In a world with no magic nor dragons lived a not-so-special person. They lived most days like other people. They would wake up, go to school, come home, and spend most of their free time on their computer.
Their name? Only people that knew them knew that. There does happen to be a name that we know. That of course is username001. A name that simply came from not having a name in the first place.
They never went by that name but rather that's what others made for them.
On this day they were doing something that other people would think is stupid and this person probably thought the same. However, they still did it anyway. From all the crazy stuff that has happened so far, it wasn't that unrealistic.
So they did what they would do every week. They turned on their computer and went where the impossible happened. Most likely they would describe it as magic but it would be better to say it was a story that was able to have contact with them.
With a simple comment, the story would react to it as if it was a real voice. They were somehow able to change something that was already set in stone. However, even with this new predicament, their interaction was quite tame.
It was something along the lines of "I don't want to interfere with it that much." Was it fear of changing it too much? Maybe they wanted to hold themself responsible. Or perhaps they would not accept the situation they found themself in.
I'm not sure.
Even so every week they would go on their computer and check it out. Sometimes leave a comment other times not.
But why then were they going there today? There was nothing to happen today. They most likely knew that but the event that occurred the other day made them so curious they had to check. That was because they were starting to confuse reality with fiction.
They most likely knew this as well but at the end of the day, there was no harm in checking and so they did. They went to see if what was hinted the other day in the story would come true today.
Of course, there was not. Just because there was something happening in a certain amount of time in the fictional world does not mean it would change the real world.
The simple infatuation with the statement 'tomorrow' had led them to check it today.
They visually take a sigh. Most likely of relief. They knew the story was soon coming to end and so wanted to make the most of it. If there was something going on with the wording they probably wanted to know immediately.
Knowing them they probably already knew the ending to this one story.
Soon one of the main characters would finish the teleportation circle and after convincing the other main character they would both go home changed, but happier. It was a happy ending he saw coming a mile away.
This is why they most likely hated stories so much. Make it bad or good, even uninspected they knew what would happen. But if the story changed depending on what they did would the ending change?
They would most likely ponder this many times by now but to stop him this time someone called his name. They would then leave their computer and leave their room.
The Anomaly was scared.
