The undead warrior

After eventually reaching their goal, Akira and the others discovered a dungeon that appeared to be where the king was kept. The dungeon was all hidden by a strange fog that hid the dungeon's presence. Akira wasn't bothered. He smashed the fog and the rocks covering the dungeon. They soon entered in.

Given that there were two tunnel paths, they entered and divided into groups, with Akira leading one and Volts leading the others.

Akira and the knights entered the dungeon, which already had a torch in the area, and discovered a gateway. When Akira opened it, there were traps all over the place, including what appeared to be a pressure plate on the floor and a wall surrounded by arrows and knives.

Akira stepped in knowing there were traps, he activated the traps and so he dodged them all, dodging as if he was dancing, Akira dodged while also closing his eyes focusing on his ears to detect the attack.

The knights were astounded seeing Akira making it look so easy to dodge, Akira finally made it and activated all the traps that were left. Akira yelled to the knights to come to him and said to not worry about the traps because he had already activated all of them.

The knights stepped in and avoid the knives and arrows that were stuck on the ground and the wall, worrying if it was poisoned. Akira told them to hurry and he opened the door first leaving them.

Akira encountered another trap, a den of snakes, Akira know what the snakes were afraid of and so he grab some torches. He lighted his way and waited for the knights to come.

Meanwhile, Volts came across the same, they were surrounded by traps along with pressure plates, compared to Akira who handled this, tapped the ground, and deactivate all the mechanisms by cutting the wires from within the pressure plates and the wall. His electricity alone neutralized every trap in the area.

He and the knights then walked casually to the next door.

Different from Akira, Volts encountered a runic mechanism that was filled with mathematical equations. Volts calculate and straight using his logic how the rune would work by simply using algebra theory since he needed a code to breakthrough. He couldn't use his electricity since there was no trigger only a code to access their way in.

In order to connect the four puzzles that were carved into the four walls, Volts integrated them and used mathematics to add and divide the eight digits, arriving at the digit codes 08, 49, 66, and 5. After that, he proceeded to a strange stone that had buttons and codes attached to it.

The knights were perplexed by the math so they left Volts handle it and eventually they entered when Volts's four-digit codes were verified as being right.

Some of the knights were holding Akira tightly while Akira was dragging them because they were frightened of snakes, which caused Akira to struggle.

The fact that the snakes were wary of fire and didn't need to worry about them approaching irked Akira a little. Akira eventually opened the door to the subsequent chamber.

When Akira encountered the Mikadzuki, a woman who employed some form of spatial magic, he warned the knights to avoid her because of how his danger sense alerted him to stay away and soon recognized who she was.

"Those black orbs..." Because he had witnessed what happened when one of those black spheres hit a human and went through them like a bullet, all he asked of them was that they stay away from them. It appeared as though those orbs were designed as a force field and a cannon due to their remarkable endurance and speed.

[ORB MAGIC: MARBLE BALL]

She created an orb that was a size of a basketball surrounding her. Akira held his scythe tightly, he exhaled and focused on the orbs, it could launch like a cannon from what he was aware of.

Akira tried to analyze every weakness and every movement she make. She launched her attack first because Akira was hesitant to attack. Ready for battle, Akira deflected them and rushed to her, she could control the mobility of the orbs and remotely controlled them to Akira.

Akira jumped and performed his blood slash towards her trying to hit her, she created a wall filled with her magic whilst trying to hit him. Akira ran as fast as he could, dodging every single of her attacks.

Akira finally discovered something, she attacked him blindly after she created a wall to protect her. Her wall wasn't visible so she could not see him, Akira finally understood her weakness and tried to create a dust explosion by striking the rocks above her.

Dust everywhere, a perfect moment to strike, Akira swung his scythe to the limit where she would be blown off even if she was shielded by her magic. Like a baseball, Akira launched her very fast, she was injured because of the impact which made her head bleed.

Enraged, she launched 10 orbs blindly attacking those surrounding her, Akira blocked all of her orbs but was bruised because the orbs were moving violently, she felt his presence after she hit him and surrounded him with her orbs. Akira was trapped and so she launched all of her orbs around him, creating an explosion.

Her eyes widened after she saw a shadow of a person in the smoke, standing up. Akira was badly injured his arms were severed, his body had a giant hole because of the force of her orbs while trying to block them. She couldn't believe he wasn't dead after the orbs hit him with a massive speed that could potentially kill a person.

Akira regenerated his arms, healed his body, and lifted his scythe that was dropped by him. She noticed his regeneration, she thought he only had blood magic. She saw him like he was an undead warrior, it was because of how rare one could regenerate and healed that fast, even with a fatal injury, not to mention it needed a lot of mana to do so.

Akira held his scythe tightly and said "My turn!" His words made her shiver, her guard was opened and so Akira launched himself. She created a magic wall frantically because of how fast he was, he destroyed the wall, and finally land a hit on her.

She passed out after receiving the blow from Akira. Akira panted and he admitted that the orbs were heavy than what he expected.

"Never knew I would be so glad I'm immortal." Akira sighed softly after in a complete healing state.

He shouted to the knights to come out and so they did, they arrested her by tying her up with a unique chain with a seal on it and would later return to prison her.

Volts, on the other hand, faced a man who used earth magic. Volts and the knights worked together, and so, they fight alongside each other.

Unfortunately, the earth mage had the environments he could control since they were in a dungeon surrounded by a rocky environment.

Volts struggled to fight since he had the advantage of the dungeon.

[EARTH MAGIC: CAGE OF DEATH]

The man trapped all the knights, and Volts slowly crushed them by narrowing the space.

The knights were scared and filled with despair, Volts didn't flinch and exhaled.

[ELECTRICITY MAGIC: SHOCK SPEED: 30%]

Charging every bit of his electricity, his hair rose and his body started to make an electrical aura, zapping those who were near.

Volts entered his starting position as if he was about to jump and launched himself. Volts charged at the wall and destroyed the wall that the man created.

"Impossible, those walls are strong as iron!" The man was shocked by how Volts would manage to free himself.

The smoke let out and he couldn't see him, Volts then appeared behind the man and kicked him right in the face. The man stood up after he was kicked, he raised his hand trying to use magic to fire a boulder at Volts. Volts quickly grabbed both of his wrists and knee kicked him in the face, preventing him to cast his magic.

Volts won and so he was knocked out cold. Volts ordered the knights and so they tied him up and would later return to prison him.

In the next room, both Akira and Volts finished their fights and continued to the next room, prioritizing saving the king...
