SIXTY SEVEN

Damnon

I felt pride as I watched Lin grow fearful. She wasn’t Afraid of me but she was afraid of what I might do.

“It must be Tamara helping you. I should have killed her after I was done stealing this body.”

“Yeah, but you didn’t because you are a fool.” Lin’s grandmother mocked. Emphasizing fool and turned back to her knitting.

“Don’t be so harsh. She is clueless.” I said to the Lady who completely ignored me. That didn't bother me at all because I knew she would give me all her attention soon enough.

“Traitor!” Lin roared at her grandmother. The lady didn’t fling. I feel Lin grow angry at the lady but that issue wasn’t mine. My main aim was to get Liv out and make her take back control of her body.

The man I had sent out came back with Lin’s actual body over his shoulder. He dropped the body with a loud thud right next to where Lin was standing. I saw Lin’s eyes widen with horror; from her facial expression, she was wondering how we got her body.
