12. Dark Hole

Won's POV

Today is Friday and Peter and I will have our bar opening located at the Boulevard. It is a perfect spot since there is a restaurant across the street in the commercial building a few blocks away. We came up a name which is "Dark Hole Bar".

Dark hole is a five star bar which looks like a mansion outside and the inside is very cozy with a grand staircase going to the second floor where VIP rooms are situated.

There are a total of five rooms upstairs. One is exclusive for us that made up of tinted glass where you can see everyone inside the bar but they can't see you even a bit in the inside. Chandeliers are everywhere also with a big stage where people can use anytime.

We are gonna start at eight pm sharp and it's now quarter to eight so everything is ready with the bouncers who will be checking at the entrance, the waitresses and waiters ready to take an order. The DJ who will gonna blast the stage soon and the bartender who's busy mixing drinks.

Everything is set.

This place was Peter's idea. Actually, I don't know a lot about this, so I gave Peter the free will to do all of this and now that it's done, it's time to check and you know just making sure that everything is alright. Peter my ass. Huh.

I glance at my watch and it says eight o'clock in the evening and saw the throng of people starting to crowd the bar. It means a success so far then I saw Peter going up the stage with a microphone in his hand. He's going to start the opening party. When Peter shouted ' let the party begin', I went back to our exclusive room to observe them from there. It seems that everyone is enjoying. I smiled to myself but was stop midway when Peter entered the room with a bottle crystal in his hand.

" Wanna get drunk tonight? " he ask waving the bottle in the air.

" Do you want to? " I asked chuckling.

" Thought you'd never asked bro." He said while pouring as both a glass.

" Who will drive then? "

" We have our own office here, why don't we stay the night. "

I smirk and nodded then Peter went downstairs in a hurry for I don't know the reason. I sip on my drink and is satisfied with it. It tastes heavenly. Just perfect. Not too strong but it can knock down after a bottle. I'm not really worried since my alcohol level is quite high. I turned towards the door when I heard it open, then Peter stepped in with two brunettes on his both sides. Damn. They are hot but not as hot as my woman.

I'm whipped, yeah, I know.

Peter and I look at each other and tried to communicate me to enjoy but I 'mouthed' him a "pass". So he ends up with two girls. Asshole.

Ly's POV

I woke up to my mother waking me up for breakfast with her famous dish and a cup of hot chocolate. Since that day that I had my baby, I stopped drinking coffee until I got used to it already. I take a sip and "hmmmm", this is so good. So smooth and very chocolatey.

" Thanks , Ma. " I said appreciating her.

" Welcome, sweetie." She smiled. I was about to ask if Nari is awake when we both snap our head back hearing those small footsteps. I saw my daughter rubbing the sleepiness out of her eyes. Damn. I hope I was that cute when I was a baby.

There's no harm in dreaming though.

" Morning, baby." I greet while she walks toward us.

" Morning Mommy. Morning MommyLa. " she greets back then kissed us both on our cheeks.

I help Nari sit on her chair then serve her, her warm chocolate drinks and her pancakes. Mother and I starts to dig in. We eat silently when mom broke it.

" Sweetheart " Mom starts.

" Hmmm, Mom? " I asked and looked up to her.

" How was Jenny ?"

" Uhh, she went to a business trip, Ma. " I said and she just nods her head.

" How long will she be away then? " she continued.

" A month. Yeah, she'll be gone for a month. " I smiled at her. " You miss her, don't you? "

" Yeah. I miss that kid. Badly. " and she smiled. Jenny is like a daughter to her. So no wonder if she asks about her if she is around.

I was about to finish my breakfast when my phone rang.

" I need to answer this. " I told my Mom and Nari before getting up. I went to my room and is about to answer it but then it's a missed call already. So I checked the caller ID to see who is it and I'm surprised that it's Jenny so I returned the call immediately. Just two rings past and she answered it but I was greeted by a scream.

" Shit, Jen! My ears for Pete's sake! " I exclaimed through the phone.

" Guess what, Yeish. Come on, come on. " she said excitedly.

" Argh. Fine, what? " I roll my eyes but a smile is evident on my lips.

" My trip was cancelled and I just got home. Can you believe it?! "

" Omg! Really? That's awesome, Jen. " I ask surprised. "

" Yes and I asked my husband to have a girls night with you. So we are going out tonight. Don't say ' NO' woman. We deserve it. " She stated emphasizing it. Wait, did she just threaten me?!

Dang!

" Yah! Why can't I say no? Huh?! And oh, Mom is looking for you. " I said and I heard a squeal in the background.

" Okay babe. Tell Auntie I'll see her later. See you then lovey's. Be ready, alright? Love ya. " she then hung up on me. Damn energy.

I put my phone on my bedside table leaving it there and went back to the dining with a smile.

" Hey, Ma. Guess who called? " I asked with a smile while helping my daughter down.

" Don't 'WHO' me Yeisha. Spill it. " omg. Did I tell you that my mom is so demanding? Ok fine just sometimes. Wait....actually ALWAYS. lol.

" Ok, ok Ma. It's Jen and she'll be here later at five. " I pause and look at her who wears a questioning look on her face. " Nights out tonight?" I added and she smiled. " Hey, why are you smiling? " I ask.

" Just happy that you get to enjoy. And you know darling, you should come out of your shell. I mean you're an adult already and your daughter is old enough for you to enjoy. I think it's time for you to move on. Just go with the flow and let's see what will happen then. " I am surprised of what she said.

" Life is too short and you're not that young anymore. Enjoy every moment while it lasts and you know there's a lot of fishes in the ocean and I'm sure you'll be able to catch one. " She said winking at me. I can't help but to laugh at what she said the latter part though I hug her. I know that she's just looking out for me. I was so touched by her encouragement.

" Thanks, Mom. Will you be okay with Nari later? I know she's not that handful but still I can't help but worry. " I said.

" Of course, dear. We'll be fine. No need to worry, okay? "

" Thank you, Ma. "

" Enough with the drama. You should go now and prepare. Don't embarrass me young lady. Be sure to look 'drop-dead-gorgeous' all right? " Oh damn, Mother Mercy. " Mom!!! " I shouted with a heated face.

" I'm serious! " and she shouted back with Nari in her arms. Oh God. I face palm myself then quickly went to my room to find a dress for later. I open my closet then start picking a few dresses to try later on.
