Mona's POV:

I keep silent, ignoring the breathing in flames bull at my back.

“Bava Mafia seems to have things under control as they did the cleaning among the others to set things straight. They have as head the famous billionaire, Frederik Shawn, who’s established here in the States. His dad, Alessandro Shawn, has Italian origins, and he’s the former head of Bava Mafia, still activating at some levels, but under his son.”

Shit…. Don’t tell me I have as target my husband or father-in-law….

I want to stand up for Frederik to not hear this, but he keeps me on him, and I shake my head in disbelief over everything, breathing with heaviness, chewing from my left cheek in frustration. If I receive as order to kill either Frederik or Alessandro, I can’t go against it…. So, see? I’m in such a thriller situation…. No, I’ve maintained my marriage with him out of reach from my people, considering I will find a way to extract myself from it.
