Chapter 27 - Orphans

“You have the same nature if the situation calls for it! Lunatics! That woman is missing, possibly dead, and you’re playing games! Sick people!” Dorothea was on the verge of giving her banshee scream to attack them but managed to not go for it. Drake would be affected, too.

“If I was your mother, I would have beaten both your asses, to discipline you! No manners! You are a disgrace!” She crossed her arms and puffed with her head moved in the opposite direction. She couldn’t stand their sight anymore.

“Our mother died after she gave birth to me.” David provided a valid reason for their reckless actions, as she considered.

“Our dad was murdered three months before our birth.” Michael added to the story, with gloomy eyes.
