"Fuck this!" Kaden roared and thrust his feet outwards, stopping his momentum in track and transferring it into another Geppou.
Only this time, he kicked off the air with all his strength with only one of his legs and forced himself into a rapid spin, "Rankyaku!" he shouted as he turned around, using the momentum he built up to launch his other leg out and create a massive blade of air that tore towards the hail of blades.
The wind blade slashed into many of them, tearing them from the air in a symphony of groaning and grinding metal.
It did not stop all of them, but it gave him enough leg room to continue his spin and fire off another Rankuya, and then another in quick succession, three massive air blades taking care of the vast majority of the devil fruit created blades.
"Rot in hell!" Graydle's snarling voice alerted Kaden to his approach before a shadow fell over him.
Kaden looked up and gaped as an utterly titanic spiked mace easily a hundred feet wide swung down through the air towards him, attached to a supremely long tentacle of liquid metal that Graydle's arm had transformed into.
…He hadn't even sensed it, too pre-occupied with the haul of blades.
His observation haki was still way too immature!
It was so big and so fast.
On instinct, he brought his arms together guarding his chest, neck and face, "TEKKAI!" he roared and concentrated his haki into his arms as much as possible.
Even if it wasn't a lot.
The massive mace struck him like a falling meteor and smashed Kaden down into and through the ground.
He felt his bones crunch, wounds open up across his body, agony erupting through his being and then the force of it all just stunned the thoughts straight out of his bed.
He couldn't think.
He couldn't breathe.
His vision went dark and his eyes shut.
He returned to consciousness as the massive mace lifted off of him and retracted back into Graydle's arm, the man standing at the top of the crater he'd smashed him into, a sneer on his lips, "Right where you belong you worm, in the dirt," the vice admiral nodded, his arm transitioning into a spiked lance, "Now die."
Kaden stared blankly up at the man as he lifted his arm and pointed it towards him. He could barely feel anything beyond the pain.
This was it…this was how he died? To some bootlicker who only got to where he was because he slurped the farts out of his disgusting kins asses? This was all he was worth?
His fist tried to clench, nails scrabbling in the dirt and finding no purchase.
The metal arm lance stretched towards him at a rapid speed and Kaden's perception of the world slowed, his pitiful life flashing before his eyes.
He had accomplished nothing. Back home, he was a no name orphan that nobody had cared about at all. Just when he things were beginning to go his way, he was stolen from his world and his body. Deposited in the body of immortal freak that fled his own body because he was afraid of dear old grandpa after finding out the truth of his birth.
Three months of back breaking training putting everything he'd had knowledge of to try and make something of himself, thinking of a plan to make up for the shit storm his fool of an other self had left him in…
Only to be killed off, by a piece of trash who would happily slurp on his previous self's knob end just because he had the blood of a Celestial Dragon?
All that, everything he was….amounting to….absolutely nothing?
"LIKE HELL!" Kaden roared, pushing past the pain he thrust one hand up, tensing his muscle with all he had, "TEKKAI!" he roared his defiance against his fate, bolts of black energy crackling around his form and blasting out in a wave of force.
The lance pierced into his palm, digging an inch deep into it, piercing the bone, but not any further.
The wave of Conqueror's haki that erupted from Kaden slammed into Graydle and the man gagged as his eyes rolled into the back of his head and he staggered backwards.
It stunned him, for only a moment.
But it was enough.
With a roar, Kaden pushed himself to his feet, his fingers clenching around the metal lance digging into his palm and pulled with all his might.
Graydle was pulled right up off of his feet and dragged rapidly into the crater towards Kaden, who reached into his pocket with his free hand and pulled it out to reveal a jagged sea green spike.
Awareness returned to Graydle's eyes a moment later, just in time for him to come face to face with Kaden as he stepped forward into a Soru and blitz'd forward and blinding speeds.
And thrust the sea stone spike straight through his throat.
Graydle gurgled around the spike piercing his throat and his hands clawed at Kaden's arm.
Only for Kaden to smash his haki infused fist into the mans face. And then again, and again.
Holding him by the spike in his throat, Kaden wailed on the vice admirals face with his fist until his face turned into a mush of broken bone and blood and he went limp.
Only then did Kaden let him go, dropping his corpse to the ground, before dropping onto his backside with a delirious laugh.
'I was lucky.' the teenage marine traitor giggled to himself. Graydle didn't seem to be like other Vice Admirals. He relied on his fruit entirely, didn't know the Rokushiki and didn't seem to know how to use haki either even if he apparently knew about it.
If the man had been like any other Vice Admiral with that fruit on top? He would have had no chance at all.
It was luck he won.
But he did win.
"I….can do this." Kaden breathed out with a laugh even as his ribs throbbed with agony.
He'd defeated a high tier logia. Even with his limited potential, even with his limited amount of time and training.
He wasn't a pathetic loser like his other self.
Which reminded him-
Kaden reached into his jacket, now soaked with blood and pulled out a banna wrapped up nice and safe.
Somehow, the thick padding of his jacket had been enough to stop it from getting squished.
He unwrapped it and stared at it, before sighing as he noticed no changes at all, it was just a plain old normal banana.
"Damn…guess my luck isn't that grea-" Kaden' eyes widened and he cut himself off as before his eyes the banana began darkening in colour until it was a dark metallic grey with jagged spiky wavy doting across it.
