Chapter 17

I left very early to open the restaurant. To be exact, I did that just to avoid that man.

I just arrange things and read menu book. When my assistant came, I prepare breakfast for that man and let him send to the house.

It was a job I did for him every day but for today I was angry about yesterday incident.

In the afternoon, Preed and Aom crashed by at my restaurant,

Preed was happy of my help to Aom,

“You promised to help Aom, right?”

Sanun nodded,

“Yeah, this lady is pushing my button to help her. You also told her, huh!”

Preed smile devilishly,

“Oh, I cannot help her so you should. You have also done once.”

Aom added,

“Yep, you did have experience! You are now expert and we have to request you.”

Sanun gesture that he gave up, raising his both hands,

“Yeah yeah, you guys trust and praise me a lot but if something wrong, do not blame me or do not let your hubby kill me.”

Aom laughed out loud,

“Why would he kill you?”

Preed also nodded,

“Yeah, why would he?”

Sanun chuckles,

“I am afraid he would kill me if something wrong with your wedding.”

Preed teased him,

“If so, he would face with Atid, I think. HAHAHA”

Sanun shook his head,

“Ah…count him out.”

Aom ask by surprise,

“By the way, tell me about your husband, how do you meet him? He is so cool and handsome.”

Sanun and Preed look at each other. This is going to be a long story to tell her. Well since she is our childhood friend, let her know about that and our conversation took too long with food and laugher. Sanun also talked about yesterday event.

Aom is worried; she wants to resolve instead,

“Omg, so he misunderstood us. It is not good, I can explain to him.

Sanun shook his head,

“Why should we explain when we are not as what he thinks?”

Preed smiled,

“I have another view that he misunderstands this. May be he has interest in you.”

Aom also agree in Preed’s view,

“Yeah, jealousy means there is something for you.”

Sanun laugh dryly,

“No way. Annoying me is just his hobby. He is ignorant of me but when someone has interest in me, he might not like it.”

Preed thought of something,

“Guys, I have an idea.”

Aom is quite suspicious of Preed’s idea,

“Oh you are smiling creepily, and it makes my eyebrow shaky.”

Preed shyly chuckles,

“Ha-ha, it is obvious?”

Sanun frown,

“What kind of strange idea you have?”

Preed suggested,

“Let's see, you and Aom would be busy preparing wedding together and you guys would hang out a lot. Do not tell him that you are helping Aom out. Let him follow you.”

Sanun is shocked,

“No way. Like he would follow and check out on me. It is impossible. He would even pray that I would get hitched with Aom. So he can be free.”

Preed shook his head,

“Nah…he doesn't want that to happen. That's why you guys quarrel last night. Let him get jealous. You have to be patient and endure his jealousy. Just do not tell him that you are helping her.”

Aom shrink her shoulders and not up for that idea,

“I don't want to meddle up things. I am afraid he would punch me, lol.”

Sanun also agree,

“Well, even though I am ok, it is not good for Aom.”

Preed added,

“Leave it to me. I will also talk to Phi Chakri and make our team in unison.”

Sanun frown,

“Why Phi Chakri got involved? You guys are that close???

Preed halts like he got caught in something,

“Ah... it’s ...ah…”

At the same moment, the one who got mentioned appear,

"Preed!"

Sanun turn around and greeted politely,

“Oh, Phi Chakri! Phi got here while we are talking about you.”

Chakri smiles elegantly,

“What are you talking about me?”

Preed cut the conversation, and got up,

“Well, I will explain later. Let us go. Bye!”

Sanun is confused by his action,

“Hey, we are still talking, where are you going?”

Preed is even now at the door, about to leave, while grabbing Chakri’s hand,

“Just do as what I said. Let leave it to me!”

Chakri is also confused by their talks,

“What are you saying?”

“Just come. Bae will tell you later.”

Preed hurriedly dragged Chakri and left with car.

Sanun confusedly asked Aom,

“I misheard or did he say Bae by himself?”

Aom replied in surprise,

“No, I heard the same. I froze. Who is he?”

Sanun answered,

“He is Phi Atid's best friend. So, we got close like that.”

Aom is still shocked by Preed’s action,

“That Casanova is now going for flower boy?”

Sanun shrink his shoulder,

“No idea, I think he might go for boy as Phi Som Phon said. He might marry a man.”

Aom laughed,

“Well, it is happening already I think as he is calling himself Bae & Bae.”

Ha-ha, two of us gossiped about Preed and laughed together. Childhood friend means even though we were apart for years, we are close by heart. All those love, care and attachments existed are still there for us intact. I have to retell everything while Aom was away and reminiscing things with laughs.

"Oh, you guys look so much happy"

A cold sounding voice cut through our laughter. When I turn back, I could meet burning sharp eyes. I could sense the color of anger behind those looks.

Sanun is surprise by his sudden appearance,

“Phi how come you are here?”

Atid smirks,

“Why? Can I not pay a visit to my wife's workplace?”

“Phi!!!”

Sanun can tolerate his retorts and tease when they are alone by themselves but calling like that in front of Aom is just insults for him.

Sanun hurriedly change the topic before further insults come,

“Phi, you come to pick me up, huh? Let's go home!”

It is best to drag him out before things get worse and Sanun wish him not to go against with Aom.

Atid shook off Sanun’s hands dragging him,

“Why are you in hurry? Isn't it you guys in great talk. I can hear your laughter from the outside of the restaurant. Good for you that there are only few guests here today.”

Atid join and sit at their table.

Sanun notices that atmosphere is not fine from hearing Atid's sarcastic statement. Well, Sanun has to make situation better.

Sanun tried to change topic,

“We are talking about Preed. He just left and we are gossiping behind his back.”

“Oh really...?”

When Atid look at table, he found unfinished dishes and evidence of three portions, so Atid accepted his words.

Atid asked,

“Then Preed is wise enough to give time just for you two.”

Atid is not easy man. If he got over one thing, he would come up with another to continue to assault you.

Sanun sigh,

“Phi Chakri came and picked him up. I didn't notice that they are that close. Do you also know about that Phi?

Sanun is out of idea to save the situation so he used the topic of Preed and Chakri.

*Sorry Preed, explain it by yourself later* He apologize Preed internally,

“Oh Really?”

This time, Atid got right hit by Sanun's words. Atid got confused.

*What the hell did he do with Preed, and make up things again?* Atid thought himself,

Atid said,

“I will ask him later. Let's go home. Come!”

It is Atid's mind. Like that, in a second he is sitting and annoying but now he wants to go back immediately. Sanun makes an eye gesture to Aom to signal the leave and run after Atid to catch up. If not, another insult will come.

Aom is just laughing seeing the two's situation.
