Childhood Friend

Leonard Indrajaya contacted James that morning with the video call feature before he left for the office. The reason is, his good friend Enrico Tanurie told him that his only daughter, Brandy, will study at FKH UGM this year.

Enrico wants to entrust Brandy to James, who has previously studied at FKH UGM. After all, they used to be playmates when they were kids. Enrico since the children were toddlers had persuaded Leonard to set them up. But Leonard always refused because he wanted to give James the freedom to find his partner when it was time.

And the decision was right, now James had set his heart on Laura.

"Hello, James," Leonard greeted from his phone screen.

"Hello, Pi. It's been a while since you called," said James in surprise.

"Isn't it okay, Papi called in the morning?" Leonard teased.

"No. What's wrong, Pi?" James asked bluntly.
