Kai had listened to Midwak speak, staying close to him at all times, ready to attack. Midwak would heal eventually, but he wasn’t in the same state he was in before, so there didn’t seem to be the same feeling or surge of power like last time. 


To be honest, Kai was also waiting, allowing his energy to recover. As he heard Midwak’s story, though, he had so many questions. 


"So you're now openly telling me that you went with Ylva, the Luna of the other pack, willingly?" Kai said. "All because she stated that she had some type of plan to fight against Lupus, and that’s why you’re here? Did you think that would be enough to let me just let you go?" 


Kai was clearly irritated, and there were several reasons why. 


"Why would you even believe her in the first place?" Kai asked. "She is the Luna of another Pack. You say you hate Lupus so much, and yet you trusted her to go against him. It’s quite clear they were planning to use you from the beginning.
