After a few weeks, Doctor Amy came to visit Elaine in her village and she went into Elaine's room and sat in a chair while Elaine rested on the bed facing the window "Elaine, are you getting better" said doctor Amy starting a conversation between them.

Elaine nodded, Doctor Amy pulled long and looked at Elaine "Elaine, Actually i has something to talk to you, I want to take you to Shanghai to meet the adoptive family, They are good and want to make you a part of them and there you can keep learning and start a new life "She said. Elaine smiled and shook her head

"Doctor, thank you for helping me but I refused because no matter how important my life is it is not the same as my Mother and I have promised someone, that I will take care of my Mother and will not leave her" Said Elaine.

"I'm sure you will definitely refuse but I want you to know that your family doesn't want to see you live here without feeling happy and I know you don't dare because you think this house is where you take refuge and this house that can accepts you right" said Doctor Amy . Elaine silently looked at the sky in the window as she held back tears from coming out.

Elaine had reached the health room and she stopped behind the door when she heard Nick's conversation with his friend "Nick, you didn't tell Elaine you were sick now" Fu pei said. Nick leaned against the wall and put ice cubes near his head.

"I don't want Elaine to feel depressed and angry if she sees me like this and it's enough that I protect her without her knowing," He said. Elaine covered her ears when she heard all that "He just said, maybe because he wanted to show himself changed because of me but that's all just acting" Elaine thought in her way.

Elaine went inside after calming herself down, Fu pei and Leon stood up when they saw Elaine "Looks like someone can take care of you and we both go first and if you want anything later you message us" Leon said pulling Fu pei out.

Nick was shocked when he saw Elaine come to see him, Elaine sat on a chair and gave food and drinks "All students should eat because it is mandatory, Captain does not want students to get sick later" Elaine said while looking at the floor and catching his breath as she ran.

Nick put ice cubes on the table and opened the food that Elaine gave him and he ate. Nick stopped eating when he saw Elaine staring at the floor for too long "Elaine, do you feel like throwing up if you look at my face" He said a little sad.

Elaine raised her face "If I feel like throwing up, I won't come here to see you" She said a little angry. Nick felt Elaine was not breathing well so he got out of bed "Come on, rest on the bed first, I'll find medicine in the closet for you" Nick said. "It's okay, I'm really okay" Elaine said.

Nick lift Elaine and put her on the bed and covered her and he quickly looked for medicine. Elaine just looked at Nick who was anxiously looking for medicine, "If you're anxious to see me sick like this, can you take care of yourself after this" Elaine said looking at Nick's back.

Nick stopped looking for medicine "I promise I will try to take care of myself and will not make you run because of me" Nick said in a slow tone and he continued to look for medicine.

Darren just heard a conversation from outside "Nick, I won't let you take Elaine away from me" Darren said angrily and left the place.

Nick came to bring medicine after finding "Well, you inhale this medicine" Nick said and give to Elaine to holding a bottle of asthma medicine and he sat down on a chair.

Elaine inhaled asthma medicine for a few times and she saw Nick was still unwell so Elaine took ice cubes and put it on Nick's head "Hold on, it will fall again" Said Elaine and Nick held it.

Elaine and Nick came out of the health room and headed to the field "Elaine, Are you can forgive me little by little" Nick said while holding Elaine's hand. Elaine stopped walking and turned to see Nick holding her hand

"Nick, If it's that so easy after you treated me well it's impossible because what has happened between us it's a torture you gave me for many years and I just realized, Why i care about you when you're sad and sick, It's because you're just like me" Elaine said and let go of the grip and walked away without look back.

Nick just mumbled and didn't move after hearing what Elaine had said. "Do I have to stop here, Do I have to stay away from you forever" He thought so.
