Chapter 5 Creation Magic

Time elapsed only to wake up again in the [Void] as Atlas called it.

"Congratulations looks like you have a good nap don't you?"

"Ughh... What happened? "

"Well you see, your body needs to adjust itself from the newfound energy i have given to you hence why the sudden 'nap' occurred"

I clenched my fist and look at my body to see any if any changes occurred while I'm taking a 'nap'.

"It doesn't seemed like anything is wrong"

"No, there's something of concern"

my eyes widened after hearing that there's a problem with my body. Atlas chuckled.

"Don't worry Saito this isn't a problem that cannot be fixed"

Cold sweat runs down my face as i breathe out a sign of relief i then question Atlas the problem.

"Do you know what the problem is and you know how to fix it?"

"Yes and a no the problem in question is your mana control , you are leaking out a considerable amounts of mana and because of it there are some certain risks namely mana consumption is higher and [Magical Beast] can be attracted to your [Mana]"

Atlas' words has raised some questions in to my brain.

(Why Yes and a No?, aslo a [Magical Beast]?)

Since Atlas is the Mage of Creation it is a good idea to ask him some questions.

"Question, why is it that you said that the problem can be fixed but at the same time cannot?, and what is a [Magical Beast]?"

"Haha, I'm not going to help you. You need to fix the problem yourself so this could act as some kind of training, as for the [Magical Beast] they are animals or beasts that has absorbed alot of [Mana] making them stronger than thier counterparts and also giving them the ability to use magic"

"Is that so, But i don't even know how to use your magic"

"Oh about that let me teach you how, there are two main ways of using magic. The first one is [Chanting] as the name suggests you chant the spell, it takes some time to do but it's pretty useful for begginers. The other one is [Runic Glyphs] it is the combination of runes and glyphs making it one of the hardest ways to use magic but it's output will definitely be stronger and some [High-Level Magic] can only be used using [Runic Glyphs]"

"Then that means i just need to chant the spell since I'm only just beginning"

"No, as i said before those two are the main ways to use magic but it doesn't mean it's the only ways to use magic"

I flinched. Truthfully what he said is true however I'm only just testing the magic so why bother?

"You might be thinking right now, 'It's better to do [Chanting] since I'm only just beginning' isn't that correct?"

"!!!"

"Allow me to explain the reason"

A thick black fog appears in front of Atlas whilst balls of energy is forming behind him making a ring rotating at his back clockwise. Each and single one of them has their own unique characteristics.

"Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, Dark, Holy"

The black fog begins to disappear. It then revealed a giant wolf towering at least 15 meters tall. The wolf is dyed black with blue eyes and it has sharp claws and fangs the big wolf looks very intimating for Saito.

"Wh-What is this!, its so awesome!"

"Fufu what do you think amazing right?"

While being astonished with Atlas' magic i then remembered something quite surprising.

"Atlas why doesn't it seems like you haven't used [Chant] nor [Runic Glyph]?"

"Looks like you noticed well let me tell you why, it's because of [Creation Magic] our magic isn't just some ordinary magic and to use it we don't rely on [Chanting] nor [Runic Glyphs]"

"Hm?, why is that?"

"Hold on I'm just getting to that, like i said earlier the magic we used isn't normal so instead of using [Chant] or [Runic Glyphs] we are using [Imaginative Power] and [Visualization] and not only that our [Creation Magic] isn't bound by normal rules and just as the name suggests"

"You can create anything"

"!!!"

"As most magician can only use some set of magic or swordsman can only master a certain amounts of sword manship, you and me are different, we aren't bound by such means. Meaning we could use any magic we want while use swordmanship we want or even any kind of creature we want just like this [Fenrir]"

"What!, That's a [Fenrir]!"

I was astonished. To think that [Creation Magic] could be this overpowered but before i could even give praise Atlas said something important.

"Of course even if it's omnipotent it doesn't mean it you can use it infinitely, to use [Creation Magic] you're going to need a lot of [Mana] and a great amounts of [Imaginative Power] and [Visualisation]. In order to get [Imaginative Power] as the name suggests you are going to need your imagination meaning: be creative. While the other one [Visualisation] you need to visualize your magic or anykind of thing you wanted, but this is rather irrelevant if you have a good amount of [Mana], because the [Mana] could just replace some of your [Visualisation] however by doing so you're going to use even more mana than before"

"Now then you can fix the [Mana] leakage later, my training isn't some kind of hardcore training because i would rather let you relax and when the time is right you can fix the problem. So why don't you try the magic it now"

"H-hang on a minute there's too much information let me process them for a minute"

"..."

"Ok i get it now"

Saito raised his arms while closing his eyes he then focused his mind to use [Creation Magic].

(A curry... with rice, chopsticks)

As i focused my mind i feel my energy rampant inside me, it has a warm feeling like an embrace of a mother to it's child. A plate begins to form in the air slowly, then the curry comes after, then the rice etc.
