The pictures he took made her look like a goddess. She lost words for a few moments while Ji Hoon stood on her side, feeling pride in what he did.
"That's... simply amazing," she honestly said before turning to him and giving him the camera, "from now on you'll be my personal photographer."
"Hahaha, Lady I can tell you that I'm too expensive to hire me for extra time," he joked and yet she hit his chest with a weak punch.
"Don't mistake anything to be pricey for me," she chuckled and he could only shake his head.
"Alright, is there anywhere we can buy drinks and food from this place?" Ji Hoon turned around while all he could see was a deserted place.
"This place has no shop to sell that," Anna said in regret. At this moment she would love to have anything, even ice cream would be great.
Being with Ji Hoon now, at this moment, tasted like something else.
"Let's continue to shoot more pictures then," Ji Hoon jumped around in an energetic way, "then you can invite me to dinner later on."
"The sun is still on," Anna laughed while following him around.
For hours the two kept jumping around from one place to another. Anna never had such fun in her life before.
Every time Ji Hoon took a photo for her, she felt like she was seeing someone else.
Every shot was unique. In every shot she looked happy, carefree, and different.
She looked like she was enjoying this day, like she did years ago with her parents.
She came here so many times already and yet she never had such fun before. Things seemed to be so good to be real, and thus destiney decided to play its prick over the two of them at the middle of the day.
After four hours of jumping, laughing, and taking photos, the two were already feeling hungry.
Ji Hoon had this weird feeling, like he knew her from before this moment. He mistook it for meeting her last night, but after these four hours he knew this wasn't the case.
He felt like he was alive with her, and she felt like she found her missing soul. In fact she was living a lie her entire life, trying to be the good girl who listened to orders and rules.
She was born in such an aristocratic and powerful family after all. But in these few hours she felt so much happiness than she ever felt before in her entire life.
And her feeling of knowing Ji Hoon didn't fade away, instead it deepened. That started by nagging her, and ended up being some mystery she wanted to unveil.
She wanted to ask him about it herself, but she refrained from doing so. After all he was a mere human, and she was a werewolf.
The only explanation she had, which was something pretty much impossible to believe, was that in their past lives the two of them were close.
But aside from this nearly impossible and hard to prove theory, she had no other possible explanation at all.
Just as they were about to have a few minutes of rest, where their faces beamed with joy, something weird happened.
Anna's nose moved. She sniffed something filthy in the air. In the next moment she stood up while all her senses were jolted awake in an alert way.
And that didn't miss the keen senses of the human next to her.
"What happened?" Ji Hoon couldn't help but ask.
"You..." She looked at him and for the first time in her life; she had someone she felt precious to lose.
Even her late alpha, the one who was selected by the elder council to be her future husband, never felt something like this towards him.
Not to mention her rude and cold hearted brother whom she didn't trust at all.
"What about me?" Ji Hoon glanced all around himself but found nothing wrong.
"You... I need to leave now!`` She couldn't help but make such a decision at the moment.
After all, what she sniffed wasn't something pleasant.
She sniffed blood scent, blood of her own kin being spilled. And just now the wind carried alongside it something more unpleasant.
'Vampires... How the hell do they dare to come at me?' she couldn't help but feel more rage the more she thought about it.
This attack was directed at her, aiming at the current alpha of the werewolf pack. It wasn't a surprise as she knew all about how daring these vampires became.
However from what she heard, they were just targeting small groups of werewolves and those weak packs around the country. She never heard of vampires acting so daring in her city.
And now they just came to ruin her perfect day, a day she never had alike for such a long time already.
She turned to gaze up at Ji Hoon. For an instant there she felt an overwhelming worrying feeling on him. She didn't want him to get involved in such a fight.
After all, her guards were one of the best of the enforcers in her pack. They were elites. Getting killed like that meant two things...
These vampires came in large numbers and they brought their best!
Facing such a threat, she had no choice but to go all out.
'Come back inside!' she didn't hesitate to use the mind link she enjoyed with her guards. Anyone close to her would listen to her message, even that ungrateful butler and dirty brother.
But she never held any hopes for any of them to come to help. For one the distance from their current locations at the headquarter would take at least half an hour for them to arrive.
Plus she never trusted them to hurry to her aid ever she needed them.
"What do mean by that?" Ji Hoon felt peculiar at the moment. He was just having his fun with her.
