Be Honest

Moon stirred feeling tired and stiff. Her eyelids felt so heavy, but she forced them to lift. Her animals were rubbing against her, crying in worry. She turned to her side and pushed herself with a groan. That was when she realized the color in the sky had changed. The full moon was over and she had not marked her chosen.

She looked at her hands, turning them to still see her markings. She furrowed her brows and looked at her dear creatures. She smiled and petted them to calm their whimpering and whining. Moon smiled, but she was also worried. She could feel her brother's powers in her once more. He shouldn't be doing that because it would not last within her.

Not only that, but the sun would not be as strong.

"Brother," she spoke softly and sat on her Moon with her eyes closed.
