chapter 7 Class project

I headed back to my seat then Fred followed suit and headed to his own seat some minutes later another teacher which i suppose teaches anothet subject came into the class and ended the knhoing discussions between students.

Hey students,the teacher greeted.

Hey mrs Annabelle,half of the students greeted.

So we are supposed to have history but i don't care much,so go do a project on the history of USA to be subbmitted next week so to say there will be no history classes till then so you can work on your projects,i take my leave now,Teacher Annabelle said.

The students were about jubilating because of the free period paused due to the sound of the door knob opening

umm you guys are in teams of two,the teacher said.

Since i don't have time to choose just pick your seat mate as your partner bye again,Teacher Annabelle said and closed the door .

The class was quiet for a minute or two to see uf any teacher was gonna come again but no one came so they turned the class upside down.

You're not talking,Ayden said.

Wait , why?,Alexa asked.

Why what,he replied back immediately.

why the hell won't you stop talking to me,she said.

Cause you seem cool,and i love your spirit,he said smiling.

Thanks for the compliment but i hate yours and also please don't talk to me, she said opening my bag to bring out a history textbook and see what she can add to her project.

i can see why you don't have any friends,he said and smirked as he saw her facial expression changed.

Excuse me,she said.

I don't repeat myself,he said.

well i don't have your time i have a project to do,she said.

Aren't we like supposed to do that together,he said picking his nails.

I didn't answer at first as i brought out a book and pen and jotted down something.

Well i thought about it and i came to a conclusion that why will i do it with you and miserably fail or do it myself and pass,i said smiling.

You're cute but boring,he said.

i ignored him completely as i kept on jottong down little details i found in the textbook.

After some minutes the bell went off.

Ring* Ring *Ring*

Fred what do you have now,i didn't come with my class schedule , i still don't get why its different,fred said slightly dissapointed .

Well we'll have lunch together,ok,she said.

I guess,ok,he said and planted a kiss on my forehead.

ohhhhhhh ,the class echoed .

Gosh,Ammateurs, Alexa said as she left the class to her locker.

while she was checking her calender for the next class,she heard a loud thud on her locker and she shivered.

When she closed her locker to see what who it was she saw Ayden.

What the hell is wrong with you,she screamed at him.

Are you crazy?she added.

He came really close to her ,his mouth close to her ears,his breath hot on her skin then he said.

Yes , am crazy about you,he smirk with thay stupid smirk on his face.

Don't say that i have a boyfriend,she said.

Who doesn't care about you,he added.

Look i know him better than you or anyone else,he continued.

Stop it,she yelled.

Am just kidding but be wary,he said.

BTW what do you have now?,he asked.

Music,she said.

I have the same,let me walk you,he said shining his perfectly white teeth .

Don't bother,i'll find it my self,i said.

You act tough but you're not,why not being your self,he said .

Anyways see you in class,he said and winked at me.

i rolled my eyes at him and he smiled.

I headed for my music clasd as i entered all eyes were on me which was normal cause i was used to the attention but right now it felt awkward as my name was all over the room.

Ok class settle down,she said as she looked at her book and then at me.

Alexa take the empty seat near Ayden,she said as she stood up and started passing different musical instruments to the class.

As i was seated ,Ayden looked at me and said.

it's fated,we are meant to be,he said.

Alexa ,The teacher called.

Yes,i answered nonchalantly.

But she didn't mind and she kept on talking.

Did you bring any musical instrument with you?she asked.

No,don't you give out then collect it after the class,i said.

These are their instruments i keep in school to avoid spoilage so try and bring the instrument you are good at to school,she said.

Ok,i answered.

But for now take this flute,she stretched her hands passing the flute to me.

Ewww no way you want me to use that,i said scanning the flute with my eye.

Its brand new,she said a little uncomfortable.

Well i don't care i can't use that bullshit,i said.

Young lady mind your words your in a school,she said.

i rolled my eyes at her which she caught immediately and brought out a paper signing on it then she gave it to me and said"Detention after school till friday",she said.

That's no fair,i said trying to save myself.

Next time you learn how to talk in school,she said and went to the front of the class calling me.

What is it now,i said.

Don't let me give you detention for two weeks ,she said angry.

I was just joking ,am coming already,i said as i left my seat to go to the front class.

Since you won't play the flute play the keyboard,she said.

Okay ,i said as i sat down and stretched my fingers.

I played gently on the keys as the melody was soft and relaxing to the ear.

i could tell i impressed the hell outta some people.

wow ,nice melody,she said.

Ok,i said as i stood up to go to my seat.

Wait here is the manuscript,learn it and we will meet next class,she said immediately the bell went off.

As i left to go back to my locker,a firm hand stopped me and pulled me behind a door.

I was quick to react as i almost slapped the human who held me.

Chillax it me,Fred said.

Fred why would you pull me like that,i said.

Sorry but while i was looking for you so we could have lunch together,i saw Ayden and i heard talking to his crew about how he is trying to use you for something i couldn't hear well,he said.

What am trying to say is try and stay away from him,he added pleading with his eyes.

Fine,i will mom,i said playfully.

why are you acting up,you don't act like this,why the sudden change,he said comcern full in his voice.

I don't know ,am just trying to fit in,i said .

No need to act up,i like you the way you are and am sure if you quit the attitude others too will,he explained to me.

I'll try ,i said.

But you know why am like this,i don't want no touchy feelings,i added tears threatening to escape from my eyes.

i know ,ever since tour dad did what he did,he said.

Don't say that to any one even in your dream,i said weakly threatening him.

I promise,i won't,he said smiling.

I was about leaving the creepy closet when he pulled me back and held my waist.

Hey,what gives,i said knotting my brows.

You're leaving without giving me a kiss,he said as he smiled.

For some reason i prefer Ayden smile to Fred's own.

why on earth am i comparing my boyfriend to Ayden.

hey,Fred snapped his finger and i awoke from my my daydream.

I pulled him by his shirt closer to me as i planed a kiss on his lips .
