Chapter 94 - D-Day

"So General Philips, any change on the situation?", I asked walking into the Command Center.

"Nothing major, their numbers are slowly disappearing somewhere. We have used those drones your friend Jeong unlocked to survey the area, they aren't encircling us based on what we see.", he replied as we arrived at the center table, "As you saw when you flew in, the situation here is still very bad."

"I understand, they can use magic to move to places instantly", I warned, "Make sure the bases stay on full alert when the fighting starts. They may attack them to split us up."

Agreeing to notify the bases of my warning, he slid several reports to me. When it came to the Archdemon they called, The Blob, they had very little on it. Apparently people that stared at him too long had psychotic episodes and nightmares. I would take him out pretty much immediately when the fighting starts so he wouldn't cause too much trouble.

Other details they provided were of little use against our current enemy. Phillips was viewing this battle like he was fighting the Ridden, but this was far more dangerous. He was taking this as seriously as he could, but he just didn't see the big picture. This battle would be hard for normal people to win, so I knew I had to pull as many enemies towards me as I could.

Passing along the information to relevant parties, I confirmed with them that they would be ready for tomorrow morning. After a brief conversation with Phillips about what came after the fight, I head back to my tent. Finding my lovers in the middle of cleaning and preparing their equipment, they all looked excited for this to finally end. Piña's group was the most excited though because we would be going over to their world once the enemy was eliminated here.

"So you are going in alone?", Rory asked.

"Yep, it's safer for me to go in alone.", I chuckled enhancing her Halberd so she could help out more.

"You saying we can't handle close quarter combat?", Saeko laughed.

"No, it's just if my hunch is right there is a much larger enemy beneath the city. Conventional weapons and even the magical ones I made for all of you are not very effective.", I remarked.

"I don't recall seeing an enemy like that before?", Renka pointed out, "You know a lot more than you are telling us."

"Depending on how this plays out, you may find out why.", I admitted as I patted her head, "I am asking you to trust me on this."

"I am not saying you aren't trustworthy, it would be nice if you told us though.", Renka replied.

Promising to let them in on the secret after this fight, they agreed to trust I knew what I was doing. They didn't need to know that I was reincarnated, but they did need to know I had connections with higher powers along with the work I'd be doing after all of this. Since I would be jumping around world to world helping settle disputes, they needed to know about it before I'd end up in the doghouse.

Helping them prepare their equipment for the rest of the day, we went to bed early so we were ready to go at dawn.

---Next Day---

Opening stationary portals in key locations around the area, all available naval forces we had were locked and ready for fire support. The Air Force Bases we had visited were ready to deploy aircraft as well, and they had all their ground forces ready for any ground attacks. As for the ground forces near the city, the use of magic sped up our defensive build up, and had given us a better degree of protection that Phillips initially thought.

"So when do you want us to start?", Ford asked.

"I am going to come down on that large freakshow with a MOAB. Using magic I will make sure it hits him straight on without interference. Once he dies the enemy will definitely make their move. As soon as they clear the city limits, start lighting them up. I will focus on locating any sort of portal to where ever they are coming from, and closing it.", I said changing my expression to a serious one, "In the event there is a massive enemy under the city, do not engage it. Leave it to me."

"You think their is an enemy under there?", Jeong asked.

"It's the only explanation for the bulge and it's movements. If it's what I think it is, none of you will be able to harm it really.", I told them.

"We will take your word for it, and worry about the small fries.", Payne stated.

Nodding my head, my family and headed to the B-17. Equipping my armor, I left my helmet off for the time being so I could give everyone a hug and a kiss. Telling them to watch each others backs, I wanted everyone to come back home tonight.

"Oh?", Chun-Li asked with a smirk, "Is there something good happening?"

"We will need to celebrate, and of course there is really only one way to do that.", I chuckled with a wink.

"Hehe, I like the way you think!", Juri said giving me a thumbs up.

Smacking her on the butt as several of us went to the plane, Juri squealed like a little girl. Cracking up at that response, the other Street Fighter women thought that was the funniest thing she had done. Rubbing her butt, Juri told them to leave her alone and promptly returned to the frontlines.

