Chapter Five - Starting a new day

"So how are you going to start this changes?" Mary asked. She picked up the fruit basket that Julia had left and quickly threw the fruits outside the window.

"By starting a new life on a new day of course" Anna Sue replied as she lay quietly closing her eyes to rest. Mary was puzzled by that statement. She smiled and said to Mary." Here is the plan... I'll pretend to have a problem remembering things after sixty seconds and forget about everything including my husband and you will summon the other royal physician to tell him that you found me in the pond next to the royal forest"

Mary was appalled at that." Why would you do something like that?!"

" Here me out first... I'll be much free to deal with the person who plotted all this... I'll behave like a depressed delinquent with terrible intelligence capacity" She explained to Mary." But the truth is I have amnesia and can't remember somethings at all..."

Mary suddenly remembered about the suicide note. She quickly took it out of her pocket and showed Anna Sue" Here my lady...I found this on the

bedside table.... it was rather strange that you wrote this yesterday and I was honestly scared"

Anna Sue opened her eyes. She collected the paper and examined it. The message on the paper says:

Do not bother to look for me for all is forgiven and forgotten when I'm sent back to heaven. I'm. grateful that at least I have little to worry about in this deep water that will eventually take my life since everyone will not allow me in peace. I'm tired of being a princess and the wife of The crown prince.

Yours truly. Anna Rose Black.

No wonder...

A clever way of killing someone and covering up. They had planned to kill Anna Rose by drowning her and then dispose her body in the river outside the castle. Using the same handwriting as Anna Rose and implying that she wrote this was not bad at all... Even Mary thought that she had written this.

She didn't say anything again for a while and said to Mary"I think that you should get ready for another drama now because I am certain that this message was written in two papers..."

She suddenly heard footsteps from afar. As an assassin in her previous life, she had a sharp sense of hearing smell and taste. Her eyes instantly shot to look at the door. As expected, the door was opened forcefully and arrogantly by the servants of the queen and the queen came in her self.

" So Anna Rose... You've disgraced us all!... What kind of character do you have at all? ..I wish that my son had never married you in the first place.But because of his stubborn and headstrong character,he had to go get married to a good for nothing beautiful lass with no sense of responsibility!!" She heaved clearly furious.

'Of course it's the queen again' Anna Sue thought and turned to face her. What she saw momentarily stunned her. The queen had her past life mother's face!!

Shock, confusion, regret,sadness and longing all filled her but she didn't show them on her face. In her past life, her mother loved her dearly and whole heartedly and was the only woman who had been there for her. Though she was not her biological mother, Anna Sue accepted her. The woman was the real Anna Sue's birthmother and she didn't know that her real daughter was no more.

As for this situation,it was kinda confusing and frustrating for her to place her feelings and judgement. So she bravely took the bullet and decided to face the obstacle head on by....

Anna Sue quietly looked down on the bed sheets and kept mum,filtering out all other thoughts swirling around her and listened carefully for the queen's internal monologue.

[ What a poor thing! Such kind of character is not befitting of a princess...how would she stand by my son's side to help him rule and control the entire kingdom if I let my son assume the throne officially?! She rather to weak to handle all the things going on around.]

[if not for the fact that Aran sent people to secretly guard her,she would have been eliminated by our other foes the moment she stepped into this family]

[Yet. this little ungrateful girl had the audacity to write a suicide letter to me and go and commit suicide!]

Anna Sue paused slightly and inwardly thought ' Mary said that she found a suicide note on the table in this room... could it be that the servant had alerted the Queen on what happened yesterday?

As for the part that they searched for her in the entire castle and couldn't find her,the available option was to search out side of the castle. But it was much of a coincidence that they found her in the river bank and had refused to tell the queen the real truth in this matter. The first mastermind had been determined,which was Julia who was panicking the moment she decided to question her slightly.

As for her guess, Julia is a pawn for the real person behind this and so is the other woman who had shot Anna Sue. Firstly she needed to have a closer look at the bullet that was removed from her chest region to determine the kind of gun used. But first...

"I'm sorry I don't really think that I've met you"Anna Sue said starring at her with a blank face."A you a senior servant here?"

The queen was speechless. Even Mary reeled back in shock including the servants.

"What did you just address me as?!" The queen was incensed.

" My queen!... please let me explain why she is like this... she has insomnia and have a hard time remembering things in the space of sixty seconds. I've called for the physician to check her. He says that she's a bit muddled in the head."

The queen was less irritated now and calmed down instantly." What actually happened yesterday?"

She had received a suicide letter from Anna Rose which sent her in a panicked state. she had ordered for the guards to search for her.

Mary proceeded to explain to her what Anna Sue told her to say.

The queen was confused about the whole matter... although she was slightly elated at the turn of the event that happened. She had suitable candidates for the crown prince since Anna Rose had not birthed a heir for the prince.
