Author's Note

This book can be a little confusing as it is being edited from my original version.

Please note that everything will come into clear focus in time.

There are many characters in this book compared to some of my other books. Here is a list of a few of the main characters and their roles:

Zahra - main character with the ability to produce and manipulate fire and turn invisible.

Roan - Zahra's older brother. He was abandoned by their father as soon as Zahra was born and their mother died. He has the ability to hunt like a predatory animal.

Aspen - Roan's friend from a long time ago. Because of events during the past few years, they are now enemies. He has the ability to summon other people.

Lucas - Aspen's father. He is a power-hungry male who wants Zahra for her power. He has the ability to control the mind.

Tobyn - a male who helps Zahra in the beginning and who's sister is targeted by Lucas.

June - Roan's best friend and partner to keep the village safe. She has the ability to produce and manipulate ice.

Loki - a werewolf male who helps Zahra throughout her journey.

Raven, Cat, Finx, Sorrel - Roan's friends.

All their names and gifts will be clearer as time goes along, just go with the flow. I will add some explanations throughout the story. Enjoy!!!