Getting the plane up and in the air I had people manning the guns, Oriha in the bombardier station, and Yoko at the helm with me. Having opted to pull my family from Alaska to help man the guns, I had given them a crash course in how to operate the guns. As for the children, Clark thankful said he could ensure their safety on his world till this was over.

"You can do this, I have full faith in you.", I told Yoko.

"Thanks, I am going to need all the faith I can.", she laughed dryly, "I still am not really confident in flying this thing."

"Oriha, make sure you do your best and give them hell.", I said walking towards the bomb bay doors.

"Aye sir!", Oriha replied with a serious look, "I...I won't let you down! I will show all of you that I am just as reliable as everyone else!"

Giving her a thumbs up, she opened the bomb bay doors as we drew near our initial target. Waiting for Oriha to give me the green light, a few moments later she shouted at me to drop. Doing as she said, I jumped out of the doors and started my descent. Pulling a MOAB out of storage, I aimed it straight at the Archdemon.

Sensing my approach, the Archdemon's attention shifted towards me. Launching a barrage of fireballs and lightning at me, I snapped my fingers and removed them. Seeing it's attacks vanish , the Archdemon roared like a beast of burden and the city came to life as the Demons and Undead rushed to try and shield it. Launching more fireballs and lightning at me, I pulled out one of recent purchases.

---3rd Person POV---

"What the hell is going on!?", Oriha shouted, "Why is my hair standing up!?"

"The sky just started crackling with lightning for some reason.", Yoko said watching lightning start dance across the sky.

Down on the ground, the defense forces watched the sky come alive.

"What is going on?", Piña asked.

"Victor brought out a God Weapon.", Rory said with a smile.

"A God Weapon?", Phillips questioned.

"You may want to hold on to something.", Rory said firmly planting her Halberd into the ground.

Seeing the large axe Victor was holding start to draw in lightning, he threw it down at the horde with a great deal of speed. Watching the axe absorb all the attacks being launched at him, the axe cut through the enemies like butter vaporizing everything that didn't move out of its way. When it hit the ground a gigantic lightning bolt dropped down from the sky that blinded everyone who had been watching.

"My eyes!", Shandy shouted rolling on the ground.

Hearing the ear piercing shriek of the Archdemon following that, those that hadn't been blinded saw the massive scorch marks on the enemy. A few moments later Victor appeared over it and slammed the MOAB point blank into it's face. The enemies that had managed to escape the lightning were blown to pieces as the pressure wave bulldozed through them. A moment after that, the shockwave hit the ground forces and B-17.

"You sure you can keep us in the air!?", Laura shouted over the radio as the plane shook violently.

"I will keep this in the air!", Yoko spat, "Just focus on shooting!"

As their senses returned to them, the ground forces refocused on the situation in the city. Seeing the massive crater where the Archdemon had been, they found the host in the city moving on Victor.

"Why aren't they coming here?", Phillips asked, "They were supposed to spread out!"

"Victor killed one of their nobles, they are out for blood.", Rory replied dusting herself off.

"Wait, you mean he knew that!", Walker shouted.

"He most certainly did, he knew we weren't equipped to really fight them.", Rory laughed, "He's doing it himself, be ready to support him though. When they realize they aren't even in his league, they will mostly likely come this way."

"Damn that brat, if he knew that he should have said something.", Phillips spat.

Grabbing Stormbreaker, Victor started dropping massive bolts of lightning on the enemy vaporizing anything hit by them. Fling it at them again, he pulled the Chains of Chaos out of storage and started to use them to massacre his way towards the city. Walking through the blood, bodies, and guts Victor kept pushing through the enemy like they weren't even there.

Firing on the enemies that were trying to get behind him, the allied forces started chipping away at the enemy. Wanting to get in to help him, Maya and Saeko were about to run off when the ground started to shake violently and split apart. Watching the city start to rise up off the ground, everyone stood there looking at what was coming out of the ground.

"What the fucking hell!!", Karin gasped, "It's enormous!!"

"Now I see why he said to leave it for him...", Ken laughed trying not to let his fear show.

Seeing a massive fifty story tall Titan emerge from the ground, it let out a roar that made the very air vibrate. In the plane, Yoko and the crew were at a loss for what they were seeing. Understanding why Victor had told them not to draw it's attention, even Oriha didn't want to attack it with the bombs they had.

