Chapter 68

At the hostel, Elaine and Nick were in their own room, Elaine was finish change the clothes and she picked up her phone and sat at a chair opposite the window. She saw pictures and videos of her playing coloring with Nick "It was a beautiful time like childhood, but we both understand with our own attitude, we can't say the word love because now we are careful when doing something so that accidents in the past will not happen again" Said Elaine in her heart. Slowly Elaine get up from her chair and sleeps on the floor accompanied by the night sky.

The next morning, Nick gets ready and put on a suit and wait for Elaine outside the car. Elaine wore a beautiful floral black dress and white high heels. Nick was amazed by Elaine's natural beauty with simple makeup. Elaine walked over to Nick "Thank you for taking me to the bike factory again" She said. Nick handed out sour water "Your arrival enlivened the factory and you said you wanted to buy a bicycle for your brother" Nick said. Elaine drank the water and got into the car with Nick.

At the bicycle factory, Elaine watched every move of all the workers she met "Where's is that man" Elaine said in her heart. Nick saw Elaine being weird "You have an eye problem, it's like seeing an enemy only" Nick said jokingly. "I'm farsighted, that's why I see like that, where are the enemies I don't know that" Elaine said denying Nick's words.

A group of uncles came towards them "Mr. Nick, we are surprised by Mr. Nick presence to the factory, let me bring Mr. inside to see the product" Said the chief. Nick nodded while Elaine was shocked to see that man and Nick pulled Elaine follow him. Inside the factory, Nick is assertive when inspecting bicycle products as well as notes on all items.

Elaine walked over to see the bike making and she stopped when she saw the man hide the book under a large wooden box and walk away. Elaine looked around as well as saw the cctv "I'll make sure you won't be able to run" Elaine said and she walked away. Nick can feel that was a quite a few villains in his factory but he has no proof.

Elaine saw many employees surrounding Nick "They definitely won't let Nick come towards the store room, what I have to do is make Nick come and not make anyone suspicious of me" Elaine thought with a pounding. Elaine approached the wooden box and she thought of something. Slowly with a pounding feeling Elaine placed her ring under it and placed a heavy stick on top of her hand. "You're crazy Elaine" She said to herself.

Elaine held back the pain in her hand and she screamed loudly calling for Nick. Nick and the other workers were shocked to hear the scream. "Elaine" Nick said anxiously. When he wanted to run towards the voice, he was stopped by the chief of staff "Better Sir be here, let us go see" Said with fear. Nick looked at them with a fierce face "Aside" Nick said rudely and ran.

The man and the chief of staff looked at each other, they all followed Nick. Nick ran towards the store room and saw Elaine on the floor with a wound in her hand. Nick quickly approached Elaine "Elaine, are you okay, your hand is injured, why did this happen" Nick said with a worried feeling. Elaine saw the two villains were there, then Elaine started acting

"I was just walking here, but my ring fell under the wooden box, I tried to take it but suddenly the wood on top fell on me, Nick can you take the ring for me" Said Elaine. Nick looked at his workers fiercely "Are like this the safety at the factory" He said loudly. All the workers became frightened.

Nick lift up the box and looked at Elaine's ring as well as the record book then he picked up both. The chief of staff with his accomplices became like melted sugar when they saw the book was in the hands of their boss. "Boss, forgive me for coming late" Su Yang said.

Nick lifts Elaine "This is a record book, I want you to solve this problem right now" Nick said and quickly left. Su Yang bowed "Okay boss" He said. Su Yang called four security guards and catch the chief of staff with his friend "Take them to the police station" He said.

At the clinic, after being treated by a doctor. Nick saw Elaine's hand wrapped "I'm sorry for not protecting you" Nick said. Elaine looked at Nick "It's not all your fault, after all you already saved me" Elaine said while persuading Nick. Nick hugged Elaine "Elaine, please don't make me worried and every time you get hurt, I feel like going crazy" He said. Elaine nodded "I promise" She said.

After solving the problem at the factory, Nick returned to the hostel and saw Elaine asleep in his room "After today's incident, I just realized, I was in such a hurry to get you without thinking about the promise of safety and love for you, but now I know what I need to do "He said and he kissed Elaine's forehead and slept on the floor leaning his head on the bed while holding Elaine's hand.

Elaine woke up and saw Nick by her side and she smiled when she remembered the same incident at the hotel "It used to be the same, you slept on the floor holding my hand like this" Elaine said. Elaine looked at the clock on the wall "I'm sorry, I had to go home first, I don't want Darren to know about us" She said and quietly left Nick's room and packed her things and left the hostel.

Nick wakes up and sees Elaine is gone but he sees there is a letter on the bed. Nick stood up and read the letter "Again, you left me" He said with a sigh.
