Mojo Jonesin’

(Jared's POV)

The Library / Townsville…

"Hello, darling." River said, walking up to me. "Where are we?"

I opened up a screen of Townsville where the city skyline is at peace.

"After Trenzalore. But before Darillium." I said, sadly. "I know I haven't seen you in ages, Mels."

"You haven't called me that in forever." River said, smirking. "You'll be seeing me soon."

"Yeah." I said, walking up to River Song to hug her. "But I'm doing it the long way around."

"The city of Townsville …where everybody loves their local heroes, those fabulous Powerpuff Girls!" The narrator chirped.

I have satellite videos linked up with hidden security cameras set up around Earth no matter the time period with help from the three Helicarriers I saved from my adventure in Captain America:The Winter Soldier.

"How long are you planning on pushing back Darillium?" River asked.

The girls fly into view and gain altitude, then fly straight at the camera. I had the hidden camera go behind the girls who are approaching Pokey Oaks Kindergarten.

The Library / Playground…

"A long time. We both know that. And you're still from my future." I said, walking over to the living room. "I still have to make your sonic screwdriver."

"And nowhere more than here, Pokey Oaks Kindergarten." The narrator said.

The Powerpuff Girls buzz by their classmates, who look up after them in admiration and climb again.

"When do I make your sonic screwdriver? With the red setting, the dampers, and the neural relay chip." I said, taking out the Tenth Doctor's destroyed sonic screwdriver from the Eleventh Hour. "I picked this up after Prisoner Zero."

"Ah, you told me you made it while in Victorian London, at Amity Park, and on Remnant." River said, smugly.

In the foreground of the school playground are a black boy with glasses, an Asian girl, a blond-haired boy in a wheelchair, and Mary—the fat, bespectacled girl who nearly had heatstroke in 'Ice Sore' before Blossom reluctantly agreed to cool her off with her ice breath, saving Mary's life.

"But the red setting and the dampers?" I asked, looking down at River's sonic screwdriver. "When will I install those?"

"The red settings?" River asked. "That was with Iris Watson."

"Looking good, girls. Let's try formation Alpha-Eleven!" Blossom said, angrily.

The Powerpuff Girls fly in three different directions, light trails blazing behind them, and go into tight turns. Blossom descends fast, moving from side to side slightly before starting a corkscrew pattern; her sisters approach from opposite sides.

"What about the dampers in your sonic?" I asked, studying the sonic screwdriver.

The Powerpuff Girls meet at the heart of the corkscrew and fly up through it as Blossom continues her descent. She stops just short of the ground and takes off again, leaving the kids cheering and talking excitedly among themselves.

"You and Tucker Foley helped put it inside." River said, smiling.

In the air, Blossom catches up with the others.

"That does make sense. Because dampers is possible with early 21st century technology." I said, tossing River's sonic screwdriver up and down into the air and into the palm of my hand. "Now the neural relay chip. How can that even be done on Remnant?"

"Omicron-Nineteen, go!" Blossom yelled.

Again the Powerpuff Girls split up, and Blossom buzzes the crowd. Buttercup and Bubbles cut wide turns and meet at ground level, flying side by side down the playground before ascending. Blossom traces a curved path, while the others mirror her moves. The three approach each other and stop dead just before colliding head-on, and we see that they have drawn a huge heart in the sky. On ground level, the other kids cheer.

"You had all the time in the world, dear." River said, drinking her glass of wine. "You went to the world of RWBY Chibi again and installed the neural relay chip into my sonic screwdriver."

In the air, Blossom waves to the group.

"You do make a good point there. Weiss helped me out with putting the neural relay chip into your sonic screwdriver, didn't she?" I asked, catching River's sonic screwdriver in my hand. "Not Volume 11 Weiss. But chibi Weiss."

"Bye, everybody!" Blossom said, taking off.

I had the camera turn up slightly, putting the others out of view.

"She did. You and Team RWBY are rather close. No matter if it is their original selves or their Chibi selves." River said, frowning.

"See you later!" Buttercup said, flying across, waving.

"Same time…" Bubbles said, flying across, her voice fading. "…same place!"

