Sweet, sweet revenge

Leo sighed.

"I should stop worrying about all of that for now and just focus on what to do next." thought Leo.

Lately so much stuff had been going on he found it hard to focus on stuff.

Containment breach, joining the insurgency, delta command, sarkicism, the hunter's black lodge, MC&D... And so on.

It was just hard to find a moment of peace lately.

There was something on his mind constantly and he had to worry about all kinds of things.

It had been stressing Leo out but over the time he found a solution, and that was to focus on one thing at a time.

He wasn't some omnipotent god that could take care of everything with the blink of an eye, he was still bound by the law of nature, although he very much didn't fit in.

Leo sighed at his weakness as he went to look for Valentina to inform her about the weapon positions.

"On an individual level I am strong, but on a bigger scale I am weak. I can easily be crushed by any GOI at this point, it's kind of depressing..." thought Leo as he walked across the mansion.

For the time being, Leo cleared his mind, there was no use in putting himself down.

After walking around the mansion for a while Leo found Valentina sitting at the table in the kitchen.

She was still drinking coffee even though Leo had been busy putting weapons up in the last one and a half hours.

"How many cups have you had so far?" asked Leo as he sat down beside her.

"Probably five, or something. or six..." said Valentina.

She thought about it for a while before giving up on finding a solid answer.

"And this will be your last, right?"

Valentina didn't respond, instead, she shot a confused expression at Leo.

The expression was enough for Leo to realize that this definitely wouldn't be her last cup of coffee.

"You do know that the daily recommended dosis of caffeine is 400mg, and that on average a cup of coffee contains 90mgs of caffeine, right."

"Yeah, I do."

Leo sighed once again.

"Honestly Valentina at this point it would be a wonder if you made it past your fifties, you smoke like a chimney, half of your intake of water comes from coffee and you don't exercise in the slightest."

Valentina looked offended.

"For your information, I do exercise."

"Twenty sit ups a month don't count as exercise in my opinion." said Leo.

Valentina looked stunned and didn't continue arguing since she knew she wouldn't get anywhere with it.

"What do you want Leo? If you're just here to annoy me and pester me about my habits then go help Aria or something."

"Oh, right. I almost forgot why I even came here. I've hidden three guns around the house in case of an ambush and I want you to know where you can find them. There is one behind the flower pot at the front door, one under the table in the living room, and one taped to the backside of the drawer near your room, be careful since the safety is off on all the guns."

"Ah, right. Thank you Leo, so far I'm glad I took you on as my guard."

"I will be getting started on the escape plan in a minute or so, I will probably set up three escape points around the house, but first there is something else I gotta do."

"And that is?"

A smug smile appeared on Leo's face.

"Since you let me sleep in that shitty basement, it is time for you to buy some new furniture for it, you said that I could decorate it however I wanted once I cleaned the basement, and clean it I did. And trust me, my shopping list definitely isn't going to be cheap..."

Valentina rubbed her temples.

"I think I will be taking back what I said about me being glad that I hired you..."

"No takebacks now!, Lemme what the total was again for the basement..."

Leo did some quick calculations in his head before continuing.

"The total cost would be 9 total."

Valentina looked relieved.

"Nine hundred dollars is fine, quite cheap actually."

"Oh, I'm not talking about hundreds, but about thousands, so the total would be nine thousand dollars."

Upon hearing this, Valentina only had one appropriate reaction left.

"Fuck!"