"He's going to be okay, right?", Wakasa asked over the radio, "I really don't want to be a widow again."

"He will be fine.", Cammy said, "Have a little faith in him, he has more than enough strength to fight it."

"I hope so.", Shizuka stated, "It looks really mean."

At the military bases and at the settlement, portals began opening as Undead and Demons started to pour through. Ready for the attack, the defense forces clashed with them almost immediately. As for the settlement, the Black Label team turned on the Energy Shield that Victor had them rush to complete.

"Keep them off the barrier!!", Hazama ordered.

"When I signed up for the JSDF, I didn't think it would lead to this...", Itami complained.

"Shut up, man up, and fight!!", Kuribayashi shouted smacking him on the back of the head, "If they get through...they might destroy your collection."

"Oh crap your right!!", Itami stated pushing passed her, "I am not letting them get through!!"

"Seriously...that's what it took...", Kuribayashi sighed.

"Haha!!", Hazama laughed, "We all have things we want to protect...even if it's a bit weird."

Back at the main fight Victor looked up at the Titan, and saw the name plate.

'So Davoth used my father to revive The Titan.', Victor thought seeing The Titan (Albert Wesker) name for the creature.

"Victor, you going to be okay?", Saya asked over the radio, "That thing is huge!"

"I got this, everyone stay away from it this is a personal fight.", Victor told them.

"Victor!!", Titan roared at me as it stared me down, "I will kill you!! You caused this to happen!!"

"Don't blame me you sick bastard!! You did this by making a deal with Davoth!!", Victor refuted, "If you had just accepted your death by my Meteor Strike, this wouldn't have been a problem!!"

Rushing forward as Titan came towards him, Victor used the Blades of Chaos to butcher the enemies in front of himself. Tearing the ground apart as he came for Victor, Titan wasn't the least bit concerned with his allies as he crushed them under his mass. As Victor crossed through the barrier, Victor switched from the Blades to the BFG-9000.

"Suck on this you bastards!", he shouted firing the weapon.

Expecting to get caught in the blast, everyone watched the blast crash into an invisible barrier. Asking Lelei if this was the work of Victor's magi, she shook her head no.

"No, it looks like it's caused by something else.", Lelei said sensing a higher power made the barrier, 'Is Victor an Apostle of a God from this world? It would explain a lot of things if he was.'

Roaring in pain, The Titan stumbled back as it's body started to regenerate.

"You have to kidding me, it can regenerate!!", Howard shouted.

"Now I get why he wants to do this alone.", Saeko stated, "Victor has the same regeneration as that thing."

"He's going to have a lot of explaining to do.", Yuko sighed in frustration, "Either way, it looks like we will get our wish. The enemy is running towards us to escape their fight."

Seeing a massive host of enemies running towards them, Phillips told the Air Force to mobilize now and for the ships to begin firing. Telling them they would do what they could, they were dealing with their own invasion at the moment. Up in the B-17, Yoko was banking the plane to come around for a bombing run.

"Oriha we are starting our run!", Yoko shouted.

"I got it, keep the flying ones off of us!", Oriha ordered those manning the guns.

"We know!", Yuriko said, "Also you should talk with more respect for your elders!"

"Oh bite me!", Oriha laughed.

"How do we make the guns go pew pew again?", Shizuka asked.

"Ugh, why didn't you listen to Victor this morning?", Saya complained, "It's the bright red trigger, make sure you point the gun at the enemy first!"

"Oh yeah.", Shizuka giggled, "Sorry, I had a moment."

"You have a lot of those every day.", Rika snickered from the ground over the radio.

"Rika!!", Shizuka pouted puffing her cheeks out.

"Ladies, we have a job to do.", Saeko stated over the radio, "Focus, Victor is relying on us to hold the line while he fights that thing. Let's show him that he doesn't need to coddle us so much."

"Right!", the women shouted.

In the ruins of the city, Victor was shooting at Titan with the Chaingun. Aiming for the face, Titan found it difficult to keep looking at Victor. Even though it was regenerating, it didn't mean that it wasn't feeling the pain of having it's flesh torn apart.

"Damn you!!", Titan howled.

"Fuck you!!", Victor spat in anger, "This shitstorm is all your fucking fault you bastard father!! You help Davoth fuck this world over for your own selfish greed!!"

