Chapter 53: Do you love me?

Glass House,

It was the next day, early in the morning. Luciella was lounging at a corner. There was a sofa bed, set just right by the glass windows. She was in deep thoughts, 'Mommy, do you love me?' she could not believe Anna asked her that.

Luciella had been thinking whether was it she did not gave her enough love or was it the lacking of a father figure, she could not comprehend. Her precious daughter who was just three years old, looked at her with a lonely eyes.

Before that, she thought she already gave what should be given as a mother to a daughter. She made sure everything she wanted would fall under her hands, whatever she wanted she would give. But was she not showing enough love, having been asked such a question was pretty devastating.

'Anna' Luciella keep calling her name in her mind, with her hands up. She looked at her fingers, trying to find out what was missing. 'I need to settle this once and for all!' she made a promised to get Anna a full family, so that she could leave this house and stay with her,

'Everywhere I go, Anna will follow me.' it was not a bad idea afterall, no mother would want to be away with their daughter for such a long duration.

[Luca: I heard you have not comeback?]

[Luciella: I want to stay here for a few more days, can I?]

[No.] a definite 'no' from the man, nothing more nothing less. She already guessed it, she do not know why she got her hopes up.

[Luca: I expect you to be back by tomorrow, yes?]

Luciella gritted her teeth, she did not want to argue with him. Since she would always lose, 'Controlling bastard!' she shouted in her mind.

[Luciella: En.]

"Come here, Anna..." Luciella pursed her lips, seeing her daughter throwing a tantrum. It has always been like that, whenever she told her she needed to go. Anna would throw a tantrum, pouting her lips and frowning with folded arms.

Seeing her daughter ignoring her, she looked at Ji Nuan in a helpless look. Hoping her friend could help her, but all she got was 'Don't count on me, I also could not help!'.

Anna was on the verge of crying, she hardly saw Luciella. It had become a fear and horror for her, whenever she saw her mother going. It felt neglected and abandoned, 'Does Mommy not love me?' her blue eyes became teary.

One look would make anyone submit to the princess, since no one can fend from such a pitiful look. "Anna!" Luciella voice raised up a little, she did not have a method to coax her daughter.

"You d..don't wa...me..anymor?" Anna said in a muffled tone as she cried, running into Luciella's embraced.

Luciella felt her heart stings from her daughters actions, 'I'm sorry, baby..' she kissed her daughters head, hoping to appeased her.

Ji Nuan stood at the side, silently not able to do anything. She felt teary too, seeing such a scene. She felt guilty as she was also going to leave with Luciella, since she needed to go back to the estate.

"Baby, your granny is going to come soon. Mommy will visit you soon, kay?" Luciella carried her daughter up from the ground, and arm below her small butt. Her body moved up and down, while using a hand to soothe her back.

"Xuan.." Ji Nuan called out, she looked at her with a complex look.

'?' Luciella quirked her brows at her, "Is it possible to take Anna with us?" Ji Nuan felt it was really time to bring Anna back, since the girl was getting bigger by the day. She needed to start attending school too, and not just home schooling.

'What are you talking about!' she glared at Ji Nuan, asking such a request in front of her daughter.

Luciella looked down, and what she saw broke her heart. Anna tears stained face, and pouty lips. She looked at her with a hopeful yet abandoned look, "Anna will just stay here.." her tone was very pitiful, since it sounded muffled.

"How about after Mommy ask Daddy Cheng?" She surrendered, but it was surely not going to be today where she was going back. There were too many arrangements she had to make, it was too rush.

At the earliest, it would still take a whole month to plan a thorough plan. "Xuan, what about we announce Anna is my daughter?" She felt that was the best choice, since binding to her will be safe.

"You and her?" Luciella pointed between Anna and Ji Nuan, those hazel colored hair and blue eyes, it was nothing like Ji Nuan. No resemblance at all, how could they be recognize as mother and daughter. 'He is not dumb!' she thought to herself.

"Mommy will bring me back?" Anna's voice cracked at the last part.

"But it will not be that fast, can Anna wait?" She kissed her nose, in an adoring manner.

'Nodded' Anna would wait for however long needed, if only she could go back with Luciella. She did not hope much, but to have her mommy by her side at all times. She could only see her during the time she came over or on a magazine. Anna felt very sad, and abandoned.
