The Mysterious Old Woman

The Patriarch was frozen in place as he saw his daughter fall into An Di's arms.

As if lightning struck his mind, he couldn't comprehend what had happened.

His daughter was in cahoots with An Di, and she even called him Master?

"Yue'er?" His voice trembled.

But Xu Yue, the daughter of the Patriarch, was in her own world. Tears formed in the corner of her eyes as he hugged An Di.

She felt guilty for failing to complete the task assigned to her by her master.

Despite the fact that her family had been annihilated, she was sad about it. But her master was the most important person in her life. She was also moved when her master did not kill her.

She knew she was worthless in her master's eyes, but her master was concerned about her.

An Di ruffled her hair. "You did a good job," he said softly as he turned to face Patriarch, who was rooted to the spot.

"Now tell me. Why did you lie to me?"

But the Patriarch didn't respond, his eyes were fixed on his daughter.
