Dragneel... Dragneel... Ah! Dragneel!

I don't remember how I even got here. I was running towards Lucy when suddenly bam! Amnesia hits me. Then, next thing I know. I'm in a restaurant where Natsu and Happy are THROWING FOOD EVERYWHERE!!!

How does Lucy even cope with this guy? No, how does she even like this guy?

I immediately started zoning out the minute I hear Lucy talk about joining FairyTail. I started shoving food into my mouth as I looked around the room. My eyes stopped on the salmon-head in front of me. There was something familiar about him....

"We're here 'cause we heard a Salamander was coming to this town," Natsu said, chewing on a pizza. "But it was someone else."

Natsu put down his pizza and crossed his hands.

"A Salamander's a fire dragon, so we thought he'd be Igneel."

I perked up at the word Igneel. Could this person be who I thought I was? I was so consumed about thinking of my future that I completely forgot where I was!

To my left, Lucy was sweatdropping.

"What kind of person looks like a fire dragon?" she asked.

Natsu, being the dense person he is, replied with a STRAIGHT face: "He's not a person. Igneel is a dragon."

"Huh?" Lucy said confused and dumbstruck.

Happy burst in for the first time in the conversation.

"Aye! He's an actual dragon!"

Lucy finally seemed to understand what they were saying.

"HUH?!"

She backed away from them and hugged me. Then she noticed I was awake.

"Oh, Yume! You're awake!" she exclaimed, flashing a smile at me.

I smiled back, but a question was at the edge of my lips. I wanted to ask, but what if I interrupt an important of the conversation? Oh, what do I do?

Even in this world of magic, dragons are very rare creatures that are hardly ever seen.

I blinked and looked around. Was that just me or was someone talking? Lucy just suddenly realized something, naturally, because she's less dense than Natsu and Happy combined.

"Why would there be a dragon in the middle of the town?" Lucy shrieked.

Natsu and Happy froze, just realizing that fact. I facepalmed. Mentally, of course.

Lucy sweatdropped again. "You just now realized that?!"

She sighed and pulled money out of her pocket and leaned forward to put it on the table. I grabbed her hand to stop her and shook my head. I summoned money and put it down.

"Let's go, Lucy," I said, getting up. I smoothly grabbed my shades off the table and got out of the booth.

"Well, we should be going. Enjoy your food." I said, walking towards the door with Lucy following me from behind.

The waitress at the door bowed slightly at us and said, "Thank you! Come again!"

Then she looked behind us and had a shocked look on her face.

We turned around and saw Natsu and Happy kowtowing on the floor. I almost had a heart attack. I knew this was going to happen, I just wasn't prepared for the shock.

"Thank you for the meal!"

"For the meal!"

"Stop it! You're embarrassing us!" I shouted my face flushing red.

Lucy jumped in front of me, helping me out.

"It's okay. You helped me, so now we're even!" she stammered.

Natsu turned towards Happy.

"We weren't trying to help her, though..." Natsu whispered.

"Aye, I still feel indebted..." Happy responded.

Lucy facepalmed and let out a sigh. Then a lightbulb lit up next to Natsu's head. Oh no...

"You can have this!" he said, smiling. He held out the Salamander signature out to Lu-chan.

She was mad. I could tell. With a face that red with steam coming off it, who couldn't?

"Don't want!" she roared.

She grabbed me by the hand and took me out of the restaurant. Just before I got out, I yelled out my question.

"Hey, salmon-head!" I yelled to Natsu.

"Yeah?" He responded to me with a chicken drumstick in his mouth.

"What's your name?" I shouted.

We were almost out the door. Come on, Natsu. Hurry up and answer me. Wait, shouldn't I know this?

"It's Natsu! Natsu Dragneel!" he said with his signature cocky smile.

Dragneel... I should've known. That's my last name. Could I be... related to Natsu?
