Everything had been set up so the group was ready to move, even though they had suffered a loss, they were trying to go with the flow of the situation, ready to head to the Garden and deal with whatever would be inside.

Yet Kim had brought up not a small allegation, but a particularly big allegation.

“Wait, someone betrayed us?” a hunter asked. “What, so is there someone working with the Lupus group, maybe one of our connections?”

“No,” another Altered brought up. “If they’ve decided to bring it up now before we're heading to the Garden, it’s just as she said—it’s one among us.”

The hunters were thinking back to their situation on how they had been attacked. All of it felt a little strange to them.

They were starting to piece things together, and in their mind, it would have only made sense if someone had informed them of what they were doing.

A break and friction was beginning to be seen among the hunters as everyone was giving each other the side-eye.
