CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

He woke up to nothing but pitch black all around him and it seemed as though waking up to the darkness was starting to become a regular thing for him and it made him question his skills and competence. Even though he knew that his hands were probably bound, he still tried to get them loose. When he got his hands free from his confines, he stood from the chair where he sat and started walking around the small room he was in. He started thinking about his capturers and how they found him and what they wanted with him. All of a sudden, Blade’s words came back to him as though he had just heard them and he didn’t know why now of all places his brain chose to remember them.

‘Something bad is about to happen and you and your family are at the centre of it.’
