A Hard Task Ahead

The hanging question that was bound to be asked. When Gary had pointed out the Altered’s before, Saiber had already confirmed that there were no changes in a person’s heat signature with his mask on.

So, if the Altered hunters and particularly a five star Altered hunter was unable to tell that these people were Altered, how could a complete amateur? When this happened, there was usually one good answer that people could lead to, and that was that Gary himself had to be working with the Altered’s as well.

At least this would have been Saiber’s natural train of thought, the reason he didn’t think this way, was all due to how persistent Gary had been. Constantly pushing and stating, that they were Altered.

He continued to push, and the one that had ignored that push was Saiber, but still he had to ask the question.
