Blake Shape has always lived in space. His father left when he was five to an unknown destination. Now on the cusp of his eighteenth birthday, Blake wants to find his father and reunite but what he finds is more than he bargains for. To get there he must go through obstacles and uncertainties.

From the Oasis to Beyond

Alex presses the button to extend the atmosphere readers from the Hawk to test the air on the unknown planet. The air testes move in a circular motion up in the air for two minutes. On top of the air tester, the light turns green, a voice message is sent to the computer system. 


Air tester rods fold back into the Hawk. 


“We have to pinpoint the location of the coordinates,” says Blake. 


Alex types into the computer system. The scanner lights blue on the screen. With this information, Alex maps the course. 


“Yes, it looks like we will be cruising that way,” says Alex as he points to a tall mountain range of lush green.
