"Because of him we won the fight," Alex said with slight anger on his face.

"What? But he doesn't even have a bruise on his face" Elaine asked

"Cause, he clearly defeated A D-rank elemental within seconds," Abby said.

Elaine and Chris were shocked that Ray could even defeat D rank elemental.

"Looks like I have underestimated this brat, he sure gets lucky huh," Elaine thought.

"Well, there are only a few days left until you can feel your mana and control elements, let's see which element you three get until then practice as regular"

"But all we do was spar with each other and watch the videos you gave us," Chris said

"When I said you I will be teaching Aikijutsu you thought after learning you can fight like a god or what?"

"Then why are we learning?"

"Because I ain't teaching you the normal Aikijutsu which you know about, I'm not telling you to train self-defense techniques and all do you really think a fight between elementals requires too much physical combat. No, they fight with mana with elements and after one's mana is depleted they go for physical combat.

"What are you trying to say ?" Elaine asked in a frustrated manner

"See the videos I gave, spar with each other until you can control elements I can't teach you more than that, you aren't interested then you are free to leave"

"Seriously, I thought learning from a B-rank elemental will make me strong, but he ain't teaching us anything," Elaine thought in mind

"You guys don't understand the hidden meaning in these words don't you?" Alex said.

Ray and Abby were doing laps on the track.

"What hidden meaning can these words contain huh?" Elaine asked

"Yeah Ray don't you see we aren't making any progress," Chris said.

"Have you watched the videos seriously?" Alex asked

"Ye-Yeah it was all about sense other opponents predict their next moves and all!" Chris said.

The last three days of sparing and the video flashed in their minds, they were unintentionally following the moves according to the video in sparing session.

Chris and Elaine suddenly went quiet, Sanjiro saw all this and smiled seeing how Ray figured it out. After completing the laps Abby and Ray went to Sanjiro.

"Pretty fast huh, so let's start with the spar-"

Abby interrupted "Sir, teach me how to get better at controlling my elements, so far I can only make shaft made of rocks"

"Yeah, me too, I can only feel the heat inside my body I really can't create fire and control it" Ray also said.

"Isn't it easy, utilize your mana think what you want to do, In my case, I use mana from my dantian to condense hydrogen and oxygen and make water, sounds though but you really don't need to think about hydrogen and all other stuff, just feel them. After one becomes an elemental he or she can feel it naturally"

"Abby, can you feel your mana and the rock?" Sanjiro asked

"Yeah, It looks like I can feel every part of the rock that I made using my mana and change the shape," Abby said

"And what about you Ray?" Sanjiro asked

"Ah, I can feel my mana feel the heat inside my body but can't control it," Ray said

"Take it easy you two, the more you try to use your mana the more you get better in controlling elements, and the more you have mana more powerful your elemental powers are"

Sanjiro closed his eyes and lifted his right hand vertically after a few seconds he swing his hand down and then it started raining, the entire school was covered in rain.

Everyone was amazed seeing Sanjiro's abilities after a few seconds he swayed his hand and the rain stopped.

"So this is what you can do after few years of training, Ray can even burn this whole school or Abby can cover the whole school with a boulder".

"But how do I have more mana?" Ray asked

"Well the dantian typically absorbs mana from surroundings when you are asleep, every night your mana is replenished by your dantian so the amount of mana remains the same but one can also increase the mana reserves by absorbing mana from surrounding being awake and to do that you need to feel mana from your surroundings"

"For now focus on your elemental powers, once you get a deep understanding of your element you can absorb mana as you like, some S-rank elementals absorb mana every single minute from the surrounding."

"Ahm, Sir then why doesn't mana get depleted? And how is the man created?" Chris asked

"Well, we don't have that many elementals so mana is in abundance, and to your second question mana is never depleted, the most simple answer is mana is like energy that can neither be created and nor be destroyed. Haha, physics right? well, that's what it is."

"Ah, I remember now the registration has begun for the tournament to enter Proxima," Sanjiro said.

"Magnus tournament huh!" Alex looked tense.

"Why don't you spar with Abby, Ray!" Sanjiro said

"Wh-What me?" Ray said.

"Yup you defeated a hella D-ranker I want to witness your strength"

"Fine with me," Abby said and started stretching

This was the first time Ray was excited about a fight "Yeah sure" Ray said with a smile on his face.

Sanjiro thought something more interesting, "Wait why don't we hold this later until you both get strong, the winner will be the leader of the team"

"Well, then I would also like to join," Alex said.

"Same goes with me" Chris joined.

"I'll pass," Elaine said

"Ok then, before the day of the tournament we will have a spar between four of you, for now, you all spar with me, " Sanjiro said

"This time I will not hold back" Sanjiro added

"That would be fair then, Abby give me my special bat," Alex said.

Abby made a bat and gave him.

"Huh?" Alex was confused

Everyone started laughing that Abby made a baseball bat for Alex

"Are you going to play baseball with the bat" Chris laughed at him.

"Hey Hey I meant the thick one with spikes," Alex said

"What do you mean by thick one, eww creepy," Elaine said.

"Wait, that's not what I mean" Alex yelled

Chris laid on the ground intimating as Alex "Abby, please give me the thick one, Ah" and moaned

"Damn you bastard" Alex started chasing Chris with the bat Abby made.

The atmosphere was cheerful, Sanjiro sighed looking at them. After the training ended everyone went home Ray went to the part-time job. He saw Yuna already arrived.

"Ah, you came?" Ray asked with an embarrassing look.

"Ye-Yeah, I skipped two days I can't take leaves already," Yuna said

"What between you two, you guys dating?" The girl named 'Michi' who also worked at the coffee shop asked. She was the Manager's niece there who helped in the Caffee.

The Manager was responsible for making Coffees, Ray and Yuna were on part-time as waiters. And Michi worked full time.

"No No I asked casually," Ray said.

Yuna kicked Ray, "Hey, go change already"

"You didn't need to be harsh on your boyfriend Yuna," Michi said

"Hey!" Yuna yelled and glared at Michi. Michi got scared and ran away to the Manager.

A boy entered the shop, he was in the same school as Yuna, he has a crush on Yuna for a long time and finally decided to confess her.

"Raiden?"

"Hello Yuna, I was worried you haven't attended the school for three days so I came to visit you," Raiden said.

"Ahaha, Thank you Raiden I'm fine I'll come to school tomorrow, will you order something?"Yuna said with an awkward smile, she knew that Raiden has a crush on her and courted her, but she always avoided her. When she saw Raiden dressed up well she knew he was going to confess.

"Oh, well Yuna I have something to say-"

Ray appeared after changing the dress.

"Oh, you changed already?" Yuna suddenly went over to Ray and grabbed his hands. Ray was confused.

"Who might he be Yuna?" Raiden asked

"Ah, he is my brother's friend, he also works here," Yuna said and grabbed his hands more tightly.

Ray and Raiden's eyes met each other, instantly they knew that they were elementals.

"He is an elemental" Both of them thought simultaneously.
