New neighbor, Helping out a kid

"MY BEDROOM!!!"

Shirou was woken up from his sleep by the scream of his neighbor, he looked at the clock to see that it was 09:03 in the morning.Thinking what could have happened to this neighbor of his to scream so loudly. Nonetheless he got up from bed and went to the bathroom for a cold shower.

Afterwards he put on his clothes and went to meet his neighbor. Shirou reached his neighbor's apartment and knocked on the door. Soon he heard the sounds of footsteps, each one louder than the previous ones. When the sound of foot step ceased the door was opened by a blond woman. Shirou looked at the person who open the door, just to see Lucy standing there holding the door knob. He smiled at Lucy and said "Good morning Lucy"

Lucy POV:

'Did I wake up on the wrong leg today or what. First while I was bathing Natsu and Happy somehow broke in to my apartment. I would have been somewhat okey with it, if they didn't glitter the floor of my bedroom with trash and leftover food. Happy even scratched open my couch. Filled with anger I screamed at the 2 of them in an attempt to make them stop but it seemed as though my thought didn't reach them as they only said "good morning Lucy, nice house you have here", "Yeah but you need to buy more fish". While I was putting on my clothes they explained to me that they picked up a job and wanted to know if I was interested in doing it with them. So I asked them what the job was about. Happy started explaining how the job is about a book of some type that needs to be decoded. I was hooked as soon as Happy said that and just as I was about to say sure I heard knocks on my door. So I opened the door to see Shirou standing there, seriously what is going on first Natsu and now Shirou'

Shirou saw Lucy stand in a daze so he said "Hey Lucy you there"

Hearing this Lucy came back from her daze and said "Yes, Hi Shirou come in let's talk inside"

"Don't mind the intrusion" Shirou said. But Shirou was surprised to find Natsu also inside so he said "good morning".

Natsu on the other hand said "I knew I smelt a that smell somewhere" happy who was flying above Natsu said "Hi Shirou, do you like fish"

At the moment Shirou didn't understand why Natsu and Happy were inside Lucy's apartment so he asked lucy what was going on.

After a round of explanation from Lucy, Natsu and Happy, Shirou understood what happened. But now that he understood what conspired he didn't have any reason to ask Lucy about the scream this morning so he told his goodbye to three of them and left.

Since the talk with his neighbor was over he went straight to the same restaurant he ate last night but this time for breakfast. Once inside a waiter handed him the menu. Shirou looked at the part of the menu which was titled breakfast and read through it. After reading through the whole thing Shirou decided to have Morning bananza. It was a French toast with maple syrup and fruits as for the drink he didn't know what most of it was. But one drink called bean tea caught his eyes and he hoped that it was coffee. So he called the waiter and asked what it was. The waiter told him that it was a beverage that was made from grinding brownish colored beans. Hearing this Shirou gave his orders to the waiter. While waiting for his food to arrive he looked out to see all kinds of shop doing business and people roaming the streets.

Soon his food arrived. Shirou looked at the morning bananza that was brought to his table which had 7 layers of french toast stacked on top of each other. He cut it in to byte size pieces and ate it without hurry. Once he was done with the morning bananza, he tasted his drink with a slight sip. It tasted okey not the best he had but was acceptable.

Shirou sipped the last bit of coffee left in the mug with a satisfied expression, even though he had finished he still sat there thinking about what he had to do today in his head, he had to buy change of clothes, cooking utensils and bathroom accessories. Deciding to leave he called the waiter. When the waiter came Shirou payed for his meal which costed 1200 jewels.

He left the restaurant and walked towards the Town's shopping center. On his way he passed by many shops that sold all sorts of things. One of the more unique one was magic equipment for day to day use. It took his interest so he decided to look through it but found nothing of use to him. Leaving the shop Shirou continued his walk toward the Town's shopping center. After walking for a while he reached the shopping center.

Shirou decided to buy the cooking utensils first. After looking around for a while he founded a good shop and bought most of the things he needed. He bought thing such as plates, cups, spoons, forks, cutting knives, a frying pan and pots. By the end of his shopping spree he had bought so much that he had to go back to his apartment put them down then return back to continue buying what he needed. Also on his way back Shirou saw couple of magical equipments that resembled a gas stove. So he asked the shop owner what it did. The owner told him that it was for cooking and how to use it. Needless to say Shirou bought it without hesitation.

He returned to his apartment, organized everything he bought and went back to buy the rest of the things he needed. Just the cooking appliances alone costed 145'000 jewels.

The bathroom accessories and the clothes were lot more manageable as he only bought what he needed. It consisted of a soap, a toothbrush, a toothpaste, a toilet paper and a towl. As for clothes he bought one set of pajamas, 3 black pants, 4 white T-shirt, 2 shirts, some underwear, 10 sets of socks and a grey cloak. All of this costed 73'450 jewels.

When he finished organizing everything in his apartment he looked at the time, it was 18:45. Since he didn't have anything to do now he decided to go and see The Kardia Cathedral. He also wanted to buy some ingredients for dinner.

The Kardia Cathedral that was in the center of Magnolia had a design similar to, if not the same as European churches. Shirou walked inside to find that the inside was also pretty similar. A long hall with sets of long benches, two rows of four decorated window at each side and a platform at the end of the hall for speeches.

Shirou was somewhat disappointed by the Kardia Cathedral's design as he was expecting something more then just the same old church design. And after he finished checking it out he went to the market to buy some ingredients for a chicken soup.

On his way to the market Shirou passed by an alleyway, his eyes catching a glimpse of a child being mugged. Shirou stopped for a minute, he was feeling conflicted. One part of him wanted to help the kid, the other part of him telling him to mind his own business. But ultimately he chose to help the kid out.

Shirou walked back to the alleyway, to see the kid pinned up to a wall by a group of grown men. Shirou walked up to the group grabbed one of the man by the skull slamming it into the wall. The group of men were stunned for a while not knowing how to react. The first to move was the man who had the kid pinned up to the wall, reaching in to his pocket the man brought out a small knife flailing it around to scare Shirou away. Saying stuff like don't meddle in other peoples business kid.

Shirou didn't care for their empty thread and proceeded to walk forward. The group of men angered attacked Shirou together in an attempt to outnumber him. Seeing this Shirou simply dodged them one by one, making sure to give each one of them a good punch that would make sure they stay down, while dodging.

He helped the kid out after dealing with the group of men, asking one of the passer by to call the guards to handle the men who were beaten down.

When Shirou was done shopping he went back to his apartment. Going inside his apartment Shirou placed his ingredients down at the kitchen and went to wash his hands. After he finished washing his hands, he went to the kitchen to cook his meal.

Ending his day with a hot chicken soup.
