CHAPTER NINETEEN

When Sam turned on the television the news channels were packed with news about dead people and a certain missing girl. When he was watching the news all he could think was, ‘A job well done’, and smile to himself. Rose was all the news could talk about and from what Sam had seen her parents were really worried about their daughter and her safety although she had only been gone one night. Sam started to get an unsettling feeling in his gut so he turned off the television and threw his stressed-out self on the bed. Sam knew that he had to get out of Berlin as soon as possible because his Uncle’s life was in the balance. He didn’t have to worry about people suspecting him or worrying about why he wasn’t in school because his ‘parents’ had informed the school that he would be transferring to a different school.