On the ground, the kids look up in awe—the girls' light trails have made a rainbow for them. The kids cheer again as it fades; the wheelchair boy rolls back and forth in excitement.

The Library / Townsville…

"You know, Melody." I said, looking at River and eating some jelly babies. "This adventure is more on the laid back side."

A school bus stopped on a city street. It pulls away, revealing the four kids previously mentioned standing on the sidewalk. They walked away, with Mary in front. She walks back to face them, her arms stretched in front of her as if flying.

"Look at me!" Mary said, while I had the camera following them. "I'm Blossom! Whoosh!"

The other three make noises of approval.

"Hence why you chose to hang out with me." River said, sipping her glass of wine. "Physically, you're still in Townsville. But you're using the AmuSphere."

"I can't really leave the girls, you know. Not until the season is over." I said, looking down at the ground.

"Gee, it would be neat to fly like they do." Kim said, happily.

"Yeah." Joey said, smiling.

"I'd want to have all the powers." Jeff said.

"Fire power!" Mary chirped.

"And ice breath." Kim said, as Mary pretends to blow an arctic gust.

"And don't forget them zappy eyes." Joey said.

They stop.

"Zappy eyes?" Kim, Jeff, and Mary asked, at the same time.

"You know…" Joey said, squinting. "…them lasers!"

The four continue down the street. They're in a dark alley, in which a pair of narrowed eyes appears. The four kids are just outside the mouth of the alley, pointing down the sidewalk toward the kids; we hear them talking as they approach.

"Ah. You told me about him." River said, looking at the augmented reality screen. "Mojo Jojo."

A short figure dressed in a gray trench coat and huge fedora watches the kids. This individual wears white boots similar to those favored by Mojo Jojo and watches the kids for a few seconds before ducking into the alley to avoid being seen too early by the kids.

"Mojo isn't that bad, River. He just needs some love." I said, looking up at the augmented reality screen. "I think he also needs some therapy."

The Library / The alley…

The figure watches as the kids start to walk into view. Now we see that its ears are the same shade of green as Mojo's ears.

"Super speed and X-ray vision…" Jeff said, from around the corner.

"Yeah! That's what I want to have." Mary said.

A hissing sound from nearby brings her up short. The others look nervously around themselves in an attempt to find the source since it sounded the moment she mentioned wanting to have the same powers as the Powerpuff Girls. The group is gathered at the mouth of the alley, looking in, then they walk farther in steps to show the buildings and the entire block. The hissing continues; and to its source—the figure in the hat and coat. It is indeed Mojo, trying to whistle and failing quite badly at it. He runs out of breath and inhales to start again; before he can blow, though, the group continues walking towards Mojo. The kids are gathered around him now, and they don't look too happy to see him.

"Yeah?! What do you want…" Mary said, accusatory. "…you STRANGER?!"

Mojo looks nervously at them for a long, tense moment due to them surrounding him on all sides, then regains his composure, knowing he needs to talk his way out of this situation rather than risk a beatdown if he doesn't calm the kids' hostility immediately.

Mojo is tipping his hat, exposing brain cap, which the kids don't take notice of.

"Allow me to introduce myself, after which I will no longer be a stranger. I am Mojo Jo…" Mojo said, trailing off momentarily, realizing he's going to blow his cover if he says his real name, especially after dodging a bullet when they didn't recognize his brain cap. "…jo Overcoat. And I have something that you want."

Mojo's perspective of the group was surprised and uneasy with what he wants to show them.

"Superpowers!" Mojo said, continuing in a salesman's tone. "Yes! You too can have the same superpowers as the Powerpuff Girls, simply by using…" He produced a small black box from behind back. "...this!"

"Is that one of those boxes that had cubes invade Earth?" River asked, looking at the box.

"Nope." I said, sipping on a cup of tea. "It isn't."

"Yes. This contraption contains the amazing…" Mojo said, his voice echoing through the alley. "…Chemical X!"

I had one of my cameras look at an empty patch of an alley.

"And it will give you.." Mojo said, leaning into view of the kids, he continues. "...all the powers that the Powerpuff Girls possess…" The kids look at Mojo. "...and that you desire."

"They're not going to fall for this? Are they?" River asked, looking at me.

