After 4 days of training, well if you could call it that after the second day Jack could cast "Incendio" almost perfectly as it wasn't exactly the hardest thing in the world to cast. It wasn't its difficulty to cast that made the training obsolete it was the amount of training he could do, as he could only cast it 4 times with Maelstrom before collapsing it may take 3 minutes for the "training" to be done.
On the second day of training Adrian instead made jack only use The ring, this time it was only after 40 minutes of casting "Incendio" that Jack felt like collapsing, therefore both Jack and Adrian concluded that Maelstrom is just that heavily demanding on Jacks magical reserve.
Once the short amount of training was done a loud knock was heard from the main entrance of the house so Hailan shouted up the stairs "Jack, are you ready".
"Yes mom I'm ready" Jack replied while quickly walking down the stars.
"Do you have everything".
"Yes, dad I have the pendant which holds all the books, my staff, extra clothes, toothbrush, and the other hundred things I'm bringing" Jack once again replied this time slightly annoyed that they wouldn't trust him with something so basic.
Knock Knock Knock.
"Looks like Mr. busy is getting impatient, so let's not keep him waiting," Adrian said while walking to the door.
"I still don't understand why you can't take me," Jack said while also walking to the door.
"Because we already went against the emperor's orders for taking you to get your school supplies, and because you are so valuable they probably won't let you out of their sight when you are going so far" Adrian calmly stopped to answer the same question that Jack had asked at least a dozen times.
"Alright, fine" after hearing the same explanation multiple times he just conceded as there was no point in asking otherwise.
Once Adrian finally got to the door and opened it, a giant amount of people were strewn about the street and atop the roofs of the neighbor's houses, about 40, all of them rid on a black horse with deep purple runes carved into their bodies. When Hailan saw the horses she frowned deeply but didn't say anything.
"Finally, you answer your door," The headmaster said with annoyance laced inside every word "Alright Jack let's go".
Jack was already starting to dislike the man in front of him, simply because of the way he is treating his parents, still, he walked out under the instruction of him, once he stood next to the man he whistled to the back of the group of people after which a giant Horse galloped in front the boy.
This horse was bigger than the others, while its muscles were noticeably denser and had more in general. Its hair is multiple shades darker and the runes shined a very deep Gold instead of purple; the saddle was a light black with golden Embroidery in a cherry blossom tree pattern across the edges.
"This is a Chinese Warhorse of the Huangdi breed, from the imperial stable; it's also the brother of the emperor's personal warhorse, so treat it well," The headmaster said while adding "This will be your Horse till either it dies or you do,".
"By the way, My name is Lai Shuang".
Once Jack mounted the giant horse with a lot of difficulties as the horse was as tall as him, the horse neighed and reared up, while the Golden runes glowed furiously making all the other horses rear up as well surprising everyone.
After Jacks's horse finished rearing up it dashed down the street instigating all the other horses to do the same, eventually they all caught up but by that time jack was nearing a two-story house which they just jumped over with absolutely no problems at all.
After a couple of minutes, the other people caught up by then they already left the city and were heading northwest towards the mountains, because the mountains are very forested the horses were bobbing and weaving through the trees while also being only a blur.
Despite what Jack had seen on tv with the harsh bumping up and down, he expected to not be able to feel anything below his waist for a week, but the saddle absorbed all the impacts, not only that but there wasn't even any wind blowing in his face even when they were easily going at least 150 mph; well Jacks Huangdi horse was easily going 150 mph the other horses were visibly trying much harder to match its speed even then it was the Huangdi Horse that had to slow down multiple times to let the other horses rest a little before once again going faster.
"Hahaha, this is incredible" Jack screamed as he watched the quickly passing view on the left.
After what seemed like an hour they reached a cliffside over looking at a giant lake which the horses ran across the edge, after a couple of seconds all of them turned to the side jumping off the cliff, and were hundreds of feet away from the cliff from momentum alone.
All the while jack was screaming but halfway down to the ground he stopped.
Once the horses landed on the ground effortlessly, everyone looked at Jack who seemed to be falling in slow motion of the horse, even the eyes of Jack's unnamed horse widened because that fall would be fatal.
Bang bang bang.
Everyone in the group ear's rang with the sound of Jack crashing and violently rolling on the ground.
