After all was said and done, Mia and Levi signed the dotted line, and the state officially recognized them as husband and wife without any fanfare in front of a judge. Smiling wickedly, Mia chuckled as Levi drove them both back to the Moon Clan Territory.
"What's so funny?" Levi asked her.
"Nothing," she brightly smiled. "Just thinking about how great their faces would look once they realize we're married already."
It took a bit of convincing, but Mia somehow managed to rope her newly-wedded husband into her scheme of hiding their whirlwind marriage. The best part was that they wouldn't even try and hide it. They'll both wear their wedding rings in broad daylight, and it would be up to their friends to recognize the symbolism regarding the massive rock sitting over her finger.
"Yeah… And the fact that we're actually married comes second to that?" Levi chuckled.
