The Meeting on the Way

"The first match will be Jyousei Shounan, their male team didn't make it to the Nationals but the female team do excel, they have different coaches here so we must be careful knowing that they are strong, they almost made it to the semi finals of last year's national tournament." Explained by Ryuzaki sensei, "Yamada, as the captain I'll leave the group up to you and Aoi. Ganbatte!"

"Hai, sensei! Seigaku, let's go" it was Yuuki who led the team to their match. The female and male nationals have different venues. Along the way they met several players of the other male team of Rikkaidai. "So they are the female team of Seigaku, I never thought that the female team would perform well too." It was the red haired guy who was chewing bubble gum

When Megumi noticed the presence of the Rikkaidai players, she turned to Riku "Eh, Riku, that is Rikkaidai players right?" "Huh? Where? Ah! What are they doing here?" Riku is so surprised

"I don't want to bump them on the way but they are all scattered there, though their captain looks so serene and calm, I don't like the aura of their fukubuchou." When both teams encounter each other on their way, the female club can feel the pressure of Rikkaidai's aura, except for Yuuki who…

"Hey, excuse us, don't you guys have manners, make a way for us girls" she said seriously to the boys who are in the way

"Yamada-chan!" it's was Riku and Aoi,

"What? They are scattered on the way and it pisses me off." Pointing to the guys who were in the middle of the path, who happened to be Sanada and Yukimura.

"Yamada-chan, they are Rikkaidai team players" Aoi whispered while Yuuki who is still clueless

"Who's Rikkaidai?" she said loudly that cause the other male members of the team to turn their heads, then the seaweed haired guy walk in front of her

"Hey, you're a bossy one, you said you don't know us Rikkai?"

"And who is this seaweed haired guy? Tsk! C'mon let's go we'll be late for the match" she pass by the guy in front of her

"Looks like you're the only one who have the guts to talk to us like that young lady?" a guy with a headband and blue curly hair told her "I'm Seiichi Yukimura, Rikkaidai's buchou, this is Genichirou Sanada, the fukubuchou… I'd like to say an apology for hindering your team on the way; may I know who you are?"

"I'm Yamada Yuuki… Seigaku female team's buchou… You better tell your members that they do not own the pathway." She said and was about to pass when Sanada spoke up

"Yuu-chan?" he said in such a surprised voice

"Hey? You called me what?`` She looks at him and stops for a moment. They are both staring at each other.

"Did Sanada just call her Yuu-chan? I'm getting really confuse of her" it was Nanami

Yuuki was the first one to recover, "Chirou-chan???" She moved closer, gave him a hug that made Sanada blush and he pushed her a little. "Hey, we're not kids anymore."

"When did you come back?" It was Sanada who looked so glad and for the first time he was seen smiling while talking with a girl so the other members' faces are like this (o.O)?? (O.O)?? (+o+)

"Sanada-san is talking with a girl? That's weird !" it was Marui-san who have seen Sanada to talk with a girl for the first time

"That girl is something" it was Yagyu who puts his specs in place and take a look at Sanada and Yuuki who are merrily talking with each other

"Sanada, mind you telling us who she is?" it was Niou

"She's a childhood friend"

"So, Chirou-chan is a member of this tennis club?" it was Yuuki

"Yes, we are last years' champion and we are heading to our third championship." He explained

"I see. Well, you guys better work hard" she replied and Megumi elbowed her lightly and whispered

"Yamada, what are you talking about… don't you know the issues about Rikkai and Seigaku"

"Huh?" Yuuki who is still clueless

"Ah, BTW the male team of your school is in the nationals, and also the female club" it was Yukimura "well, same as you guys give your best and don't hold back" then he wave and keep on going on the path

"Yes, work hard for your team Yuu-chan, us Rikkai will not hold back. See you next time." Said Sanada and walk on the path Yukimura is, and the other members do follow their buchou

"Don't hold back…" whispered by Yuuki

"Yamada-buchou, it is 95% that Rikkai trained so hard so that no one can stop their third consecutive championship, even Seigaku" it was Sunako who spoke for the first time

"Oh, I see, well good luck on them!"

"Say, Yamada, who really are you? Why did Sanada talk to you like you were friends? Are you hiding something from us?" it was Megumi who questioned her

"I am Yuuki Yamada, and Chirou-san is a childhood friend, I am not hiding anything from you guys, it's just you haven't known me yet" she paused and take a deep breath "You guys heard them, we better show them what we work hard from the camp, and let them see that we will reign the Nationals" and for the first time she let a smile for the team that let them all jaw drop from what they have seen

"Am I just dreaming or did Yuuki-buchou really smile?" it was Risa who looks like this (+O.O+)

"Since we came from that camp she has become weird…" it was Riku

"Indeed, what happened to her?" It was Aoi, and then she looked at Megumi and remembered what she said on the first night at the Villa about Yuuki and Tezuka on the same room

"Wait… what if?" the three of them Aoi, Megumi and Riku think the same (LOL I can't explain it much just make your imagination work! Hahaha be a pervert for the meantime) and they all followed Yuuki and the match against Jyousei Shounan started.

The female club won the first match, and lost the second. Now the score is two on two, now the final match is between the captains of both female clubs. Yuuki and Mika Sakuragi, the first set of the match was quite tight. But at the end of the match Yuuki won the game by 6:3 and the team advanced to the next round. Same as the male club they both advanced to the nationals.

Several weeks later the team still continues training especially when the male club has Ryoma Echizen back fresh from America. While the female team does get along well together, the other members who are not that active began to start training and get serious, like Sakuno who works hard to learn how to volley. Though they do all get along in the team there are still some people who don't like Yuuki Yamada, and they are the Fan girls of the male club. Since they all came back from the camp there are rumors about Yuuki and Tezuka together but the two never say a thing about it. It causes them not to talk that much in school, in the end Fuji always accompanies Yuuki whenever she is alone because they were in the same class Aoi, Megumi and Riku were in different classes, Eiji always sees Oishi so Fuji is the one who was left.

"Here…" it was Fuji who gives a pack of chocolates to Yuuki who was leaning over the window

"Thanks" and starts to unwrap the chocolates and eat it happily and with so much pleasure, it was lunch break but she is eating a pack of chocolate while Fuji is eating the meal his sister made for him, he awed to see how Yuuki managed to survive her day with eating chocolates only

"Yuuki-chan, do you eat bento?" he asks

"Uhm yeah, why?"

"Would you like to share my lunch?"

"Oh, no… Thanks… I'm fine with my chocolates, this is lunch for me."

"But it is unhealthy to eat only that, don't you prepare a meal before going to school? Here" As he offers the bento to her

"But, it's your lunch…"

"No it's fine, you should eat properly and nationals is getting intense you might collapse in no time when your body is not properly getting nutrition. And besides, it worries me look at yourself you're so thin, you should eat this before Inui prepare a menu for your food" and gives one of his soft smile

"Uh thank you… I'm sorry for making you worried. Promise I'll eat properly next time before Inui gives me a menu" and they both laugh at that though (Inui who is in the research lab sneezed and wondered why?)

"Look, they're sharing Fuji-sama's lunch…" said the fan girl1

"I really don't like her… first it was Tezuka-sama and now it's Fuji-sama" fan girl 2

"Let's stop her plan from flirting all of the male members of Seigaku"

"Geez she really gets on my nerves!"

"She will not succeed, just wait and see…" it was a very scary threat before they left the room were the clueless Yuuki is smiling