Mojo looks at the kids.

"They will." I said, sadly.

"Together you will be a wonderfully diverse and multi-ethnic superhero team…" Mojo said, still looking at the kids. "...perhaps saving the environment, or whatever."

The alley wall has the shadows of the five visible.

Mojo holds up the box, "Now, who wants some?"

The kids began clamoring for a little of what Mojo has to offer. The box is in Mojo's hand as the camera goes entirely black.

"Darling, you lost the visual of Mojo and the kids." River said, looking up at the augmented reality screen.

"I know." I said, knowing that a shaft of brilliant white light cuts across the screen and widens. "Yui, you there?"

"I'm on the case." Yui said, popping into the room and flying towards the screen. "What's happening in Townsville?"

"Mojo let some kids get their hands on Chemical X." I said, as Yui touched the screen for us to get a side view of Mojo, the partially opened box in his hands, and a particularly nasty grin on his face before he let it fly. "Shit."

"What are you going to do?" Yui asked, tilting her head.

"Darling, do you have a plan?" River asked, looking at me.

The light pours out and shoots toward the four kids, bathing them in radiance for a few seconds. Mojo laughs insanely as the light flashes over the entire block.

"I don't have a plan. But the Powerpuff Girls do." I said, smirking. "Give it time. They'll figure it out. They always do. Even if those kids decide to help them."

After a few seconds, the light fades away and in the alley, the kids are bobbing up and down slightly and looking positively ecstatic.

"Oh, my gosh!" Mary said, and they are floating in midair. "We're flying!" The other three are similarly surprised. "Wow, Mr. Overcoat! Thanks!"

The others express their gratitude effusively.

"You're very welcome, kids. But there's something I need you to do for me." Mojo said.

This makes them rather nervous.

"Uh…what?" Mary asked.

"Have fun!" Mojo said, excitedly.

The kids laugh.

"Okay!" The kids said, flying away. "Bye, Mr. Overcoat!"

The camera gave an overhead view of Mojo.

"Have a good time, little dudes…" Mojo said, waving, as his face takes on an evil smile. "…while you can!"

Mojo laughed evilly as I used the camera to pull back to bring most of the city into view.

The Library / Townsville…

The kids fly across, thoroughly enjoying their new abilities. We see the reflection of Jeff in an office building's windows as he steers his wheelchair along; now he pulls into view of one of my security cameras and dodges an oncoming helicopter easily before ducking over one building and behind another.

"I'm flying!" Jeff said, from behind a building and emerging into view of my security cameras again. "I'm flying!"

"Those kids are enjoying their superpowers way too much." River said, drinking a glass of red wine.

Jeff zooms toward the camera I set up; and in the suburbs as another of the kids flies up. I had the camera zoom in and it was Mary. After a few seconds, she sniffs the air and her eyes pop open.

"They're kids." I said, happily. "They don't know any better."

"Using her super smell powers, Super Mary smells…" Mary said, looking at an ice cream stand, and her voice is trembling. "…chocolate ice cream!"

Joey flies through Townsville. He is squinting and working his facial muscles.

"I'm gonna do it…" Joey said, straining. "I'm gonna do it…I'm gonna—yeah!"

A white laser beam shoots from Joey's eyes. I used my iPad to change the security camera view of the augmented reality screen to a side view of Joey. I had the security camera pan quickly to the right; the beam hits Kim.

"Joey!" Kim cried, when a blast of frigid air emerges from her mouth as she speaks and reprimands Joey for hitting her with his eye beams.

"My bad." Joey said, sadly.

"Are they okay?" Yui asked, looking up at the augmented reality screen.

The ice blast reaches Joey and frosts him over as payback for hitting Kim.

"Yeah. They're fine." I said, smiling.

Kim flies up and looks Joey over, "Oops."

Mary is licking an ice cream cone she is holding in her right hand. After a moment, she raises her left into view. This hand holds a second, identical cone, and she goes to work on it for a while. Mary flies through the city to join Joey and Kim.

"Mary!" Joey and Kim said, at the same time.

Jeff flies past.

"Jeff!" Mary said, looking at Jeff.

The entire group is talking excitedly. A second later, they begin to descend to the street, but do not take immediate notice of this fact. When they do, it causes some consternation.

