Damnon

" In that case " Rick started " Mr Isaac Williams requested that Tania be president of production with Sheila as her Vice." Rick went straight to the thing everyone wanted to know. I saw Tania's eyes open wide in shock.

" What?" Tania burst. As expected " no!, that cannot be true" I can't believe it too.

" Girl! I am not pleased to work with you either" Sheila shut her down " so just shush and let the guy finish." Seems Sheila wasn't having it today.

" Anyway," Rick brought back everyone's attention to him. " Mr. Damnon, will be the next temporary CEO, of the company with Mrs. Liv Williams being his co. CEO, until she can manage to ran the company all by herself. She will take over as CEO when Mr. Damnon finds it fit to let her be head until Mr Williams hopeful return." He said. It was my turn to looked alittle.

" No!" Tania roared. " He can't do this to me? This....this small bitch hasn't even been in the family for morethan 48 hours !!!" Tania was not happy and so was I . I had a bar to ran! I can't have myself running a company aswell.

" Look, Rick?" I rose up to my feet. To make my point serious. I think there must be a mistake somewhere. I don't have time to run the company. And you know that. Are you sure that's his actual document?" I fired. When father (Tania's dad) called me, I didn't think he was going to make me ran the company for him. Mr. Williams wasn't my biological father but he was like one to me . but this was not what I expected to be thrown to me at this point in our lives.

" first I can never fake a document. I respect my job and treat it with dignity so don't you ever say that I have the wrong document" Rick was offended "Well then, you can teach Mrs. Williams here faster so that you can leave the trouble to her." Rick shrugged asif he was not harsh a few minutes earlier.

" Can I say something?" Liv asked in a humbly voice. Am sure she wasn't expecting this too. We had completely forgotten how this affects her too.

" No!, no, you have no right to speak, you thief" Tania barked at her.

" Tania talking like it was her fault" I defended Liv even if I did not know her that much.

" Look Tania you should watch your mouth when you are talking to your boss like that" Sheila backed me up but he was clearly trying to offend her more.

" Sheila! Just shut up?" Tania had a threatening tone on when she said that

" Make me" Sheila challenged.

" Alright everyone shut up!" Liv roared and everyone went silent. Even I couldn't say anything. " Wow that was easy" she murmured to herself but I could hear it because of my super hearing. " All this must be a mistake, Sir I don't mean to offend you in any way but, Tania is right. I have no right to any of this" Liv started.

" Actually, Mrs Williams, you very much do. You are the legal wife to Mr. Isaac plus all of you took an oath to accept this so take it." Rick said and stormed out of the room. Then this small piece of information I ignored earlier sunk in properly. Liv Williams was Liv Williams. She was really married to Isaac, Was he really serious? Why did he have to marry her of all young people in the world it just has to be Williams.

The shareholders started to get up and leave, Tania left as well. Sheila rose up too and asked Liv to join him.

No wait I need to talk to her?

" Liv?" I called her name. She turned and looked at me. " Can we talk?" I asked her

" Like now?" She asked.

" I will leave you guys alone." Sheila excused himself.

" Yah right now" I said to her. Sheila left the room to give us privacy. we were left alone. I took few strides to her and asked her to take a seat. Be both sat and made that chairs face each other.

" So, what is it that you wanted to talk about?" She asked.

Liv

I was seated facing my co CEO in the bright conference room. The place had alot of glass and white walls. Anyone passing by the hall next to the room would see most of the people in.

Co CEO, that was something unheard of. This came as a shock to me too. I wasn't really expecting this, any of it at all. I didn't even have the right words to speak the moment the announcement was made.

Tania was furious about the news. She didn't even try to hide any of it. She made sure everyone got a glimpse of her fury. It really made me wonder if she was the same person from this morning.

Looking at this man's reddish brown eyes gave me chills, it made me feel like I felt last night. I wonder if he was at the club last night. If he was, then my theory might be true. This man gives me chills.

Last night wasn't good for me. After almost three years, I had that dream again. That dream! that dream I had successfully forgotten of after serious therapy.

It took me months after that horrible incident to get over everything. They called me crazy, freak and at times weird. I was almost admitted to a mental health facility for help. It was a year I didn't want to recall. I knew what I saw but no one thought it was possibly true.

All this was probably because of the weird energy I got from that club last night. What am I saying?, it was because of that place.

I sat up on my bed this morning after a horrible night I just had and let my feet land on the soft cotton carpet. It was so warm under my feet. I stretched out alittle as I tried to calm my nerves from thinking too much about 'it'.

" Morning sunshine" I cried inwardly as I heard that sharp voice pierce through the quiet room. Why did she have to come so early.?

" Am starting to think of assigning you to be my new alarm, you know" I grumbled with my morning hoarse voice. I watched Tania strode through the room to the curtains and push them open. It let in alot of light which made me cover my eyes with my arm out of instinct. She can really mean to disorganize one's morning.

" I will be glad to, you know" she was smiling brightly when she turned. " We are going to the company today again, so hurry up and get ready" she was beaming this morning. Which wasn't the case later today at the meeting.

" Damnon, right?" I asked the guy infront of me. I knew that was his name because I paid close attention to his every word during the meeting. I just didn't want to look obvious. He nodded his head at that.

" Did you want anything in particular?" I asked him. It was now almost close to a minute and the man infront of me hadn't uttered a single word. The silence was starting to creep me out and the stare he gave me made me very uncomfortable.

Something about this man was telling me to stay away from him, but fate seemed to have something else in store for me, that wasn't happening anytime soon.

" Oh right!" He reluctantly said as he pressed his temple with his fingers... Seriously?? He didn't even seem like someone who has been in a business before. He just looked.....what's the word, lazy.

He wasn't even wearing anything appropriate for the meeting today.

So much for a coach dear hubby?- I grumbled inside.

" Have we met before?" He asked me as he narrowed his eyes at me. I felt like a criminal in interrogation under his strong gaze

Had we?

" Not that I can remember, have you seen me anywhere?" I asked, confused alittle. I could swear I had never seen this man before in my life. Unless....

Nah.... That's very impossible

" ohh.... what's your name again?" He asked. I looked at this guy infront of me and thought to myself, Really? I was literally the first to mention my name. Plus he called my name earlier Or was it pay back for asking his name?.

" Liv" I said the simple name. The three lettered sweet, easy to remember name.

" Liv..." He uttered my name with curiosity, I thought he was probably recalling where he had met me before but then...... " Sorry, I must have mistaken you for someone else" he said with a small smile and rose up.

Mistaken? Me?

I looked up at him to make sure this guy was serious. Am pretty sure am very unforgettable. Plus it was not like you can easily bump into someone who looked like me anytime any day. I felt a little insulted .

" Maybe you have" I said and plastered a fake smile that had gotten used to my face lately and rose up too. I felt really short at this point. I head slightly above his shoulder.

"Hey, Liv" Sheila walked in on us, great!" sorry....am I interrupting?" He asked in an apologetic manner.