"Humanity was flawed and needed a reboot!", Titan replied.

"You are human to you jackass!! You'd have fucked it up just as badly as the first humans did!!", Victor shouted switching weapons again, "You aren't a god, stop believing you know what is best for humanity!! Your actions have led to the deaths of billions of innocent people!!"

"A child wouldn't-"

"Thinning humanity down to a few thousand Umbrella Employees wasn't going to work!!", Victor spat, "You know damn well Davoth wasn't going to honor your agreement. He turned his thriving world into literal Hell because of his desire for immortality!! His world was sealed off to stop his conquest for immortality!!"

"I had means to kill him if he betrayed me!!", he refuted.

"He is a literal God!!", Victor shouted, "You couldn't have killed him, only another God can kill him!!"

"How do you intend to end him then?", he laughed.

"The same way I will end your miserable life.", Victor replied pulling several in-flight missiles out of storage.

Crashing into Titan, it howled as the missiles tore it's flesh apart. This time though the injuries didn't start to regenerate. Noticing that, the Titan became even more enraged. Having used the same energy that Crucible uses to fill the missiles, the Titan's regeneration property was being inhibited around the impact sites.

"What did you do!?", Titan howled.

"I know your weakness, this was already set and match.", Victor stated, "Now I hope you are ready for one of my trump cards.

Pulling a large sword out of his storage, lightning danced from the blade. Pointing it at Titan, the beast felt the monstrous power contained within the blade. Seeing the blade from afar, Rory smiled with delight.

"A God Killing Blade.", Rory said decapitating several Undead.

"A God Killing Blade?", Shigure asked.

"A blade forged for the purpose of draining a God's power, and rendering them mortal.", Rory stated, "I will have to ask to borrow it to get rid of Hardy."

Tearing it's own flesh off to rid itself of the Crucible energy, Titan started to regenerate again. Running towards Titan, Victor readied the blade to pierce the creature through the heart. If the Blade of Olympus had the power to strip the Divinity from a God, it would work on stripping the Divinity that Davoth had put in the beast to give it power. Sensing the threat the blade held, Titan knew he had to do something to stop him. Knowing better than to take him head on, Titan roared ordering it's minions to rush the normal humans in a suicide attack.

Sensing the desperation from the Demons and Undead, the allied forces tightened their ranks to hold the enemy back. Unfortunately the numbers were simply too much for them to fight with what they had. In a matter of minutes, the Allied Forces were becoming overwhelmed.

"We aren't going to hold!!", Howard shouted firing his machine gun into the horde, "Start falling back!!"

"We can't we have to hold the line!!", Phillips barked, "We won't out run them!! This is our time to make a stand or die trying!!"

Even though Victor had improved their stats and armor, his group were still only mortal. In the face of such an onslaught they were becoming exhausted quickly and were starting to falter. If it weren't for the constant stream of enemy reinforcements, they could have rallied to finish the enemy horde.

"Damn...", Ryu panting trying to catch his breath.

"It's been an honor gentlemen!!", Nathan said loading his last clip into his pistol.

"We go out as fighters.", Zangief stated.

"Victor, we need help!", Saeko said for once in her life, "We aren't going to hold out much-"

A loud cracking sound rang out all of sudden, and in an instant the enemies vanished from sight. Stumbling back in shock, the Allied Forces looked for the enemy.

"Where did they go!?", Howard asked looking for enemies, "I don't see any of them."

"The enemies here are gone too!!", Jeong reported over the radio.

"Same here...where did they go?", Ford asked.

"That brat do something over the top again?", Payne questioned.

"Haha!!", Rory laughed falling on her butt, "Victor erased them all! I had no idea he was hiding so much Divine power!!"

"Divine Power!?", Piña gasped, "Are you saying he is a God?!"

In the city, Titan felt overwhelming pain as Divine Power and it's regeneration were locked in a fight. Looking at Victor, Titan saw two piercing red eyes glaring at it with murderous intent. Even the glare of Davoth wasn't nearly as terrifying as what it was feeling.

"I told Davoth what would happen if he went for my family!", Victor growled, "Since you want to test my temper, you can tell Davoth how much this hurts!"

Raising the sword up, a large vortex of lightning started to form over the city.