"Hey! Why are we going down?" Mary asked.

"Golly! Maybe the Chemical X is wearing off." Joey said, sadly.

"Well, then, let's find that Jo Overcoat and get some more!" Mary said, floating down.

The Library / the alley…

At the end of the alley, Mojo is nowhere in sight since their last encounter with him. I had the turns around to show the four kids. They are visibly distraught by his absence.

"Holy smokes! Where is he?" Mary asked.

"I don't know." Kim said.

"Wh—what if he's gone?!" Joey exclaimed.

"Oh, man, I'd do anything for some Chemical X right about now." Jeff said, pulling his hair.

"Why on Earth would they say that?" River asked, sipping on her glass of wine.

"Anything?" Mojo asked, descending into view, holding on to the end of a fire escape ladder.

"Because the power makes them unable to see the truth." I said, tossing a jelly baby into my mouth.

Mojo has the black box in his free hand and is again wearing the fedora and trench coat.

"Jo Overcoat!" The kids said, relieved.

"Ta-da!" Mojo said, jumping down.

"Please, sir, can we have some more?" The kids asked, at the same time.

"Of course you can. But this time I need you to do something for me." Mojo said, looking at the kids.

"Aw…we'll have fun, all right." Mary said, sadly.

"Oh, I know you will. But I want to have fun too." Mojo said, leaning into view of the kids. "And what would be really fun for me…" He went into an evil, angry tone. "...is if you destroyed the Powerpuff Girls!"

All four kids react to this request with total shock.

"Destroy the Powerpuff Girls?! Kids, just say no!" The narrator said, worried.

Instead of heeding the Narrator's plea to refuse, they smile wickedly.

"No problem." Mary said.

"Sure." Joey said.

"Okay." Kim said.

"Cool." Jeff said.

"Good." Mojo said, opening the box.

The screen fills with white light as the Narrator speaks.

"Oh…and they used to be such good kids!" The narrator said, disappointed.

The Library / Sky…

The girls are in flight.

"Everything looks good over here. As Jared said it would be before he dove into the Library using his AmuSphere to catch up with River Song. Let's head for…" Blossom said.

"Blossom, look!" Bubbles said, pointing over the water as the kids fly up in the distance. "There's something happening across the bay!"

The kids continue their approach, faces set in anger.

"Hey, it's Jeff!" Bubbles said, looking at Jeff's direction. "What are you doing flying around?"

"Destroy Powerpuffs!" Jeff yelled.

"Look out!" Blossom and Buttercup said, at the same time.

"Look out?" Bubbles asked.

The Library / Townsville…

One of the wheels of Jeff's chair catches Bubbles upside the head and knocks her spinning. Mary lands a punch that propels her across to Joey, who connects with a hard kick and sends her off in a different direction. Kim drills her with a punch, dropping her to the dock unconscious.

Buttercup is in midair, Mary approaching from behind.

"Bubbles!" Buttercup said, worried.

Mary gets in a kidney punch and sets her up for the other three to land blows of their own. Buttercup slams down next to Bubbles, same fate. Blossom is in midair, looking very worried. Behind her, the hands of Mary and Joey are visible.

"Oh, my!" Blossom said, when all four kids have her surrounded.

"Darling, can't you do something?" River asked, looking at me.

Blossom looks about nervously just before the kids catch her in an four-way eye-laser crossfire, and she too plummets to the dock unconscious. The kids are in midair as they chuckle evilly at their accomplishment.

"Wait for it…." I said, smugly.

At ground level, Mojo, again clad in his coat and hat, peeks out from between two buildings as the sounds of approaching ships are heard. He steps cautiously over to where the girls lie prone and leans over Blossom. He picks up one of her hands to feel for a pulse, and lets it go. It falls limply to the pavement, and he stands up, laughing, and addresses himself to the kids.

"Oh, you kids did a super job!" Mojo chirped, removing his hat. "I take my hat off to you." He tore off his coat. "Well done!"

Mojo's normal outfit is now exposed. In the air, the kids gasp in shock as the truth hits them like two-by-fours to the sides of their heads and their faces go slack in horror. All their evil grins and laughter gone in an instant upon seeing that Jo Overcoat was really…

"MOJO JOJO?!?" The kids exclaimed, at the same time.

