another.

He looked at himself and found that he was in his wolf form, but much bigger than the others. He was paranoid noticing that he was locked in there with some strange wolves and Lia was not anywhere to be found. He had no idea what to do, felt it was the end of everything. He didn't know that, he would be trapped in here all on his own.

"Noah." He heard his name being called softly from the back end.

His eyes sparkled seeing Lia standing there with a new pair of dress which was not familiar to him. She was crying? That was what he noticed at first but quickly went to her side and looked at her as if he was waiting for another command to move. She started crying seeing him behind the bars and no way to help him out. She was equally confused and the place was new to her as well as him, the people were strange, the things and surroundings were to. It was scaring her so much that she wanted to hug him right there.

"We need to go from here. I am scared on my own, the people here are so strange." She spoke while trying to touch his furry skin.

Noah groaned very softly as he pressed his face, to the iron bar helping her reach him. He felt relieved at the touch and suddenly felt safe, home. He closed his eyes and melted into her touch and all the words she spoke broke his heart more and more. It was him who forced her to come with him and now she is outside, trying to fight the world.

"If you change to human form, can't you get through the bars?" Lia asked with hopeful eyes and he nodded.

"Not now, maybe by night. We need to go tonight or else these people would hurt you. I will stay here till then, I am not able to stay here like this without you." She said but then few people approached them.

"Ma'am, it is not safe to touch an animal. They are dangerous." The man said beating the iron cage with a wooden rod.

"No no, don't hurt them." Lia suddenly shouted pulling her hands from the iron bars.

"They won't get hurt with this rod. They are wolves, they can endure these pain. You need to come with us so that we can help you to the authorities. They need to ask some questions about the things happened."

Noah growled at the people as he was not ready to let her go from him. Lia looked at Noah and signed him to control his anger, slowly changing her focus back to the men.

"See, there is nothing I need to talk. I am fine and that is all."

"Sorry ma'am, but you have to do this. This is the rule and especially this wolf is not the normal breed we could see so the authorities has to report this." The man spoke again ignoring the wolf which was grunting and hissing.

"So? It is not like, I own him. I some how woke up next to this animal. I don't know anything else." She answered as anger started taking over.

Noah on the other hand felt bad hearing the way, she talked about him to the people. Lia was acting as if he is stranger to her but that is the only thing she could do in that situation. She can't ever let them know he can be a human too.
