"Sabr Zayyad, Sabr"
I took in a deep breath and exhaled loudly, steadying my breathing.
I turned to look at Sa'ada and there she sat with a slight frown adorning her face.
That's good. She should know she doesn't have a place in my life again, even as friends.
I sat on the long couch and Layla took her place beside me. She pulled off her hijab and set it aside.
Layla's pov:
"So Layla Abdullah, or should I say Garba" Sa'ada said with a smirk on her face, "the world is a small place, don't you think?" she questioned.
Zayyad glanced at me, giving me a 'what's going on look'.
I directed my gave back to Sa'ada ignoring Zayyad. A sadistic smile was still playing on her lips.
"Stop this foolishness you are displaying and tell us why you are here, we don't have all day" Zayyad snapped impatiently.
I just sat saying nothing, my mind going overdrive.
How come she's his ex. I never imagined it to be her.