"That's why I didn't barge in this time." I said, while Mojo flies up, two jet thrusters on his back.

"None other! And now that you have destroyed the Powerpuff Girls for me…" Mojo said, flying about. "...nothing can stand in my way!" He is flying past the kids, stopping briefly. "Later, dudes."

As the kids watch, Mojo flies away, laughing insanely. I typed away on my iPad to load up my equivalent of Emergency Program One that the Doctor installed for the TARDIS. I had the hologram be in front of the kids that "destroyed" the Powerpuff Girls.

"Okay. Um. Hey." Hologram me said, in front of the kids. "This is my equivalent of Emergency Program One. Sorry, Spaceman, for ripping you off. Okay, you guys have to listen. If this message is activated, this means one thing happened. We're in danger. And I do mean fatal. I'm dead, my friends are dead, or we're all about to die any second with no way of escaping to save the day."

"That's the friend of the Powerpuff Girls!" Mary cried.

"It's okay if me and my friends don't make it. I just hoped we died as heroes. I promised to look after my friends. And that's what I am doing. If this message is going to whoever I think it is. Who I know it is going to. The Powerpuff Girls are dead or about to die." Hologram me said, looking at the four kids.

"That can't happen!" Kim said, terrified.

"I know each of you are worried about killing the Powerpuff Girls. Don't worry. Just listen a bit more, okay? I'm interfering as much as I can with this. Time is bending with how I see fit. Emergency Program One means me and my friends failed to save the world. So this is what you should do. Save the Powerpuff Girls. Without them, the whole world falls apart. Literally." Hologram me said, looking at the kids. "Bring the Powerpuff Girls back to life. Use all of the Chemical X in your veins if you have to. Or let the girls die and have the world go to hell. I've seen it happen. I know it will happen. Let this be a lesson for you to not trust Mojo Jojo again. Mojo tricked you by giving you what you want, which is the superpowers of the Powerpuff Girls. And over the years, the world will move on from the Powerpuff Girls and the world will still be standing. And if you want to remember the Powerpuff Girls, then you can do one thing. That's all I ask from me and my friends. Have good lives. Do that for us, kids. Have amazing lives."

"You ripped off the Ninth Doctor's speech." River said, looking at me.

"I had to." I said, pressing a button on my iPad for the hologram of me to disappear in front of the kids. "That speech was too good."

"It was." Yui said, smiling.

I had the camera look at Mary and each kid in turn. All of the kids are in various states of guilt, shame, or fury over being duped by Mojo and destroying their friends.

"Holy smokes! That message the friends of the Powerpuff Girls gave us! He said that we've been tricked!" Mary said, angrily.

"Yeah! It was just too good to be true." Kim said, sadly.

"We gotta stop Mojo Jojo!" Joey yelled.

"Yeah! Let's get him!" Jeff said, excitedly.

The kids are in flight as they attempt to pursue Mojo and get their revenge. When they get out over the water, though, they begin to descend again. The second dose of Chemical X Mojo given them earlier has started to wear off, rendering them unable to pursue Mojo and get their vengeance for being duped by him into taking out the Girls.

"Oh, no! We're losing our powers again!" Mary said, terrified.

"What are we gonna do now?!" Kim exclaimed.

"I have an idea, gang. Come on!" Jeff said, smirking.

The kids fly back to the dock with some difficulty and land. Mary falls a little short, but catches the edge of the platform and pulls herself up to follow the others. The girls are still unconscious. Once again, the girls are caught in a four-way blast.

"What's this?" The narrator asked, as the kids are firing beams from their hands. "The gang is using what remains of their powers to revive the Powerpuff Girls!"

Each girl wakes up as the energy washes over her. Bubbles is first, then Buttercup, and finally Blossom. They get up, one by one, in time with the next three lines.

"Hey…I feel better." Blossom said, happily.

"Me too." Buttercup said, smiling.

"Me three!" Bubbles chirped.

The kids cower and kneel, pleading and begging the girls' forgiveness for their earlier actions against them because of Mojo.

