Chapter 32: Finally...

The white moon, shining upon the many people on the new earth, its view much clearer than ever before. As before the times of men, it, being mostly covered by the polluted air.

"is it just me or does the moon looks much bigger than before?" Aiden asked. Lost in the thoughts of the past when he could barely see the moon.

Scarface gazed the same, thinking if the young lad was true, but he knew the days where there were still clear skies when he was still young but with his naked eyes, he didn't feel the difference.

"you must be imagining stuff?" he replied. "…its already late, you should go to bed. Even though you are like superman, you are still a growing boy."

Aiden was still lost on thought but his yawn disturbed him in the way. And as the man said, he was indeed tired, talking and hunting with all the soldiers and men.

"you are right…" he said. "oh right, thanks for earlier this morning.." he pushed.

Scarface, being the character he was, didn't show any gesture. Staying quiet like he always did.

Aiden didn't say much, walking away with a smile. Cause he didn't need a reply. His tired body, walking to his room. Leaving the man with his night duty be. And when the boy was finally gone, the cold face finally changed, a small smile appearing at the edge of his lips.

Not so far away, Christina was still watching the boy, jumping from the giant wall to his room with a single jump, but her focus wasn't on his strength like before, her sharp gaze still on his arm where there was once a hand.

The wind passed by her, waving her check shirt which barely covered her undergarments, showing off her thick thighs with her slim but perfect waist.

"let's sleep, captain…?" Lise said, rubbing her drowsy eyes.

They had been given a room, within the apartment building, deserving to only a small few, most of them being the injured ones. All the remaining men and women were sleeping outside in a tent, as the gapping walls still protected them from the monsters that roam in the night.

She checked on her people if everything was going alright, finding some men going easy on their duties. In the past, she would beat the hell out of them but now, they deserved this much as most of them had lost their friends, some of their family, some of their loved ones.

"…and it was all my fault," she said to herself.

Lise watched her regretful eyes, like the ones which she had before. She couldn't help but hug her from the back right then and there, throwing the captain in surprise.

"Lise?"

"it's not all you fault captain….. You have helped so many people survive, gave them shelter, gave them hope." Lise said. "and if you are thinking they will blame you for their loss. they might have some grievance but I am sure. They respect you the same…..like me." She pushed, looking up to her hero.

Christina couldn't help but smile, looking at her adorable hopeful eyes. "haaa….I guess you are right Lise." She said, hugging her back.

Lise also smiled, pushing her head into her melons. "oh….i wanted to ask something.."

"of course, you can ask whatever you want." She said, patting her blond hair.

She felt a bit hesitant to ask this but, she knew further conflict could only bear fangs upon their group. Upon their species and she had seen many cases before she was saved. "….um."

"come on, say it," Christina said.

"... I…I want you to make up with Akia." She finally said.

"….."

.

He was tired, his eyes a bit drowsy, from handling the cherubs to the many new humans just arrived, he finally figured, fighting wasn't the only thing tiring, management was the same, planning and using the remaining resources to the fullest. It was indeed a hard thing to do, sorting out everything, and to his secrecy, he had double the amount of medicines and first aids in his storage, which he told no one about.

"….only in case of emergencies." He said to himself, laying back on his bed.

He was trying to hold his head with both of his hands, but only one came to be, as another one still hovered within the empty air.

He gazed at his right bandaged arm, his once-dominant hand now no more, his gaze was of melancholy, trying to sense his nonexistent finger. He told everyone it was fine, as in battle these things would naturally occur, next time he might lose his leg, or his eye, or one day, his own life.

But the sense of loss was still there, he was just a growing boy and the world was in such a state that only he could save the many people.

"haaa…." He let it be, trying to let go of that sadness, but he felt a soft grip on his bandaged arm, and with her scent alone, he knew who the person was.

"is senpai still sleepwalking?" he said, turning to her but no, her eyes were wide open, gazing at his right arm in regret.

"senpai?" he called.

She finally looked back at him, at his golden eyes. "…sorry, I could have done more…I could have stopped 'this' from ever happening but…I was too weak…" she said, her eyes slowly looking down.

She couldn't help but slowly hug him, wrapping her arms around his back. Her tears in the verge of crying as she remembered the moment when she thought she lost him, the taste of despair she felt back then, still lingering in her heart.

"I am…sorry." She again said.

Aiden would be excited, feeling her soft body on him, but he could also feel the warm tears on his chest, as she rested her head on his chest as her body laid on his lap. He smiled the sadness which he felt before now gone. "….you are not at fault senpai, I would happily lose one more hand if it means that I could save you." He softly said, his left hand on her white hair, gradually patting her head to console her and her tears.

Akia couldn't help but tear up more, her hands gripping her shirt. "…you…" she said, now gazing up, again looking at his kind and warm eyes.

"you….i..i…" she spoke, her quaking voice hindering her words.

Aiden smiled, even more, gradually pulling her waist upon his body, he was dense at times but he wasn't this much so that he would dismiss her red chicks and her eyes like of a maiden. Staring at him with such passion.

"ummm…?"

Surprising her, he met his lips with hers, her teary eyes opening wide in shock. Feeling his warm lips on her own. She shut her eyes, as she also kissed him, her heart feeling the warmth of a man she so loved. Finally, she thought, from the school years up until now. She had waited for this moment, as for her, he was the only one remaining for her, in this cursed new world.

{....}

She kissed him, she kissed him more, the fire in her heart blazing like it had no end, her hands, going through his golden hair, as she pushed on his lips with passion and Aiden didn't miss, his hands sliding from her back to her soft and bountiful arse, he respected her, but her alluring body and her bountiful butt. He had resisted for far too long. and finally, he could feel them, touch them and he did, gripping her soft ass with his left hand.

She was only wearing his shirt, only covering her upper body, her underwear, visible for him to see, and her skin for him to touch.

"ahhh….Aiden!" she called out in moan, feeling his touch.

Finally leaving his lips, she could finally speak. "Aiden, Aiden, Aiden." She called out again and again, her body feeling hotter and hotter.

In their session of passion. They couldn't sense anything else but themselves, losing themselves in lust, as they felt each other, her hands in his muscular body and his hands on her soft but pale skin. And in all this, their minds came short, as their honed instincts couldn't sense anyone near them. Not even a certain person who was gazing at them with shocking eyes, from the small gap from the corner of the opened door. Her gray eyes, not moving an inch from the scene she fell upon.
