They Were Ridiculous

"Clete, do you think she would choose you?" She questioned leaning back and fixing her clothes, "You do nothing but fish all day and stay up all night. Is that a life she would want?"

The green haired man closed his pink eyes and frowned. What his mother said was right, but he couldn't tell her what the people of Rosemount was planning a celebration for her. Besides helping his people, his mother was right. He only knew of what his father had taught him. The organizing of where money went and where it came from, how to talk to those who come with questions, and how to hold oneself.

It wasn't like Clete did them, but he had seen and watched his father do those tasks.

His mother... he had not learned from as much. The female was the face of Rosemount and although she knew some things, his father technically did most of the stuff.

"What are you suggesting to win her heart?" Clete asked and the female smiled.