"That's okay, guys. Jared must have done Emergency Program One as his last resort. But remember." Blossom said, looking at the four kids, and she continued. "When dealing with Mojo Jojo's mojo, just say no-no!"

The kids hang their heads in guilt and shame, knowing they messed up big time. Back to the girls.

"Now let's get that monkey off our backs!" Blossom said, looking at her sisters.

The Powerpuff Girls take off, the kids watching them go.

The Library / Mayor's office…

The Mayor is at his desk. Mojo faces him.

"Well, if you destroyed the Powerpuff Girls, then, by all means, take over Townsville! It's all yours!" The Mayor cheered.

A crash shakes the room, and Mojo turns to his right in shock, surprise, and disbelief. The girls were standing in front of the window and looking very angry.

"Powerpuffs?! But..but…" Mojo said, in total shock.

"'Butt' is right! And yours is about to get kicked!" Blossom said, looking at Mojo. "Prepare to get a taste of what Chemical X can really do!"

"Oh." River said, looking at the augmented reality screen.

Blossom charges at Mojo and pulls up just behind his head.

"That had to hurt." Yui said, sadly.

The Library / Outside Townsville Hall…

Outside the window, a punch is thrown, and Mojo crashes out through the glass.

The Library / Mayor's office…

Buttercup races across the room.

The Library / Outside Townsville Hall…

The monkey plummets headfirst.

The Library / Townsville Hall…

A green blur races down the fire escape stairs next to him. Buttercup is the first to reach the ground. She pulls up a lamppost, shoulders it, and swings for the fence. A loud clang is heard, and the screen flashes white. When it clears, Mojo is rocketing across the skyline as if he were a line drive on its way to the right-field fence at Yankee Stadium. Bubbles pulls ahead of Mojo and lands at the base of a building that has a razor-wire fence around it. She looks up in dismay.

The Library / Outside Townsville Jail…

"Good work, Bubbles." I said, sipping a cup of coffee. "She did amazing."

Mojo is in free fall, and the building is the jail. Bubbles puts her shoulder to the wall and pushes the entire structure several yards so that Mojo crashes through the ceiling.

"Yeah. She did." River said, drinking her glass of red wine.

The Library / Townsville Jail…

Mojo falls into a cell, and his cape settles over his battered form as the door slams shut, locking him in to serve his sentence.

"Jared. A newspaper came out thousands of years ago." Yui said, loading up another augmented reality screen that shows the view as the photo on the front page of the Townsville Tribune. The headline: 'MOJO PUSHES TOO FAR—IS NOW BEHIND BARS.' "Mojo ended up in prison again."

Yui giggled a little, knowing this was likely to happen.

"Yeah. Mojo is the main villain of the show." I said, laughing along with Yui.

The Library / Pokey Oaks Kindergarten…

The girls are at the front of the kindergarten classroom. Blossom is holding the newspaper.

"And you see?" Blossom asked, looking at Ms. Keane and the class. "That's why you should stay away from strangers."

The four kids who fell for Mojo's scam still look very remorseful and ashamed from being duped by him.

"Um…girls…we just wanted to say we're all really sorry." Mary said, sadly.

The others echoes Mary's sentiment.

"That's okay, guys. It wasn't your fault." Bubbles said.

"We know you'd never hurt us on purpose." Blossom said.

"Yeah, Mojo put some funny stuff in that so-called 'Chemical X', and it really messed with your heads." Buttercup said, looking at the kids.

"Well, one thing's for sure. We'll never talk to or take anything from strangers again!" Mary yelled.

"We promise!" The kids said, holding up one hand each.

I had the camera move to point along the desk shared by Mary and Jeff.

Mitch Mitchellson is in the seat next to the kids, "But what was it like, havin' superpowers and all?"

All four kids excitedly recount their adventures to him. The girls are still at the front of the room.

"Yeah, it is pretty cool." Blossom said, smiling.

"Really cool." I said, drinking my cup of coffee.

(Open POV)

The standard end shot comes up.

"Aww, what a great ending! So once again the day is saved—thanks to the Powerpuff Girls!" The narrator cheered, tenderly. "Oh, I just love these stories where you laugh and learn."
