Perfect Partner

JinYoung POV

A really beautiful actress walked into the room. At first, I thought she was the female lead. She had the look, but having worked with this director before, I knew she couldn't be the one he chose. Yea, she was perfect, but her personality needed some work.

Apparently she didn't know her part in the series though. "Hi, I am In Sook-Ja. I am sure we will get along famously. Even be the next power couple." I nodded and tried to sit away from her in my chair. She kept touching my arm and making me uncomfortable.

Mr. Kim walked into the room and gave me a sympathy look , seeing Sook-ja sitting beside me. He shook his head and tilted his head towards the door. That gave me the peace that I needed because I knew my co-lead was outside. The door opened and a very pretty girl stepped inside. Behind her, Mr. Lee, stepped in and looked at Sook-Ja.

The girl actually screeched when she found out she was in the wrong seat. I tried not to laugh when she started stomping around the table after being insulted by Mr. Lee. He wasn't the type to hold back and since he was producer on this series, he had final say.

The new girl had sat down beside me with a half smirk on her face. I was sensing some "bad blood" between her and the crazy chick. She was very pretty. Not the kind of pretty that made men fall for her in an instance but the sort that grew on you and would engulf your heart. I was going to enjoy helping this rookie become loved by the public. I enjoyed watching people grow in the business. I smiled at her and she gave me a polite nod and soft smile back.

Mr. Lee sat down and the script was passed out for everyone. Soft grumbles and moans came from In Sook-Ja as she discovered her exact part in the script. She seemed severely disappointed. I noticed she had daggers in her eyes when she looked at the girl next to me.

Our first table read was a way for us to learn more about each other and practice the way we would act once filming started. I was excited. As much as I enjoyed being in GOT7, I loved playing a new person on set.

Introductions were made:

I, Park JinYoung would be playing the male lead. My character is a suspended detective from the Violent Crimes Unit. He is trying to solve a series of rapes and murders of young women that have been stalked for up to 3 months prior to their deaths. He believes it is a serial murderer but his division chief doesn't think so, thus he is suspended for disobedience.

The girl sitting beside me was my female lead. She introduced herself as she stood up. Her voice was beautiful. "I am Oh Se-Ah. My character is the female lead." A big huff came out of the lips of Sook-Ja. " My character is being stalked by the killer but she refuses to be taken with out a fight. She gets help from the male lead and together they solve the case and she survives. She is also the love interest for the male lead."

I thought she would blush at the last phrase, but she didn't. Instead, she looked at me and smiled, nodding respectfully. "Please lead me well, Mr. Park." "Call me Jin-Young. I am sure we will work well together." She turned, sat, and looked at the others as they began introductions. I was going to enjoy this series.

It was the other girl's turn for introductions. I was going to have to keep an eye on her. Rookies could be brutal towards each other and I was seemingly feeling protective of Se-Ah. You could hear the contempt in Sook-Ja's voice as she stated her part. "I will be the third victim of the serial killer. I don't have a big part but I will make sure to make it memorable." I looked to Mr. Lee, who rolled his eyes. She might be on the cutting room floor if she didn't shape up.

Se-Ah POV

We went through the script together. All in all, it took about 4 hours and that was just episodes 1-4. I got the feel for it though. It seemed like my character was tough and pretty capable. Jin-Young was so helpful. If I wasn't sure of the mood or tone, he would help me read through it until I got it fairly right. He gave me lots of learning hints too. Sook-Ja was watching us the whole time. I swear , I think I had holes in my head from her glares. She had best not try anything with me, I could kick her butt...scandal or not! :)

A/N-( I will be posting excerpts of created script as they "film". You will get a sense for the series and how the love interest will be in the show. Don't worry, I won't let you down.;))

I turned to Jin-Young after we finished today's read. "Thank you for the help. I appreciate it more than you know." He smiled. If GOT7 hadn't been one of my favorite groups, they would be now. He was so handsome and sweet.

"What are you doing right now?" I was stumped, not sure I understood what he was asking. "I wanted to introduce you to my friends. They always like to meet new people and since you are a part of the company, I thought you would need introduced anyway. " He lifts my name badge up, "So you can get rid of this one day."

