Sentimental Master

Starting with the most intriguing one, Sebastian opened the descriptions of each.

[Sentimental (S)]

Symbolization (1): Is it the needs that create the emotions, or is it the emotions that create the need...

Symbolization (2): Servant or rebel to fulfill or contradict their master's biggest desire, their sentimental master indeed.

Synopsis: Creates abilities based on the strong emotions of the user.

[Remorse - If it wasn't me (A)]

Symbolization: If I'm not the indicated, someone will be.

Synopsis: Creates a marionette in which combat power is directly proportional to how wounded the user is. After returning to the user's body, the marionette can cure the wounds and regenerate mana based on the lives taken.

[Remorse/sub - A decent weapon (D)]

Symbolization: An indicated weapon for the indicated person… adding to the formula that precise moment.

Synopsis: Creates a weapon at the user's will consuming the mana of the marionette.

[Fear - I don't want to die (C)]

Symbolization: Whoever is above, I beg you to keep me alive… to see the last morning's light.

Synopsis: Accumulates the fear experienced by the user to keep their body alive when critical damage is received.

[Sadness - I'm alone (D)]

Symbolization: The most pitiful thing is not being lied to, but lying to oneself.

Synopsis: Creates an illusion that the receiver most wants to see.

[Suicidal - Put an end (B)]

Symbolization: Everything has an end, differentiated by me or by them.

Synopsis: Knowing/predicting the way the user is going to die will absolve all the tolerable damage. The next attack by the user will carry an 'unavoidable direct damage effect'.

Sitting on his bed blind in the dark, hearing his own breathing, Sebastian knew now who the responsible was. Perhaps he's talking about the abilities created, or perhaps he meant something else…

But everything that occurred that night came into an explanation: why the marionette was summoned, why it obtained a blade when he wished, and why he was still alive despite being stabbed, uneyed, beaten, eaten, and dismembered…

Sebastian looked at the conspicuous 'S' on his ability list.

"S-class… creates abilities…"

So this was what determined the end from the beginning…

If it had been an A-class, B-class, C-class, D-class or, even E-class ability! But of another type, one ability that could be used to fight, they wouldn't have… Stop it, Sebastian.

What's the point of all?

Nothing will change.

You said you won't regret that night again.

Gosh, you're gonna create another ability with your depressed ass hahahahaha.

S-class ability: Regret - if my S-class ability wasn't an S-class ability HAHAHAHAHAHA!

People are dying outside because their initial is weak and you here crying 'I don't want an S-class, I want mommy and daddy!'.

Pffff.

Pathetic.

And speaking of crying…

[Sadness - I'm alone (D)]

Guess I was not hallucinating when I saw them again.

Hey, look at the bright side: I'm not insane.

Guess the last cliche I could fall into was entering a psychiatric hospital after my entire family is…

I gotta live well!

Live their part!

400 year!

Then…

[Suicidal - Put an end (B)]

Suicidal? Who? Me? Nah, that's impossible.

I'm an S-class genius WITH A SYSTEM!

Who's gonna die?

Not me.

I'm a valuable human being!

I can't be a savior.

I can be that high schooler that saves not only Japan but the whole world!

With the power of music?

Pfffff, okay, that was funny.

What if I start learning how to play the guitar?

Nah, guitars are overrated, it's better to learn how to play bass!

B-A-S-S!

Learn how to slap those strings… wait, will the system…?

Will the system allow me to get a music-related skill?

There are a bunch of guitars, piano, and rhythm games.

Gotta try.

What about cooking? Making desserts?

There are games of that too.

Or those simulators! Will I learn how to drive a car… wait a minute, why only a car?

Aim higher.

I can learn how to pilot a plane!

Oh! An alien starship!

Well, maybe that's a little too excessive.

And speaking of science fiction.

Lightsaber? The force? Lasers?

There's a game based on that movie saga right?

Nah, better not, they have terrible aiming.

And what if I…
