Kai had heard Midwak out, everything he needed to say, and it was safe to say that he believed his word, every last bit of it. Now the question was, what was he meant to do with the information he had. 


"If what you're saying is true, how much time do we even have?" Kai asked. "Why didn’t she just turn them straight away if she wanted to add them to her forces?" 


"She won’t do it," Midwak said. "To her, the timing of everything is very important in her plan. Right now, Lupus doesn’t even know about the two of them being captured. So they will be a surprise to spring on him. With the war going on, it would be a mess to have them involved now." 


Kai had almost forgotten, not every Alpha had a system screen. That was unique to Gary. So when the two were turned, Lupus would have no idea that two more members had entered his pack. 


"I can help," Midwak said. "I… helped both of them. I can take you to where they are, if she’s still there, then maybe I can distract her in some way."
