She starts to teach Pathology Veteriner on 3rd grade college students and meets James on her very first step on that campus. Philip had just returned from the convenience store to buy his necessities. His father called him into the living room. He put his groceries near the attic and rushed to the living room. 


"Son, this is Laura, the daughter of Uncle Nicolas Carson. She will be taking a master's degree in veterinary medicine at our campus," said Daniel Landon, sitting on the long sofa. 


Laura stood up and shook Philip's hand introducing herself briefly. Then the three of them sat and talked in Landon's living room all afternoon while the rain poured down heavily. 


After having dinner with Philip and Prof. Daniel, Laura said goodbye. But it was still raining heavily while he didn't bring an umbrella. Philip also offered to take her on foot because their house was only 3 houses apart.