I nodded. " Oh, I am not busy right now. I would like to meet your friends." Please let it be GOT7, please let it be GOT7...I think my heart was about to explode...a dream come true. I actually hadn't even thought about the prospect of meeting them. Why, I didn't know. We all worked for the same company now but realization hit and my heart was going crazy!

He nodded and grabbed my wrist. He pulled me down the hall towards a practice room. I could hear music and voices inside. He opened the door and my heart jumped into my throat. I started coughing as the members of GOT7 turned and looked directly at me.

BamBam grabbed a bottle of water and rushed over to me, "Are you alright? Here, drink." I took the bottle, noting it wasn't sealed...omg, indirect kiss with GOT7...dying inside. Come on Se-Ah, get it together! I took a slow sip, slowed my breathing and handed the bottle back. He took a sip and walked back over to the spot he had been sitting beside Mark.

The rest of them stood up and Jin-Young, who was still holding my wrist, pulled me farther inside the room. I was instantly surrounded. They smelled of sweat, cologne, and "love". OMG, I can't believe I just thought that...I had lost my frickin' mind. "Hello, I am Oh Se-Ah. It is an honor to meet you."

Instantly, I was bombarded with questions. Jin-Young had finally released my hand and I started moving in a circle as they spoke. "How old are you?" "When did you sign with us?" "Are you a singer?" "Will you be acting with Jin-Young?" " Can you dance?" "What is your part?" I was so overwhelmed, I sat down where I stood.

J B lifted his hand and the others quieted down. I closed my eyes and started answering the questions, one at a time. "22, a week ago, yes, I dance too, yes I am in the series with Jin-Young...I am female lead.." A cohesive "ohhh" came from a few of them.

I opened my eyes and they had all sat down around me. I looked at their faces. They had curious looks of awe and anticipation as Jin-Young started explaining our parts in the series. "So you do get to kiss her?" Jin-Young smacked BamBam on the shoulder. I started laughing. The nervousness , I had when walking in the room, dissolved and we began talking as though we had known each other more than 15 minutes.

Yugyeom POV

She was so pretty. I was almost jealous that Jin-Young was going to get to spend time with her on set, even get to hold her, maybe even ki... No, I didn't need to think that. I have no clue what was going through my head right now. I sat quietly, which for me was weird. I saw J B look at me a few times, with that "are you ok" look. I nodded at him and just listened. Her voice was soothing. She had mentioned she could sing and dance. I was extremely curious to know.

J B looked at her funny all of a sudden and started singing the chorus to JUST RIGHT. "It was you, I saw you dancing on the street to this song." Se-Ah looked at him and started laughing, "No, you saw me...oh god, that is embarrassing!" I remembered J B talking about her. So she could dance, now I wanted to see it. "Would you dance and sing with us? " I wasn't expecting her to agree.

"Sure, I love that song!" J B nodded and went over to the computer to find JUST RIGHT. We all stood up and got in a formation. "How much do you know?" I asked her as she pulled her hair up into a ponytail and secured it with a band from around her wrist. Man, she was pretty. "I know all of it, I am sort of a serious AHGASE." The boys cheered and the music started.

We wound up dancing and singing to 5 different songs. J B had started to watch from the side as we continued dancing. She was extremely good. Her vocals were so controlled as she moved and she could keep up with BamBam's moves. The music stopped and we all fell to the floor, tired. J B handed her a bottle of water and we sat catching our breath.

"Do you want to be in a MV with us?" J B asked out of the blue. We all knew he had a plan with the last song for the album but that shocked us. She looked at him then at each other. Since we knew J B well, we ,in turn, nodded in agreement. We knew she was capable and it would be fun to promote her with our music too. Jin-Young spoke up, "It may be hard to learn lyrics and choreo while filming but if your willing, I think it will boost your career and be fun."

Se-Ah looked like she was thinking it over. We sat quietly for a few minutes while she thought about it. "I can make sure it is ok with Mr. Kim and Mr. Lee. I don't foresee and problem and you will get paid for it." She smiled wide and looked at each of us. She stared at my eyes making me have to look down. I had to swallow and urge myself to breathe. "Sure, as long as it is ok with management, I would love to be a part of your comeback." We all cheered.

J B looked at me. He was making me nervous. With him, sometimes you didn't know what he was thinking until it was too late. I just hoped he wouldn't embarrass me in front of her. I had a feeling this comeback was going to be memorable.
